I ordered two dresses from eShakti. First of all, they arrived several days after the promised date, even though their website boasts about how fast they ship.

Next, they were too small. I ordered the same size I order on every other clothing website and these did not come close to fitting.

EShakti's website says "That's why eShakti offers you a hassle-free returns policy." Supposedly, the instructions for returns per the website are:

"Preparing your return Please initiate your returns online through the following steps::
Sign in to www.eshakti.com and go to "My Account"
Under "Order History," for the order you'd like to return, click on "RETURN DETAILS" to submit a "Return Authorization Request"
Let us know via this request why you're not satisfied, so that we can serve you better in the future
Print out the request and include it in your return package"

I followed these directions and there is no link for "RETURN DETAILS" to click on. I contacted eShakti as I only have 30 days to do the return. They emailed me they would answer within two business days. They did not answer. I contacted them on Facebook. They asked for my order number and said they would review and I never heard anything. I contacted them through their website AGAIN. They replied with the instructions above. I explained, again, that I had already followed those directions and there was no link. They did not reply. I do not consider this "hassle-free" returns; more like a scam. False advertising too with the promise dates and saying they will respond to me within two business days.

This is one of my favorite online retailers. Like any of us, we make mistakes but what is so wonderful about eShatki, is that their US-based customer service team goes the extra mile to make things right.

I ordered a custom-sewn dress from eShatki that was not the length I specified, it was below the knee rather than above the knee as I requested. Working with Carol and Mary Ann, they expedited shipment of a replacement dress which arrived two days early. And it was fun to track the process online from when the order was entered, through international shipping via DHL, to my doorstep. I think it's amazing that they can deliver such quality and fast shipping at such an affordable price.

Attached is a photo of me wearing the first, longer dress, at work. I'm a plus-size girl (male-to-female transgendered) so getting a dress to fit well, especially with my shoulders, is almost impossible; with a custom-sewn eShatki dress, it's a snap. And I love the pockets! You don't realize how you miss having pockets until you don't have them.

The styles are great! Being able to have clothing custom-sized, and in some cases - custom-styled, is the cream in my coffee! I have long limbs, a short torso, and a heavy chest. To be able to give a presentation without having to tug at my clothes or or worry if safety pins or bra straps are showing is such a HUGE relief. And, I ALWAYS get compliments on my outfits.

I had one instance where the clothes didn't fit. But that's because I lost 15 pounds and several inches all around, and forgot to update my measurements. Customer Service responded to my email the same day and the rep I spoke with was so understanding and helpful. I gave the updated measurements and quickly got the new clothes. I was able to donate the over-sized clothes to charity.

I am a loyal repeat customer!

Now that they make shirts and pants, not just dresses, they are the solution to my chronic problem of being short. More than that, though, I like their color palette, and the colors tend to coordinate fairly well with each other.

The measurement system was easy to use, and even though I didn't take their advice to have a friend take the measurements, the clothes that I've ordered fit perfectly. The price is reasonable, and from my research the workers have decent working conditions.

My friends have had good customer service, but I haven't needed any. So far, so good.

I have been a client for years but my last order dated Dec. 10,2023 never arrived. They do not reply to emails and nobody answer the phone.
Apparently something bad is going on with the company but they keep on taking orders despite being unable to honor them.
My last order amounted to USD182!
