Their returns policy is that you have 14 days to return your items upon receiving them. While this is partially true, they mislead their customers, it is actually 28 days total. When receiving an online order, you have 14 days to decide and let the seller know you no longer want the items after you receive the order, then a further 14 days AFTER that to actually send the items back for a refund.
Also, as per their returns policy, they have decided they have the right to keep your delivery fee. This is ILLEGAL. If you have purchased the order with the standard delivery option, the seller LEGALLY HAS TO REFUND THIS TO YOU. The only time they don't, is if you pay extra for delivery outside of the standard option.

I will be contacting them regarding this, and if I fail to get anywhere with them, I will be contacting Citizens Advice and taking this matter further with their help.
The site sent me a refund for items I ordered. I than paid duty for a package from them addressed to me only to find it contained items I did not and would never order. While they will refund me for the items I ordered I will see if they will pay the duty for a incorrecttly addressed shipment. Its an international order so it will cost me again to return.
At least 9 items were faulty/ not fit for purpose (with a number of them being to see through to wear in public!). Liliana from customer service debated multiple times and rejected the other 3 so I had to include with the other items that didn't fit well. I also raised this to Senior Advisor Michael that this is against Consumer Rights act 2015 - he told me to raise directly to Consumer Rights.
I also had a number of items that didn't fit/ looked different to the website and sent it back whilst paying delivery costs as Liliana told me to. They received it and kept it for a week and upon chasing Michael lied about it being lost in the post (even with proof from courier), only for them to reject and return the goods. I was exercising my right to a 14 day cooling off period as per Consumer contracts regulation 2013. Michael is saying that the goods have to also be sent within the 14 day cooling off period which is incorrect. The order was delivered on 10th May and I raised this to them on 18th May even though they keep disputing it. I am now out of pocket sending back the goods to them.
Huge disappointment. Will not buy again or recommend. Sizing is an absolute joke. An L or XL is no bigger than a UK10!. It was like opening children's clothes. Very poor quality. Been shopping online for 20 years & this is the worst experience. Anyone giving 4/5 * is easily pleased or have extremely low standards. Poor customer service as many others have said. They told me they pass on their staff & warehouse charges to the customer for p & p!As a business you cannot pass on your own packing, stationery costs to the customer. These costs, are absorbed by your own profits & it's not for the customer to subsidise these costs. Regardless of the item price the p & p should be fair & accurate. In thos instance its more than double which is extortionate in my opinion.
Let me start with the fact that I am a Ukrainian war refugee, and I left my country with a small bag having a dress, two sweaters, and shoes. Clearly, I am in need of some clothes, and because I have no money, the cheaper they are, the better. Hence, I decided to try my luck with Everything5Pounds.
I placed an order on 24.08, and the next day I got an email saying that my order has been dispatched. But that was the last piece of good news. Since 25.08, there is no update on the delivery status whatsoever. When I enter the tracking number, all I see is "We've received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel". It is 07.09 now, almost two weeks since my order has been 'shipped', and the shipping company hasn't even received it.
When I try to reach the support team, I have no replies. The ticket *******, which I created a week ago, has been ignored, so is the ticket *******. It seems to me that nobody was going to ship my order. They just took my money and pretend that I don't exist. Congratulation, Everything5Pounds, you just fooled a war refugee, you can be proud of yourself.
Summing up:
Shipping prices are extortionate (52 euro order cost 22 euro to ship to the country that provided me a refuge, which is Austria)
Customer experience is zero. Nobody replied to my emails.
If somebody from the company is reading this, do you want to provide any comments regarding my order GE*******082GB?
I was a bit wary of ordering from this website after reading some of the reviews, but my experience has been fantastic. Every single item I have liked and the size has been good. The quality has been better than expected and the delivery pretty quick. I haven't as yet had to return anything, but having ordered three times now if I get anything that isn't what I want I'll probably just take it to the charity shop. Personally I would recommend this site.
