I've purchased a few dresses from eshakti and this one was just gorgeous and perfect. Fit like a glove and I got so many compliments!

As a plus size woman finding well fitting clothes can be very difficult and stressful. Not anymore now that I have found Eshakti/Zapelle. My first experience has been really good. I ordered a few things after giving in my body measurements and when the clothes arrived they were slightly too big for me so I sent them pictures and they did a full re-make of my stuff for me the 2nd lot fit me like a glove I was so excited I wore them immediately for a party and I got lots of compliments I'm so happy with my new clothes that I plan to buy lots more. They are superior quality fit and style custom made for you.

Shakti offers great product and customization for difficult sizes, but beware if you don't live in the USA. The website said free returns, but it's only for items posted in the US. My customized order didn't fit properly and to return it I had to pay for my own postage return as well as lose money on the customizing fees, duties, and foreign exchange. All in all I was out quite a sum of money.

I ordered a dress for myself for my daughter's wedding. I ordered it on Aug 1st and received it on Aug 29th - 10 days late. Needless to say I had to wear a different dress, one I already had. I also ordered a dress for my other daughter on Aug 1st - the Floral Print Chiffon dress. This dress didn't arrive on time either. I was out shopping two days before the wedding to buy a dress for my daughter to wear. I also wouldn't have ordered it if I had known it was a sheer shell - not a dress. Unlined does not mean completely sheer and completely see-through. Completely useless and we would have had to provide another dress for underneath what we ordered from eShakti. I sent an email around Aug 11th asking for an update on the order and didn't receive a reply back until a few days later on Aug 13th stating the delay of the order would be looked into. I received another email on the day of the wedding (Aug 19th) asking me to reply back with the item I needed and maybe the order could be expedited. Too late. Ten days late is unacceptable. Late replies are unacceptable.

This dress was for a special event out-of-state, so I ordered in July knowing I would need it in-hand no later than August 17th. I felt relief & excitement in eShakti's confidence sending me a confirmation on 8/1 with a specific arrive-by date, "You can expect to receive it by 8/14/2022."

I did not receive any tracking information until August 17th, and the dress was delivered on the 19th. Had I known eShakti couldn't commit to the delivery date that they set, I wouldn't have proceeded with this order.

Now that I'm home from my trip, I've tried the dress on and I really do like it! The dress itself gets 5 stars. Materials & style are just as advertised, very well made, all special instructions were followed, it fits me very well, and it's good to know a service like this exists when it can be very difficult finding affordable, well-made plus size clothing. I'll figure out another use for this dress as the special event it was intended for has come and gone but I do like it. I would order from eShakti again, but way further in advance...

I've ordered from eShakti many times over the past three years and enjoyed my dresses a lot. I've also had many compliments. I'd say I have an 85% success rate, have only returned a few things over the years and the customer service has been good. I have ordered the standard sizes, done custom sizing, and fabric customization, all with good results. I think it is important that you have a good sense of what colours, styles and shapes suit you and your body type best for the most successful result. The value and quality are really excellent.
