The dress was very cute, well made, loved especially the quality of the fabric, just as I wanted. Finally the dress was exactly as on the picture. Just a recommendation for who will buy first time on Eshakti: please order one size up or just provide your own sizing info. The possibility of size customization is a great service Eshakti offers.

I have ordered about 10 dresses from eShakti over the past six months and returned about half of them. The return process has gotten easier since they started including return labels in the packages. If you request a merchandise credit, it is generally processed in a reasonable amount of time once they receive your return items. BUT, if you request a refund to your credit card, you will have to chase it down. I have requested three refunds. One was processed in about 30 days after one reminder. One was processed in about 30 days after two reminders. A third refund has not been processed yet - it has been 50 days and I have sent three emails.

I am returning items that I think are of lesser quality. Some of the dresses are great.

I feel like this is MY store, I have gained a lot of weight in the past year due to health conditions and getting used to finding things that fit my body at it's current state and make me feel confident is sometimes hard! Something I love about EShakti is that you have a lot of beautiful styles and I can customize based on what I feel best in. I'm also religious, and in my church we value modesty in dress and appearance. As part of my faith we wear clothing always knee length or longer, and with sleeves. It's amazing that I can still choose fashionable styles, without looking dowdy. It's really empowering. Both dresses were beautiful colors and styles, and HIGH quality! These dresses are sometimes an investment and more than I would normally spend, but with the coupons are very doable, and with the ability to customize they are even better. I normally have to take my clothes to a tailor anyways, and it's great that I can fit them to my height already.

I've been looking for a very long time for the perfect LBD. Now I've got two - a cotton jersey for everyday use and a cotton poplin for dressed up occasion, thanks to eShakti.
I've ordered twice from eShakti. Both times I asked for a quick delivery, because eShakti doesn't deliver where I live so I had my dresses delivered to my aunt just before she came for a visit. I asked eShakti for a shorter delivery time so my aunt could get my dresses before leaving, and both times the dresses arrived about 4-5 days before the deadline.
I was a bit concerned about the custom tailoring and wondered how they could sew the dresses according to my measurements without even seeing me, but the moment I tried on the first dress I realised it was a perfect fit!
Being able to choose the neckline, length and sleeve length of dresses is a great feature, since I'm well aware of the necklines that flatter me and wear modest dresses.
Given that the fabrics' quality, the sewing and attention to details are excellent, that the dresses are made to fit the customer's height and that you have the possibility to customize your dress, I find the prices and the delivery time very reasonable.
Moreover, the service is excellent. I've driven the service customer service crazy with my worries about the delivery time and with DHL issues (for the first delivery) and they were very patient and helpful.
I hope eShakti will start delivering to my country soon!

After ordering 3 dresses from here, I can proudly say I am a regular shopper on this site. The outfits displayed and even the models they use is something I can relate with while thinking how a particular outfit will look when I wear it. One of the best features is the customization section, which clearly lists out how to take measurements for each body part. The options to customize sleeves, neck and dress length is welcome. Yes, the wait sometimes can test our patience, but it is worth it. When you get back the dresses made to enhance you and then proudly wear it to show it off at social gatherings. You will be complimented. I noticed this time with my order, I got a small note listing the names of the people who worked on my dress; I think that is worth appreciating when a company acknowledges the true makers of the dress. I definitely recommend this store.

EShakti produces clothing in a wide range of sizes (including plus sizes) that can be customized. You can choose sizes (fit to your measurements or standard sizes), length of skirts and sleeves, necklines, and even mix and match the fabric from one dress with the design of another. As a curvy, plus sized woman, I find that eShakti dresses provide the best fit ever, plus they have clothing in natural fiber fabrics and nice deep POCKETS! Their prices are amazingly reasonable and they deliver within a couple of weeks. When I suggest that they make a certain type of clothing, they often pay attention to my feedback and make just what I had in mind! It really doesn't get better than this!

I needed a dress for a wedding and I was hesitant about buying online. I had purchased a dress from a different site and it was horrendous, but I thought Id give this a go as the customisation appealed to me and I thought that if the dress is made to my measurements it cant go wrong. I just used the service for the first time and am amazed! I don't love shopping as I am curvy and standard sizes never seem to fit right. Being able to enter my measurements and for a very small fee get a size custom fit exactly for my body was fantastic! I was amazed at the quality and the quick turnaround time to receive the item. I'm not sure what made me first decide to try eShakti. I think the fact that their dresses were completely customizable may have been the thing that did it. I ordered my first dress, and when it came I was blown away. I received non-stop compliments. Not only was it unique in style, the quality was impeccable. It was a cotton plaid dress, fully lined, and the plaid even matched up at the seams.
Since that first dress, I've ordered at least eleven more for myself and at least three for my daughter. My husband knows I love the company so much that he got me a $400 gift card for eShakti for Christmas. It may have been my favorite gift I've ever received (you know, outside of sentimental gifts made for me by my kiddos). I was so excited by my gift that my very smart husband got me another eShakti gift card for my birthday in February.
I seriously rave about this company non-stop because I love them. I want the world to know about them so that they never go out of business.

It was great to see that they had the option to select your size or custom with your measurements. I chose custom with my measurements. My dress arrived and it was beautiful and fit perfectly.
