I love eShakti. I first purchased a dress from them about a year and a half ago, and then shortly after that, my family went on a 1 year long camping expedition. I wore that dress more than any other item of clothing throughout the entire year, through dirt and rough conditions, and yet it still looks brand-new! The quality is impeccable. I can get long dresses where I cannot get them anywhere else (I'm very short). Also, I am able to wear things that are in accord with my style, which is rather unique and old-fashioned, in a way. The only thing that can be a little frustrating, is that it does take rather long to get the dress after you order it--but that is to be expected, since they are making it for you. (: I just purchased two more dresses from them recently, and both of them are perfect as well.

I have to say that I'm blown away by my experience with Eshakti! The customer service from the beginning was stellar. When I gave the wrong measurements, they followed up immediately by email, and when I called to clarify, the lady who answered the phone knew exactly what was going on and why they needed new measurements. I then got a follow-up email assuring me that they got all the correct measurements from me and have added them to my file. The clothes came quickly and they are top notch fabric and construction and the custom fit is beautiful! I'm not sure I will shop anywhere else for clothes now!

When it comes to dresses there is no better option at these price points. If you have a figure outside industry standards there is no better option at these price points. Did you ever imagine you could afford clothing tailored specifically to your figure and preferences? I didn't, but I do now. I can't be sure but it honestly seems like they learn my body better with every order. If you've been waiting due to doubts, take the plunge, you won't regret it.

I have ordered two dresses on two separate occasions, and I have been pleased both times. I ordered a standard size 8 both times, but I did make custom changes to both dresses (sleeve, length, etc.).
Both dresses fit as expected, had good quality fabric, and were well sewn and styled. I would typically expect to pay much more for dresses of these quality, especially with custom tailoring. Additionally, my dresses shipped quickly both times, and I received up-to-date email communication during the shipping process. I can't speak on others' experiences with sizing, but mine were spot on.

I wish my lifestyle allowed for me to wear dresses several times a week. If it did, I'd buy a bunch more dresses from eShakti. What a wonderful idea to allow women to send in their specific measurements for customized dresses! The one I bought fits me perfectly and is very flattering. Love it! Ignore the white flecks in the picture (a bit of spatter on my mirror) and keep in mind that I hadn't ironed the dress yet after its arrival, so it would look even more lovely after that bit of attention.