Paid for next day delivery, items never arrived. Royal Mail tracking states they are still with the company but when I email for help they just send the same unhelpful response. I have no idea where the order is or when it will arrive. They won't refund the postage I paid for next day even though they don't provide the service promised. Would like a simple answer for where my order is and when to expect it hit can't seem to give me a proper answer just the same automated replies
I returned 3 faulty/broken products, and never recieved a refund. I can see that they received the items back weeks ago. They dont reply to emails either, just steal your money. Stay away
So I noticed that they actually charge me 5.57 GBP per item ( no I am not talking about shipping, shipping is about 19 GBP to where I am on top of that) and I didn't notice this for the last 5 years because I am shopping from outside of UK and must select another currency. I only noticed this because a friend told me that she thought that it is dodgy that they don't let customers from abroad select GBP as preferred currency to display. I think that they should be a bit more honest about this. Anyhow, still quite affordable and they are shipped from the UK so you have some comfort that they're probably at least correctly sized. I ordered around 20 items, bits of everything, shoes, clothes, accessories. A lot of them has this mouldy smell of things left in moist storage, but I guess it is expected of this kind of leftover sales. Gave them all a hot wash twice and hung them in the sun and they're good to go for me. I have gotten some surprisingly nice shoes I probably would have paid triple for as well, so they are not all bad. They need to be more careful cutting tag on neck because 1 had a puncture hole, but I have long hair so I decided not to fuss about it this time, since I had bigger problems. I had problem with 3 items, 1 was not in there(in fact the order history in my account showed that they indeed did not send it to me as that item was not changing to status shipped when everything else was) and 2 were wrong item or wrong description on site(which they did agree and refund for but never corrected, it's still wrong on the site). Fortunately I pay with paypal, so after I didn't get more than an automated reply from contacting them through their own site, I wrote them through resolution center and after writing back and forth and sending photos, I was refunded. 5 years ago my first order never came, and it's still processing to this day.
Shocking lying robbing company
I would give this company a zero score if I could. Disgusting, cheap, poorly made clothing and shoes. They also lie and don't refund you. Shipping costs a fortune too which is where they make most their money. They also don't ship you're entire order, always 2 or 3 items missing. When you complain they promise you a refund which you will never see. They lie, cheat and ignore you. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY EVERYONE! I've now reported them to trading standard's after sending over 25 emails to Everything 5 pounds and got ignored following promises they made to refund me due to their errors!
I bought a bunch of stuff from everything5pounds and I'm pleased with my items. I bought two pairs of shoes and usually I wear a size 5 UK but the site told me to measure my feet and I'm happy it did because I went up a size and the shoes fit perfectly. One arrived with some dents but they're barely noticable and therefore nothing to dock points off for. I also got a couple of clothing items and they're all a great bargain. The materials are in point and the summer items are thin but not sheer. Please check out my pics for an idea of what they sell. I even added a pic of the scratched shoes from the scratch angle so you can get what I mean by barely noticable.
They missed an item of my order. I asked for the item to be forwarded or refunded. Mailed them 5-6 times, never heard from them, and of course they have never refunded the missing item...
This is the second time that they mess up an order. Last time it was a stained shirt which couldn't be cleaned. Never got a refund and never heard from them, despite mailing them many times with photos of the stained shirt.
Their clothes are cheap, and the quality is not great. Very often the clothes smell moldy and dirty, or arrive wrinkled and stained. And If they mess up your order, don't expect to get your money refunded or that they will sort it out.
I will surely never buy from them again...
I bought 4 items and received only 3, I have emailed the company 4 times with no response so they have left me with no choice but to come here and leave a review. It is just £5 worth of an item but it is my £5 not yours- it's not just about the money, it's mainly your attitude - not even a receipt of acknowledgement of my email, you do not value your customers and you have no integrity or decency and this is the last order I will ever place with your company! I have unsubscribed from your emails so do not want to have anything to do with an untrustworthy company like your anymore.
I also returned 4 items and they claimed not to receive any of the items!
I'm not done yet...
