I have ordered about ten dresses from eShakti over a couple years, and have always had a wonderful experience. My favorite dresses are the ones I had custom-sized! I am normally a dress size 14/16, and have had great experiences ordering their regular sizing, but nothing compares to how flattering the custom-sized dresses are on me. I get stopped constantly and complimented on my dress!

I started ordering from eShakti a little over 3 years ago and they changed my entire wardrobe and how I feel about it! I barely have anything non-eShakti in my closets anymore. Custom orders are easy to place, easy to return if needed (which I've RARELY needed to do), and I'm always so impressed with the quality of the clothes. The customer service people are so nice, too. I feel like a walking billboard sometimes because I get asked so often about my dresses!

I'm really impressed with eShakti. I have bought 5 dresses through them now and will definitely be ordering more in the future. I've had most of the dresses customised - usually on the sleeve and length and it feels wonderful to own something that's unique.
A recent purchase (which I'd also had customised) didn't suit me at all when it arrived. I returned the item easily and free of charge and was given a no quibble refund (which included the delivery costs) within a few days.
Not sure why people are saying the items don't fit - the measurements for each dress are clearly displayed on the website and I tend to measure myself to check before ordering so I know which size to go for. In my experience, each dress has fit like a glove.
Delivery is surprisingly quick, given that I usually have my dresses customised and that they are made abroad.
I would recommend eShakti to anyone.

I was a bit leery to order from another online store, having had bad experiences with some of the other overseas stores, but I'm really glad I tried eShakti. The quality of fabrics, fit and construction is surprisingly good, esp. For the price. I look forward to wearing my 10+ new dresses from eShakti. I'll definitely order from them again, esp. Now I know the quality and which styles fit my shape the most. Plus, their online store is very user friendly. I love being able to get a sneak peek at how my selections will look with the alterations I've ordered.

I've ordered two dresses on two separate occasions! LOVE them both! You've just got to make sure your measurements are done right. My first dress I was a little nervous about my measurements, so I told them in the comment box what size I normally got at the store, just in case. The second I didn't do that. Both of them are perfectly made! No trouble what so ever!

The quality of these products cannot be understated. That plus the fact that I can pull it out of the box, slip it on and have it fit perfectly is why I keep coming back for more! I have been a customer for 3 years now and still wear dressed that I bought 3 years ago. I get compliments on the dresses and refer strangers to this company ALL THE TIME.

This is the first company with whom I have worked that consistently puts the customer's needs first. The clothing is essentially made to order based on the measurements you provide. I am only 5'3 and finding clothes that are not dragging the floor is always a challenge. These people do it right. In the odd chance, a rarity, you are not happy, return the item.

I had an item that I needed quickly (less than 2 weeks). They explained that they probably would not be able to accommodate my request due to international regulations. (I forgot to mention the clothes are made in India.) I placed my order on the 5th asking for a 15th delivery. I was floored when the order arrived on the 13th at 9:00. Woo hoo!

I originally had an issue with my order. I had put two different measurements for two custom dresses on the same order. My order was held until I contacted them. When I did contact them, the girl who answered the phone basically refused to put the order through as was. I'm really glad they checked about my first order because it might have been a mistake! I thought, wow they are very thorough! But after speaking to customer service on the phone, it seemed that all she was willing to do was change my measurements which is not what I wanted, so she canceled the order for me. Mind you, it takes a couple of days for that to show up in the app, and I didn't get an email confirmation about it right away either.

However, later on I used the chat feature online and wow! What a different experience! So helpful and logical. I placed a new order and they fulfilled it and everything fit perfectly! I loved all of it, though what I thought would be my favorite was my least favorite and what I thought would be my least favorite was my favorite. My mom always said "paper is patient". I'm not sure I understand what that means but she explained that things look different on paper or in a magazine than in person.

5 out of 6 dresses were lined, and all had snap closures to hold bra straps in place! I was worried I might have to add lining myself.

Also, after I received my first order Inplaced another order on the iPhone app. Be careful with the app. After you submit your order, before it confirms the order, the app can hang (maybe due to my WiFi disconnecting?) and if you close the app and reopen, the charge may have gone through but the order did not and you will be none the wiser as all the items will still be in the shopping cart. This happened to me so I ended up with 2 charges on my credit card but only one order placed. However they were good about refunding it right away. By right away, I mean, I called and was told to email, I emailed and 2 days later received an email back that it was refunded. I think they work hard at eShakti and were just plodding through the emails, so a little patience is necessary. So don't panic if you don't hear back. Hopefully you will read this and make sure you have a good internet connection if using the iPhone app, as well as not closing the app if it seems to get stuck or stall. All in all I am really pleased with eShakti! Best online clothing place ever!

I have ordered dozens of clothes from them, most of them dresses and most of them wonderful. It's an amazing feeling to wear something made exactly to your measurements! So flattering. When things don't work out you can mail them back for free. So I wear their stuff a lot and get tons of compliments. You will need patience to wait for the items and for them to process returns if needed but once you figure out the styles and measurements that work best you'll be rewarded with unique and perfect fitting dresses.

It's my 4th item from eShakti, and once you get the trick of calculating the length and height, it's fitting perfectly. I'm in love with their concept, and the size is always perfectly right. I know that when I order a 16, it's never too small or too big, and that's just awesome.
I love that you can play with every details, the fabric is always really good, and the overall look is always great. I think, to really get the most of eShakti, you need to know your body very well, to chose what fits you the best. Once you've achieved that, you'll be the best version of yourself in the best version of that dress!
