I've never had anything I've ordered online fit me so perfectly! I'm 5'3" so it's difficult to find dresses/skirts that aren't too long. I put my Eshakti skirt on as soon as it arrived and it fit so perfectly. The construction of the garment is top quality and the fabric isn't too heavy or too light. The only down side is the fact that they went past their 14-17 day timeline but I contacted customer service, told them I needed it for a certain date and it made it just in time. It's like getting a tailored piece without dealing with the tailor! Definitely shopping there again!

This dress was late and the customer service over the phone was able to clarify that the dress had been taken twice to quality approval. I realized that the company was really careful about the product. When I received the dress, wow... Impressive. Just impressive. The most beautiful dress I ever had as far as I can remember: fabric, incredible fitting, attention to details. I am so thankful for the effort. So thankful. No more settle for dresses that because they fit. I am thankful for the hard work of this company. Now I can dress what I actually like and makes me feel beautiful.

Had a terrible experience with eShakti. Bought a dress for $60, didn't fit well so I decided to return. Sent back and had to pay $25 to ship to US. After a long time after dress was received, I contacted customer care as the refund was taking too long for someone to tell me they were only returning $25 back to my account. This means that I pretty much threw $60 in the garbage if you take into consideration that I had to ship back from my money. I asked then for the lady then to at least give me store credit for full amount and instead she just returned $25 to my paypal account.

I've been telling good things about you to everyone I know. My boyfriend loves my new dresses too! It takes a bit of time to make the custom sized dresses, which is understandable of course - and a couple of weeks is not that long all things considered. But the delivery is really quick once they're shipped. I've gotten 4 dresses so far and I can't wait to get more! The eShakti company was recommended to me by a couple of my friends who had been pleased with their purchases. I was having difficulty finding a dress I liked that fit me properly, so I ordered a custom-made dress from the eShakti website. I picked a dress with fabric and colors that I liked, I changed the sleeve length and neckline style, and I entered my measurements. They make the dresses in New Delhi, India, and it was delivered to my door in Georgia (USA) just 10 days after placing my order. I am very pleased with it. The fabric and colors are just what I wanted. The dress is well made and fully lined, with good attention to details. The best thing is that it fits nicely and looks pretty. I have already ordered another one, and I plan to make this my first stop whenever I need a new dress.

After reading the amazing reviews online, I decided to order 3 expensive dresses from eShakti a while ago. After waiting for a couple of weeks, only 1 of the dresses arrived in the box. No note came with the dress and the dress itself was crumpled up and was made from a seriously poor quality. The other two dresses were never even delivered! When I tried to get in touch with the customer service representatives, no one bothered getting back to me. So, I've basically paid a small fortune only to get nothing in return.

All in all, a painful and expensive mistake - never ordering from them again!

I've purchased 3 dresses from eShakti so far, and I've been very pleased with the quality of all of them! I struggled a little to find the right fit -- based on the size chart, I went up a size from what I'd usually buy in stores. I could've stuck with my normal size, though, and I did after the first dress. I think that will vary depending on the cut of the dress, though; I sized down for an a-line, but probably wouldn't for a sheath. The shipping takes some time, but I knew that going in, and it has come within the time frame every time. I will definitely be ordering again in the future!

I want dresses that cover my upper arms and my knees and are comfortable to wear. I can get all that at eShakti. I just ordered my first two dresses. On one I adjusted the sleeves and neckline, on the other just the sleeves. The dresses are better than I envisioned them from looking at the website. They are well made. All the seams are finished! One of the dresses is fully lined. This is the kind of tailoring I haven't had since my mother and grandmother stopped sewing for me. No more searching websites and catalogs. I can get what I want from eShakti. Furthermore, I requested that the dresses be delivered 4 days before my trip to Europe, which was a little tight given that they were being altered and sent from India. The dresses arrived 7 days before the date I'd requested (or 11 days before my flight). And when I wear the dresses I get compliments from strangers!