This company sent me a email confirmation of an item I did not even order. I just saw the email in my junk email dated 1st of June 2018, I presume they have deducted money from bank for this... I have send them an email chasing clarification --- I won't hold my breath!
They sent me faulty items which I returned recently... I have not seen any confirmation of refund. Again,--- I won't hold my breath!
Last one, I promise...
I ordered an item and payment was taken, they out of blues cancelled the items with no explanation or reason, I sent another email seeking reason for the cancellation... well I guess at this point you can complete the sentence for me...
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! BUY FROM PRIMARK IF YOU WANT AFFORABLE CLOTHING IT IS NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE AND STRESS!
The inventory seems to be made up of overstock, deadstock, etc, which is reassuring. I ordered three tops and three dresses. The dresses are as expected- true to size, color, and not badly made. I sized up on the tops as they aren't stretchy but it turns out I didn't need to. They did send me one shirt in the wrong color, but what I got is ok and I don't want to take on the effort and cost of exchanging. It shipped promptly considering I'm in the United States.
All in all, I'll likely shop here again, but not for staples.
I have ordered items from everything5pounds thrice.
The first time was a haul of shoes. Some were £5, some were on sale for around £2. They arrived three days later than expected, but I put that down to the post office being slow. The shoes were all very good quality. The sizes were accurate and they last very well for the price, definitely recommend buying shoes from them.
The second time was a pair of shoes and a plain-ish looking sweater. These two arrived on time. The shoes were good as expected, however the jumper had some sparkling looking thread running through it, which wasn't the worst thing in the world, but I didn't see this detail mentioned anywhere on the site.
My third order from them came today on time. It was a clothing haul, all items brought on sale for half price. It was clear to me beforehand that they buy of out-season clothing from larger retail chains and small independence shops. However the overall quality was questionable (think of the random shop in town that sell those sorts of dresses that look white when stretched, 90% of the clothes were like that). I think they thought they could fool me by selling me a top for £2.50 which I have definitely seen before on sale in Primark for £1.50 (Likely my error, I know) Many of the clothes are cheap looking which is understandable but I don't recommend buying your whole wardrobe from them.
For the third haul, I tried to find the refund policy (too many clothes I didn't like). Maybe not surprising, it's written in a small, faint grey font, only to be found at a link at the very base of the page. I gave up reading through it. Refund policy needs to be much clearer and set out much more organised.
Overall, go for footwear, avoid the clothes.
I've ordered from E5£ for a few years and have always been satisfied. Lots to chose from and shipping is perfect as they supply the tracking number and you can check where it is. If you supply them with your mobile number you'll get a text from the royal mail letting you know they'll deliver that day.
I'm hooked on this site lol always checking it to grab a one off bargain! Super fast delivery and they refund both the item and delivery charges on request. I've grabbed so_0 many bargains... well worth a browse... hi-five e5!
WOO why try anywhere else! Learnt my lesson from the rubbish i received from fashionmia! WHEREAS these guys at everything a fiver. Ladies varsity jackets EXCELLENT! Value
For 5 pounds you really can't go wrong very quick delivery to Ireland the only thing is delivery is a bit expensive but if you buy 4+ items it is well worth it the quality of the clothes I have received has been brilliant I have also bought shoes and handbags and I have been very surprised at just how good the quality is
Have made several orders with this company and have always been impressed with the quality of items and the price.
I have had a few issues when items are shown as available on website which are subsequently sold out when I try and complete checkout.
Professional customer service team who offered immediate free collection when incorrect item was shipped and arranged replacements quickly.
Answer: In my experience shopping from within the EU, they've been pretty fast, as in items arriving in a couple of weeks
Answer: I think that we're all used to getting free shipping from online purchases, but that's just the cost distributed to each item's price. I think that they need to take full shipping because of the way they price their items. But if you are buying outside of the UK, and shop in different currency, they're taking something like 5.56 GBP from you per item (check the currency you pay in to GBP in Google, I've tested this with several currencies on their site and they're all a bit under 5.60GBP), so then depending on how many items you order, you might feel like shipping charged in full is too much and I feel you.
