I come here for all of my glasses and sunglasses. So much cheaper than purchasing at the eye doctor and amazing quality. I have over 10 pairs I've purchased from EyeBuyDirect and have never been more satisfied.

My wife bought 2 pairs of very good looking frames with prescription lenses from EyeBuyDirect last year (just over $200). While wearing her favorite pair about a month ago, she heard an audible "pop" - one of the lenses had come out, leaving a broken frame, most likely from the lens not being cut properly and placing undue stress on the frame. With one pair lost, she began to wear the second pair, which she had previously only wore on occasion. Lo and behold, the exact same thing happened - an audible "pop", and the lens came out, leaving yet another broken frame.
Neither me nor my wife have ever had anything like this happen with a pair of glasses we've owned. This is poor workmanship, and since it's been over a year, there's nothing my wife can do about it but buy her next pair of glasses from someone else.
I am really disappointed about the product from this company and how they treat their customer. We pay, they make money and if it goes wrong, f the customer.
I've bought a pair in late october 2016. I always have been really gentle with these glasses. I usually wear them before going to bed to read few chapters. I let them near my bed. My first pair broke four months after getting them. The upper part on the left corner broke. There was no shock, no falling, it just broke between my hands. I was taking them off. That's it. No trauma.
I wrote them an email and after SEVERAL DAYS I've got a response from the company. They will send me another pair for the shipping fees. They can replace it only one time.
It seems fair. As soon as I get them, I try to not use them as much as I woule because I'm kind of scare of what could be happening.
I use them as always. I don't wear them on a daily basis. After another four months, they break again...
This time, I'm getting upset. Two pairs in less than a year. I write them again.

AMAZING. They send me two pairs over nine months. They broke both of them and they want me to pay again to get another one. I know their policy but it's clearly not normal that glasses can only last for four months. I know that I didn't pay 400 bucks but come on, it's unbelievable than product are not make to least more than two or three years...
It took 1 week for my glasses to arrive and they were bent. After sending pics to CS, they said they would send me new ones. However, they WOULD NOT offer expedited shipping unless I paid an extra $23! Of course I declined. It's been ANOTHER 1 week already and my new pair STILL HASN'T SHIPPED. It's the same frame and prescription as the bent ones.

I measured my PD wrong when ordering my glasses. After emailing customer service less than 30 minutes afterwards, they told me that pupillary distance wouldn't matter. My glasses came and I can't even wear them for more than an hour without getting a terrible migraine. Save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere where the workers actually know what they're talking about.

Very impressed by service and quality. I shopped around for about two weeks to find the best price with all my requested options(progressive, transition, polarized), and EyeBuyDirect had the prices of their competitors beat by $100.
Ordered the evening of July 4th, and glasses arrived July 11th. Will buy again from them, not only because of their pricing, but also the quality of the product they delivered.
Returned a pair of silver line with uneven bifocils. At first I was told I could not return them and then was contacted with e mail to return them and sent a mail in address. That was very nice and it took a month for them to be returned. The drilling on the lens was exactly the same as the pair I sent back, exactly 1/16 off on exactly the same lens. That seems impossible, so here is what happened, they returned the origional glasses thinking I would not notice. This is at least ten pairs of glasses we have purchased with no complaints. Just so you know that I know. Will keep them.
I received my order within 1.5 weeks of ordering. I suspect reviewers who had longer shipment times had more complex orders or specific requests for their lenses. The glasses were good quality, and came in beautiful packaging. I also recommend the glasses cases that they sell. Great price -- much better than buying in most stores. Will definitely be making another purchase next time I need new glasses.
I bought the MINUIT sunglasses; the whole process of getting them- went to where I got my prescription done and asked for a print out of my prescription (they legally have to give you one if you ask b/c it is your medical record, fyi!), then picked out a pair of glasses after using the virtual try on with my mac webcam, stuck it in my cart and put in my prescription which is super simple, hit order and received eyebuydirect's courteous email updates about the making and shipping process and what was happening with my pair of glasses, They came in the mail in 5 days, exactly as the website says in a lovely little box full equipped with in a scratch resistant bag and a little screw tool for the the side screws incase they fall off. The glasses themselves are great, lenses are awesome (clear, absolutely no imperfections, and no glare lenses). The price is such a bonus to the whole package. I have already recommended this website service to friends and family. 10/10!

I've bought prescription glasses from this company several times over the last 5 years, never a disappointment. I've had to return a pair before, the return service was simple. You get what you pay for in terms of quality; if the frames are cheap compared to other frames from EBD, the build quality will be cheap. I'd recommend them, you're not rolling a dice, your order arrives promptly and in the allotted timeframe.
They said it would take MAXIMUM up to 10 business days, and in most cases getting in 4 business days. It has been 13 business days, and while they do pick up the phone, all they can tell me it is "my order is in process". I am not happy about going this long without being able to see!

Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
