Forever 21 Reviews Summary

The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding product quality and customer service. While some customers appreciate the affordability and occasional quality improvements of the clothing, many express frustration over receiving damaged or poorly made items, along with a lack of support for returns and exchanges. I bought some pieces yesterday at the Geneva, IL store, and when I got home I realized that one of the items I bought was in the wrong size; so I went back today to exchange it to the right size, same item, same color. However, I was sadly surprised with a very rude manager saying that that piece was from a final sale, and it couldn't be exchanged. I told her I didn't know that, and that the cashier didn't explain it to me during my check-out yesterday. She then said that this info it is on my receipt, and also at the cashier's location sign (all I saw was a 'hiring now' sign, no wonder...). I told her that I usually shop during my work lunchtime, and because of that, in a hurry, I took the wrong size by mistake. She just said "it is what it is". Anyways, after she treat me like a@#€! $*., I left the store hoping that the "hiring now" sign could in the near future attract a staff more client oriented, and more focused on customer satisfaction. Managers name is Lisa Liard.

The prices are very reasonable, especially when it is on sale. And the quality is still great! I only spend about $20 per items here, while other brands cost up to hundreds buck.
But I got 1 bad experience with F21. Last time I bought a bunch of accessories and the package never arrived at my place. I didn't know what happen, but they said it was sent back to F21 and I have to pay shipping fee again to get the box. It's been months and I still don't get it :(

I HAD THE WORSE EXPERIENCE IN THE WORLD WITH FOREVER 21. NOT ONLY CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS BUT THEY STEAL THE MONEY FROM YOU. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WHEN YOU BUY ANYTHING THEY OFFER FOR SALE, YOU CAN'T SEND IT BACK BECAUSE THEY WONT REFUND YOUR MONEY NOR GIVE YOU STORE CREDIT... BUT NOT ONLY THAT, THEY EVEN KEEP YOUR RETURNS ITEMS "FOREVER" IF YOU DON'T CALL TO ASK FOR RETURN STATUS WITHIN 1 MONTH AFTER THEY RECEIVE THE RETURN.

I placed an order online yesterday. They were having a sale, and conveniently, for them, the order didn't go through, but my money somehow did. As soon as I clicked whatever button for it to process, i was taken to a page with an unprofessional picture of some cat saying "ay caramba, something when wrong, please be patient, thank you very mouse" something like that. It said nothing helpful. I didn't reorder because I didn't want to be charged for a failed order again, plus I was hoping it would go through eventually. So, today I chatted with some "Jessica" character, and I asked her if they could send me the order instead of canceling the payment because I wanted the sale price, but she said that she supposedly couldn't see my order blah blah blah. Any other professional, fully functional company would have made it happen/ allow their CSRs to make it happen. NEVER EVER will I shop online at forever21.

Much prefer the online shop to the stores. Store are crowded, unorganized, and hard to navigate. But, the online shop is great. No, not every product is great quality. But I've found that many of the pieces I've purchased at F21 are actually a very solid make. The great style apparent in their clothing is the real seller here. So many great looks for every occasion. Also, give their accessories/jewelry a try.

Want to send a gift-card? This is the company to AVOID at all costs: Unreliable, unresponsive, uncaring, and a shipping department that is totally confused. Even after telephone and written complaints there is no response from customer service or QualControl. DO NOT purchase gift cards here. (T. Sly, Toronto)

Cheap quality, bad customer service, even worse return policy. Overall not worth shopping at, and if you haven't encountered a problem with them yet- you're bound to soon. There workers are all extremely rude and surly, they roll their eyes and don't even look at you, and secretly make fun of customers with their coworkers behind their backs. They do not know business and hire absolutely repulsive people who don't know what they're doing. I bought a couple things that were expensive from there, used a measly 10% off coupon, when I reviewed my order everything looked fine, but when it came they looked nothing like the picture and did not fit. So I try to return them and on the receipt is says everything is final sale and you can't return them? I knew sale items were non-returnable but with a 10% off coupon? It did NOT say final sale on any of the items on the receipt online, that is FRAUD! Whole website is a scam and absolutely horrible quality. Also the people that shop there are even worse, they're all rude wannabes. Not a good store to associate with. And their return policy is HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! You can't return anything and get a refund, you only get a store credit. Which is useless because I will never shop there again. Also their shipping service is really bad and slow, it took over 2 weeks to get one little item I got from there. Overall I would give them a one star rating and would not buy from them ever again.

I was very disappointes with my products. After I placed tbe order the delivery date was set for thursday and I ordered in on Sunday. On Thursday the date switched to Friday, and then on Friday the date switched to Saturday. So that kond of upset me. Iordered a tank top and a kimono. The tank top ended up coming in like I wanted it to. But when opened the package that had my kimono in it, I saw that the on the shoulder it was ripped. I chose not to send the kimono back as I haad been waiting for it for a while. Im very disappointed in the quality and the shipping.

I agree with other posts... return policy stinks. They've happy to take your money but don't tell you the policy before you purchase something. To further add to the situation, they are rude. Stay away from this store, especially the one at Holyoke Mall on Mass. They could care less about the consumer's happiness. First and last visit to this company except to use the store credit they gave me.

