Firstly, the website was hard work. I also gave up bothering to order (and wish I had) but I persisted and finally the order was successful. Then when the parcel arrived, all the clothes were so badly packed, you needed a steamer to properly view them and the quality of fabric was lacking in most of the garments. But my biggest challenge has been sending stuff back. No returns label included, it's been over a week and 6 emails and an expensive phone call to the USA and STILL no emailed returns label. Utterly dreadful service. Never experienced anything like it. Would not recommend.

I have ordered a grand total of six dresses from eShakti. With the exception of one that had to be cancelled by the company because they ran out of the fabric (which I was disappointed to hear, but they did notify me in a timely and professional manner and refunded my money immediately), each time I have been exceptionally happy with the product. I always use the size + height chart along with a general idea of how I want the garment to fit (want a length slightly between two skirt options, pick a size up or down, etc) and have yet to go astray doing so. The main reason I started using eShakti, though, was for the ability to customize the appearance of the dress. I am especially a fan of being able to mix-and-match fabric and design. And, when an accident occurred with a dress I particularly love that resulted in a hole being burned in the fabric, all I had to do was email them and (for a small additional charge) they were willing to send me a swatch that I could use to fix the defect. There is a significant wait for the products, but it has reduced significantly since I first started ordering, and, even before the quicker turn around times, I have always found the results to be more than worth the wait!

I have ordered 3 x 2 garments from E shakti. Very happy with the quality, style and attention to detail, e.g. a strap to attach to your bra so that it doesn't show. This last time I ordered exactly my custom sizes. I didn't get that... BUT when I asked, they send me a custom made one straight away as it was obviously someone's mistake for taking the previous standard sizing. Absolutely love the styles and get many compliments. The materials I bought are for winter in Australia but great as such. Next I will try the Chambray's. Very appreciative of the service

You can't go wrong with eShakti! I was having a hard time finding a dress for my daughters wedding until i looked at eShakti. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for and I am thrilled. I had it made to my measurements. The sewing was impeccable and will come back again for sure! The customer service was outstanding and it came before the said it would everything was great. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks for being so wonderful

I can not say enough positive things about eshakti. The selection, plentiful, the size choices, for all body types, the quality, every stitch in place, the photos, enlarges and shown at all views, sales change weekly when you are a frequent shopper the amount of amenities keep you ordering "just one more". So far, I have purchased and kept 13 dresses in 2018 alone, I can't wait to see my closet in 2019/

This is an update to my review from almost a year ago. Over the past few months, I have restarted ordering again from Eshakti. I did this for a couple of reasons. First, I had credit with them from past orders. Secondly, when I have had dresses work out, they have been really great.

So, I've had some luck again with the company. My biggest issue last year was in the handling of returns. So far, everything has been working smoothly. No more chasing refunds -- thank goodness. It was really stressful last year.

The dresses have been a hit or miss, but mostly hits. My latest complaints: boat necklines have been all wrong -- all too high; some colors have not been the same as online (white v off white); and wrap dresses that were made way too large.

On the good side, the quality of the dresses are very nice. The prices for what you get are very reasonable especially when you buy on promotion. Like many reviewers, I do get AWESOME compliments on the dresses. Having the dresses custom made creates a very flattering fit especially for a full figured woman like myself.

Overall, I would recommend Eshakti.

After years of drooling over Eshakti ads, I finally found a dress on sale and made my first order. I am so glad I did. The fabrics and craftmanship are absolutely worth the expense (I'm a thrift store/TJ Maxxx shopper, I know they're not THAT expensive, but it's a lot to me!). I will definitely be looking to EShakti first, from now on, when I need clothes. My customer service rep Gina replied to my email inquiry within 24 hours, I received tracking info as soon as the item shipped, and it arrived weeks earlier than it was supposed to. The fabric (a floral yellow) absolutely matches the photo - and they put bra strap holders in the shoulders! The waist is all smocking and not very flattering, but the rest of the dress is so beautiful I don't care. Thank you pattern maker Rajeev, cutter Sadadam, tailor Rana, and quality assurer Havendea (Haredea?). It is a beautiful dress and you all are very talented!
