I've bought glasses for from EyeBuyDirect Twice before and I like the styles and the price range, it's not too insane like some other places, but the material quality seems to be lacking. The last pair I bought from EyeBuyDirect broke within 4 months, which is odd considering the first pair I bought from this company lasted me for two full years until i git my new prescription. So, I'm wondering if it was a fluke or if they've recently lowered their standards on quality. I guess lucky pair number three will tell me.

Just placed my second order at EyeBuyDirect. Two pairs of prescription glasses for under $50 is almost unheard of. The site is easy to navigate, I absolutely love the try on tool and my first order came in just under a week! The prescription was perfect, my glasses have lasted, too. Although, I can definitely tell the difference in quality between a $30 frame and a $9 one, you pay what you get for. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try out a new style or switch up their glasses look on a daily basis. No reason to spend $100+ on one pair of glasses, when a gem site like this exists!

Pleased with the styles and price, but a little frustrated that two pairs have broken easily. I will say that they replaced them, but then broke again. I was impressed by the replacement at no charge (just shipping). I've ordered a third pair and trying out metal frames to hopefully be more durable.
This is my second purchase from eyebuydirect and I am very satisfied with the options of frames that they have as well as the 14 day trial option. Returning is such an easy process too! I bought from lens crafters once and the lenses were such bad quality which led me to this website and I'm so glad I found it! They have better quality frames and lenses than a very well known company. I will always buy my glasses from eyebuydirect.
The mobile version of the site is extremely poor and has a lot of bugs. Editing the shipping address function doesn't work, adding a new address is a huge ordeal as the cursor doesn't land on the blank field at all. I would strongly recommend you to invest in improving the site
This is my first purchase and i am looking forward to receiving the glasses. The are affordable and the images provided gave me a good sense of what the will be looking like.The ease of the website made it easy to filter through what i thought would look good on me.
I kind of didn't like the lack of selection for frames, but eventually I did find something I liked and thought $25 was very reasonable for the frame I picked out. In my opinion it's much better than being stuck with the crappy frames my insurance pays for these days.

The frames are light, almost like they're not there - and the lens quality is astonishing. I got progressives, sometimes hard to get right, and they totally nailed it. The options I added were the transitions-type lenses that cost less than half what the name-brand Transitions cost and they're faster and achieve a deeper tone than the more expensive name brand. I also got glare-free and scratch proof, all for $125 including shipping. Love these folks! Thank you for making GOOD glasses affordable again.
I have ordered approximately 15 to 20 frames from this company over the past 5 years, and have never had any complaints whatsoever. While it is of course a little difficult to choose your glasses on a web site, I was surprised that every frame was just as expected (or better), and they have held up quite well (given that I tend to opt for the cheaper frames, that was a very pleasant surprise). I started ordering multiple frames, e.g. spares and sunglasses in the same order. Earlier this year, I even ordered a special prescription that would allow me to read my music sheets at 3 foot distance perfectly, without all the transition issues now that my eyes are getting a bit tougher. To my pleasant surprise, I received an Email within about a day where somebody in the order process had noted that I had ordered glasses that were significantly different from my regular prescription. I just confirmed by Email that this modification was indeed what I needed for a special purpose, and when I received the glasses a week later, they were perfect for the purpose. Quality control seems to be really good with this company, and I was positively surprised that they pay close attention to the order. Compared to the last optometrist I bought glasses from, this was very pleasant. In the brick and mortar store (FourEyes, I believe), they first swapped left and right, then they put the transitions 8mm too high and I could only see things when putting my chin on my chest, and it took me 5 weeks to get those glasses right. From EyeBuyDirect, everything was right the first time. Keep up the great work.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
