I have been shopping at Forever 21 for a couple of years now and I have not one complaint. I have bought a little over 45 items online for an unbelievably great price in the past month. They may be perceived as cheap but even their $7.90 jeans are pretty good quality. Their return service is great and even if their guidelines say they wont accept a clothing article, odds are they will. Their $3.80 t shirts are soft and totally worth buying 5... or 10... might as well buy all the colors In and online stores both are great for people looking for a great clothing with a small budget. You receive your online shipping order on time and free returns in store. I totally recommend this store to every one, considering it is half my closet. My friends and family also love and never had a problem with this store.
Forever 21 is a great place to shop. They have a great selection of trendy, affordable clothes. The quality isn't the best, but it's not terrible either. Free shipping on orders over $50 is nice! One down side is that a lot of their clothes are VERY short. Not so good if you're a tall women.
I ordered some goodies as a treat for myself, I took advantage of the $60+ free shipping thing and once I ordered on a Monday night, it shipped on a Tuesday afternoon and came on Thursday! I don't know why all the bad reviews
Normally I love forever 21 to get casual clothes, but today was totally different. I bought these black jeans from forever 21 and when I got home and tried them on again, there was a hole where the belt strap was ripped off and a hole was there. I was extremely disappointed because I live far away from a mall so I couldn't even go back to return them.
I ordered online and put my apartment address (which is not hard to find at all). Yes, I live in an apartment complex, but all doors are clearly marked. Apparently it was an undeliverable address (which I was notified of after the fact that it was sent all the way back to the warehouse in LA). The only reason I found out about the status of my order was because I called Forever21 to see what was going on– no emails were sent to me. I was then informed that it would take another 9 days to re-process the package and in addition to the days it takes to ship. On top of this, I would have to pay for shipping again and wait another week. I ultimately decided to cancel my order (no shipping cost refund). This company is bull$#*!.
I am an 18-year-old girl who so happens to fall within Forever21's target demographic group. I also happen to be very forgiving of bad customer service (as mistakes could happen), but what occurred today has put me off the brand for good.
At the XXI in Upper Canada Mall, I bought a cosmetic bag as a gift for my friend (clear vinyl with black stripes), and at the cash register, all proceeded as normal. However, I came back a couple of days later to return the cosmetic bag, and they chose to inform me THEN that the cosmetic bag was on final sale and was non-refundable. I had not been informed at all of the final sale by ANY of the associates in store, and furthermore, when I initially purchased the bag, they provided a gift receipt for my friend at my request.
However, when I went back, they told me that the bag was non-refundable and non-exchangeable, and the gift receipt was void no matter what.
The thing that disappointed me the greatest was the not the loss and waste of a good $10 that could have been used elsewhere, but was how associates reacted to my issue. There was a lady in who called the next person up (me), and she behaved entirely unprofessionally by popping and chewing gum loudly while I was telling her that I wanted to return the bag. She, then addressed me in a rude voice, telling me that "all bags were final price". I told her that was the first time I was even notified of the final sale status (I wasn't even notified during the initial checkout). So I told her that I had a gift receipt also, so that would enable me to return the price no matter what. HOWEVER, she just casually yelled to another associate, whether I could return this with the gift receipt, being entirely unprofessional and uncaring of whether the customer (me) was satisfied.
I do not plan on returning and purchasing from this store.
My previous order was the worst you should track the order record #*******, it was placed on 6/16, shipped on 6/25. I wonder why it took so long for handling and shipping.
After reading several reviews, I took the risk to order from F21's online store. I took their free shipping for minimum $21, and ordered six items to get free shipping. A day later, I received the tracking number and was told the package would be received on the same week. I just received it and it came just as expected. Overall, my first was a success. Everything was wrapped, but the box that came was a little beaten up.
THE CLOTHES HERE ARE TRENDY IF YOU ARE YOUNG LOOKING... AND REASONABLE THIN!... the prices were good got a dud promocode. Customer rep. Gave me a great deal! I like shopping at the online store... and the mall store. Too!
I love the look and style of the products at Forever21. However, they have the worst customer service I have ever seen. I purchased a cami dress with a zipper on the side. Upon arrival, the zipper was hard to move but I figured it would get easier with more use. After the FIRST time I wore it, the zipper broke. Since I had removed the tag to wear the dress, the company WOULDN'T ACCEPT THE RETURN even though the zipper was faulty (since I only wore it once for an hour or so). I have never seen people disregard customers like this before. Normally companies are supposed to cater to customers to keep them happy. This company seems like it couldn't care about us at all. They have lost me as a customer
My experience with forever21 has been always not so satisfactory. A. There are no hours of operation on the door. B. customer service is so bad my daughter wanted to buy a shirt and wanted my opinion, we walked in the store 15 min to close a girl said " Hi we will be closing in 15 min" I replied " Hi we just need to buy this shirt thanks" we took the shirt on our way to pay for the shirt another girl goes" Hi we will be closing shortly like in 10 minutes" I got upset and told that girl "Yes other girl did reminded us but if closing time is so important to you may be you should have that on the door so everyone would know". I left the store WITHOUT BUYING THE SHIRT If I would be treated like this I would NOT BUY AT THAT STORE.

