After booking my flight, I was browsing the seat selection function provided by the Flighthub webpage. I accidently clicked on the plane image for only the outgoing flight and for only one passenger, and then the webpage just went on itself and finalized everything including payment. There was no confirmation, no chance to select seat for the return flight and the other passenger. The website didn't ask me to fill my credit card information, it didn't provide a page for the payment, and it just went on charging my credit card without any authorization!
As a result, Flighthub charged me $11.9 for itself and $39.62 on behalf of Air Canada. I called the customer service right away to reverse the transactions, but they said they can't do anything about it since it is not a refundable charge!
This incident either is caused by Flighthub's insecure webpage design, or by Flighthub's malicious intent for fraud. Either case, it is unacceptable for Flighthub to charge customers without their approval! It's Flighthub's responsibility to reverse both transactions.
There was not enough information about the insurance coverage and Covid provided prior to purchase. Details were only disclosed after purchase.

Such a nightmare to deal with. I tried using a credit from a cancelled covid flight and took over 20 hours waiting on the phone and they still didn't get it done. Almost all of their agents kept repeating the same script saying there is nothing they could do. 4 hung up on me after hours of waiting in the cue. I just wanted to change my destination and use the money that was owed to me. Also going through their supervisors I got generic emails telling me to call back their regular agents again. Worst customer service experience ever! Such a waste of time and I am still waiting to hear back from them.
I wish i could give you 0 star because you do not deserve it. I booked my tickets in January and due to covid 19 i had to cancel it. They told my that i have to pay 100$ and i will get future travel credit of $735. But i was charged twice after wasting my 2 days with them i was finally able to get my refund and two days ago i called them to re-book my flight i wanted to use my travel credit and i did pay $100 as cancellation fee. Yesterday i was told that i do not qualify for future travel credit. Why did you charge me $100 cancellation fee and you are not even giving me future credit? These guys have no honor. I will never ever use your service again. I will never recommend anyone to use your service.

My worst customer service experience in the travel industry in 40 years! Without any notice from FlightHub, my international flight from Zurich back to Montreal was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. I have been trying to rebook my flight for 10 weeks now, had 7 phone conversations with both French and English speaking reps, have sent 4 emails asking to issue a new ticket, but I didn't get a single reply let alone a ticket. When on the phone, they would keep me in the loop and hang up on me after 15-20 min. Once this lesson learned, I made sure they had my phone number and email and urged them to call back if the line goes dead - which it did, but no call back from the reps ever. Once I had opted for a call back request on their French phone menu, they wouldn't even take my calls anymore, just playing an automated message saying that "travel specialists" are working on my request and hang up on me. On my last call (yesterday), I got through on the English menu and could finally talk to a supervisor, who didn't have a helpful attitude at all. She checked for available flights for a couple of dates, but told me she couldn't issue a ticket because Air Canada didn't show a fare yet for that date. She promised to send me an update by email the same day, which I never received. I went on the Air Canada website, of course there were fares for all these flights, and ended up booking a new ticket with Air Canada directly - for a flight that I had already paid to FlightHub more than 9 months ago! A class lawsuit against FlightHub, I am in - there is no justification for their disappointing customer service, this is severe fraud and such a company should NOT be allowed to operate in Canada!

Answer: Terrible experience. I bought "extended cancellation insurance" which apparently expires the same day you buy it. I learned this when I tried to cancel my flight the next day. Why would anyone buy cancellation insurance that only lasts a few hours? They did refund my cancellation insurance but I was stuck with the flight. I would not have booked when I did if I understood the cancellation policy.
