My niece is having a black tie wedding this summer. Being the casual girl I am, I didn't have an appropriate dress. I looked for weeks without luck. Then I stumbled upon the online eShakti site & found a lot of options. I chose my dress, entered my measurements they requested & ordered. The dress was delivered earlier than promised, was beautiful & fit perfectly! My friends declared it a perfect 10! Most importantly, I feel beautiful in it!

Similarly to the other negative reviews here, I ordered a custom dress which did not fit me at all. I took my measurements again and they had not changed. The dress was almost falling off of me. Getting in touch with their customer service by email is a nightmare. I had to bug the heck out of them to get anything done and when they finally offered me a solution after two weeks of back and forth I could not trust them to deliver on time since it took that long just to come to a solution and I had engagement photos coming up shortly. Their solution involved sending me a muslin version of the dress, me giving feedback on the fit of that, and then having someone in India try to make the dress again based off of my feedback on how the muslin fit. I have serious doubts about how well that would work as a process and also how long it would take. When I finally called to ask for a refund, the customer service agent was snooty and obnoxious and made the whole mess sound like it was my fault somehow. It took another call for me to finally get a refund, and that refund was $25 short of what I paid for the garment that I had literally no use for and had to send back. I'm not normally hard to please or picky--the quality of the fabric was fine and the dress was the right cut--it just did not fit, which is not acceptable for a custom garment. I was polite right up until the snooty customer service person. Also, the fact that they won't allow reviews on Facebook is really telling. I know the good reviews outweigh the bad here but I would never ever use this company again or recommend them to anyone else because getting a refund on a product that is not what it claimed to be should not be an uphill battle with weeks of emails and phone calls and obnoxious company reps.

I have always struggled to find clothing that fit me perfectly, as my measurements aren't 'conventional'. I was a little skeptical that a dress I could have tailored to my body shape, and choose hem, neck and sleeve style, but I was incredibly impressed - not to mention, POCKETS! I now have 2 beautiful dresses which fit me perfectly. No spot is too loose or too tight, and I will definitely be ordering from eShakti again soon!

I've never tried anything out of my brands. When I was looking for the particular pattern and color, I was redirected to eshakti from facebook. I gave it a try and the delivery was fast, the fitting is awesome, the fabric and pattern is same as rachel roy collections. Love overall experience, I placed my second order(looks like calvin klein design) on the same day of my first order delivery. I cannot thank eShakti enough for their amazing product and service. I'm in my mid-forties and had to attend a black tie affair for work. I tried for a month to find a suitable dress in the stores and online, but everything was either too young for me or too revealing for a work event. I was able to customize a dress with a modest bust-line and 3/4 length sleeves- and best of all I was able to get it to fit my linebacker sized shoulders. The dress arrived 2 days before it was scheduled and it exceeded all of my expectations. The zipper was smooth and lovely, there were tiny button closures at the neck instead of a hook and eye closure, and the slip was properly tethered to the skirt to prevent it from riding up. Best of all, there were a thousand people at the event and nobody had a dress like mine. I received compliment after compliment, and I felt like a million bucks in my custom dress. Even my mother liked it on me- and she's tough to please! Thank you so much! I'll be ordering again soon!

I've ordered nearly 10 dresses from eShakti at this point and I'm always happy with the quality and surprised by the quick shipping. I love that every dress I've ever gotten has pockets standard, and they've also all had bra strap clips. I'm ridiculously happy with my newest dress (Style Number: CL*******); the pattern and fabrics are beautiful, and I didn't have to change anything about the cut at all - it already had a perfect neckline, sleeves, and hem length. I couldn't be happier with it!

I admit, I'm always hesitant ordering items from an unknown (to me) online store. But I saw a dress on a Facebook ad that I fell in love with. I have an upcoming event that I thought it would be perfect for. EShakti went above and beyond! The dress is beautiful. The quality top-notch! They also beat their estimated delivery time by a week and a half! The email updates with status were great. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. I will be back!

I sing your praises all the time to my friends. Especially those whose bodies aren't shaped in all the exact ways that "standard sizes" of most clothing lines assume. The option of choosing from so many designs, with different specialized types of 'flattering', and then to be able to make choices about sleeves and necklines and such, is an absolute miracle. And such a gracious spectrum of sizes! It's as though you realize women come in many, many sizes, and those of us at the higher end of the spectrum are perpetually locked out of being able to wear nice things, that are fun, and fancy, and stylish, and COMFORTABLE! And then to also have the option of sending measurements for our big bust and small hips, or our tiny waist and giant posteriors, our skinny legs and big bellies... etc etc etc. And... I tell this to everyone I recommend to eshakti... Everything has great big ginormous POCKETS! *swoon*

Your clothes, and your company, are an absolute joy. And if there ever has been an issue, Customer service has never failed to assist and deliver, no matter what the question or problem.
And your prices for the clothes and customization are incredibly reasonable. Value and quality at a level somewhat surprising, considering the low cost. That's some rare and refreshing news in a world where one can have cheap crappy clothes, or bank breaking nice clothes!
In a perfect world... or at least in one where I had any money, (I actually live below the poverty line), I would have an entire wardrobe of eshakti clothes. Career, causal, flirty, and fancy! I day dream about it sometimes lol. But as it is, I can only afford to buy one or two things, every once in a while, for special occasions and stuff. Otherwise, 90% of my clothes come from thrift stores.
So basically, whenever times in my life come about, and it's time for 'Cinderella' to go to the Ball, you guys are my fairy god mothers. :)

I finally ordered a dress from eShakti and due to my own negligent error, I thought it was going to arrive in time (read the fine print) When I realized it wasn't I emailed customer service and they rushed my dress to me at no extra cost! I just tried it on and it is SO cute and I'm super happy! So if you need a cute dress... eShakti has got you covered, but be proactive give them a few weeks to get it to you.

I have purchased over a dozen dresses from eShakti and I have loved almost all of them! A few times they were not quite right and were sent back, but usually that was an error on my part (either my measurements or buying off the rack instead of custom). I now only buy custom and I pay attention to fabric type as well (I adjust measurements if there is stretch in the fabric). I always get compliments on my eShakti dresses and I am convinced that it is because the first step in looking good is proper fit. If it fits well, it will look good. I have a colleague who had a bad experience because her dress was way too big... but she had given her size in CM instead of in inches. If you follow their instructions you should be satisfied. And if not, returns are easy!

EShakti has great products. I have adored everything that I purchased. I would definitely recommend them to friend and family. Where else can you get custom made products at such a great price.