Company taking advantage of young girls with lower income. Cheap products priced /sort of/ cheaply that break after first "use" then cannot be returned. This would be my second time having this awful experience with your products. I have learned my lesson and thus will no longer be shopping at your store, as well as encouraging those I know not to shop there either.
Before, I had purchased a pair of shoes in which the strap snapped literally during my first use. $20 pretty much down the toilette. Steered clear of this company for about two years.

TL; DR Bad quality don't get sucked into wasting your money here on items that will simply fall apart.
Not to mention you can only return their items for gift cards.
I ordered a package and it never arrived. I was waiting and waiting and finally I received an email saying it was sent back to their shipping department. So once back from holidays I called the 1 -888 number and they wanted to charge me again to ship it out again. When I ordered it, it said standard shipping 5 - 10 days, nowhere on the check out it said it was coming by Purolator otherwise I would have given a physical address not my mailing address in the country. Then I start asking questions like why did Purolator not contact me when the package could not be delivered? Her response, you did not supply us with a phone number. I paid by paypal that was my checkout and all of my information is there. This has been the ultimate worst experience ever. I have ordered a ton of things online, even a stroller that made it to me in 3 days yet a $7 shirt can't make it to me. By the time it would actually get to me it would have been over $25 dollars for something that is not even worth the $7 I was paying so I told them to return my money for an item that I never received. Sad thing, they still get to keep the $10 for shipping.
Been there twice to just check it out. This is a good place for young gals looking for playwear. Not expensive, and not trying to be all things to all people. Most young gals don't have unlimited funds. Some stuff was in poor taste, but mostly there's a young vibe and a lot from which to choose. Lots of colorful clothes. Not to step on feelings, but this is a shop for young people of normal weight. Just my opinion.
Me and my sister ordered two shirts, I ordered the "Classic Pinstriped Shirt" and my sis ordered "Cream Lace Top" or something like that. We ordered the two shirts 2 weeks ago and it just got here yesterday at night. We were both tired so we decided to open the package the next day. Now that we woke up, we opened the package, and shockingly my sister got the shirt she asked for, as for me I got the wrong shirt. Funny part is that my big genius brother ripped all the papers that came with the package, so now I can't return the shirt, great right? I don't think so.
Was looking for some new summer dresses and Forever21 came to mind. Everything on the website looked great, so I filled out my order and everything seemed fine. Payment went through right away and received email notifications that my order had been shipped a few days later. Waited about a month for the order to arrive, then another email popped up to let me know that my order had been returned to the shipping center and that I would have to call in to reship the order or refund it. I thought that was a little annoying considering it did not give any reason for the order being returned but I decided to call in and try to reship it. The customer service representative I talked to was actually very nice and set up my order to be reshipped (which did end up costing my the shipping fee which was originally free since I had ordered more than $60). So again I play the waiting game and after another month of waiting an email appears and lets me know that my credit card is being charged for the original amount of my order again. After checking with my account I find that yes, it was charged the right amount originally, but then refunded twice for some unknown reason, then charged again. Needless to say the extra hassle was not appreciated and in the end I never received my order.
I love shopping online at forever 21 because of the great prices and great fashion. The deliveries do take quite long to arrive and the best products are always online which I don't mind but the fact that you can not return certain items like the LOVE 21 range in store is quite a downfall because it takes really long to return the item and wait for it to be sent.
Somehow company placed two orders of the same item and charged for both, although I only received one e-mail. A few days later, I receive notice I have two of the items shipping. Called to dispute and was told I would need to pay the shipping and go to the post office to return. Why did I not receive an e-mail regarding the duplicate order? By the time I was informed it had shipped, it was too late to cancel. Also, there was no manager available to talk to. Customer service was not helpful at resolving my issue. Stay away from using customer service at this store!

Answer: Yes, its horrible customer service and if you return items purchased online to the return address provided. The items disappear even with postal tracking to say it was delivered. I return 8 pair of jeans in the same box original box. Forever 21 warehouse said i rerurn 1 item. Does not make sense to pay $20.00 delivery confirmation to return 1 pair of $8.00 jeans. Be aware, someone in the warehouse does not scanning the return items and keep it for their own use or sale. Which makes it bad for honest customers that want to return items for exchange. Customer service was no help and basically said nothing was return but 1 pair of jeans. I ask for warehouse contact information, i was told its confidential. Do not purchase!