I was a little disappointed while trying to return something. Even though the clothes are very inexpensive they are appealing to the eye and can do the job. The cashiers are perky and willing to accept your cash/credit card or check once your ready to buy. The moment you need to return something beware. They have the worst return policy. I never thought I would need to use it until I purchased a dress that was defective. The dress was my size and very nice looking. I didn't try it on in the store because I bought a dress just like it and the size was right. However my zipper zipped but it opened in the middle after you zipped it. I told them I wanted to exchange it or get store credit. Well it had been 25 days not the 21 days since time of purchase. It was a delay because I didn't wear the dress for a while since I purchased it. It was too much I went through at the counter for them to tell me no it can't be exchanged or given a store credit but I can go to a tailor. The cashier said "it's probably going to be expensive but we can't take it back here". However I will never purchase another item from Forever 21. They will not get another dollar from me. 11 and G street location

I don't like the fact when you purchase something from forever 21, they accept the money but won't return the cash when you return the item. I just purchase the item and brought it back the next day. I don't like the policy, it suck just like this store...

I ordered a package 6 days ago that I need for 8/14. I paid for 4-9 day shipping that is a BIG GAP! It's supposed to be delivered the day AFTER I need it. I emailed customer service they never responded. Customer service is supposed to be responding 24 hours. Also, my tracking hasn't updated in 4 days. Extremely annoyed. I also hate their return policy. If we have a receipt why can't we get our money back?!?! RIP OFF. I am not shopping here anymore. My friend actually got banned from shopping on their website because he package ever came so she called and called and sent emails now she can't shop there. RUDE PEOPLE TOO.

Their return policies and customer service are the worst I've seen. I wanted to exchange a blouse for a smaller size. First they told me try to find the right size but they did not help just said look in that area probably you will find it. Then finally I did (It looks organization is a big issue too) when I went to the register I clearly said this is a size exchange. They ended charging me 5USD due to a price difference after one day of buying it! But it was exactly the same blouse. When I realized there was an extra charge I decided to cancel my purchase and to my surprise they just gave me a gift card! So I ended paying more without the blouse I wanted and in the top of that the Manager of the Oakland Mall at Michigan was rude when I explained what happened. Last time I will go to this place. Not even interested on using that gift card. They will probably trick me next time. My advice if you buy something make sure is the right size or you will not be able to return it.

Always buy thinking that you can't return it, because you probably wouldn't be able to if you wanted to.

One of my friend already alert me about forever21 but I was placed order because my girlfriend like the skirt most.My friend suggest me http://robecart.com is better place to order. New website but latest trendy dresses at very low price and customer support is awesome with 365 days return policy. And I was placed again but now on robecart.com and unbelievable service fast delivery and more important they deliver same dress which I was salect. Thanks Robecart and goodbye forever21.

No returns
July 22, 2014

No returns. I bought a shirt online, not on sale not final sale warning. I did not use a discount other than free shipping. This item did not say final sale when i paid and reviewed my order but upon arrival on the receipt it says final sale. Most of their clothes are different sizes and oversized so I cannot be guaranteed a small is actually a sm and not a large. Never ever buy online. I will avoid the store as well for a horrible no return policy!

I was a online forever 21 customer for a long time till i didn't receive my order which was placed in middle of June. The tracking number (ups) i received only shows it's delivered to local postal office. After few days waiting, I decided to request my order status. This time, they gave me another tracking number (usps) which shows the package is delivered and ask me wait till 10 business days to start their investigation. On July 17th, I called them to request my order status again and got an affidavit form (pdf) to fill out by email. Meanwhile, I was informed forever 21 will need another 3 weeks to finish the investigation. On July 18th, i got another email says they can't accept the one i sent b/c they only accept the hand signature. I can't believe this is how they solve the non-delivered order issue. Always create new problems for customer who already paid but receive nothing.

One more thing... the customer service over the phone told me they can send me the form and i can send it back after filling it out by hand. No doubt, she said it gonna take longer to process the investigation.

Forever 21 was my all time favorite store... notice that I wrote "was". I ordered about $170.00 worth of clothing online. While shopping around for shirts, I glanced at the reviews and noticed many people mentioned to buy a medium. Apparently it was supposed to shrink after the first wash. I was excited when my package arrived at the end of the week. Seven shirts were too big, so much for the helpful reviews, and I also bought shorts and long denim jeans, both way too large. I read the return policy and it said return to this LA address. So... I did. I tracked my package and it arrived on time and was returned to the right location. But one week went by and still no credit. I went on the website and looked at the return policy. Two bullets into reading the paragraph, I saw in bold: Non-refundables. Under that bullet was E-cards. Well there went my $85.00. This store is one big joke. It's so cheap that the packages have to be returned by USPS... they can't be returned the same way they came, by UPS. I had to spend my own money, which was $13.00, on sending the package back, and then learned I'm getting no credit for the clothes that didn't fit. That whole process is just one ginormous joke.
Forever 21 just lost a lifelong customer.
