Love the concept, I made an order of two dresses and a pair of pants. One of the dresses was gorgeous so I kept it, and I sent the other two back, they sent an email that they received the return, but it has now been six months, and despite repeated emails I have not yet received a refund for those things. I am a repeat customer. I have ordered twice from them before. I received those items on time and really enjoyed them. I have recommended them to others. Ordered again on April 19 and was suppose to receive it on May 8. I have received nothing. I have emailed and called repeatedly. They will not answer any communication. I would not recommend them to anyone. I am just hoping to get a refund.
Although they state on their website that delivery takes 15 to 20 days, my order have taken more than 1 and a have months to go out for delivery, and then it is scheduled to be delivered after 15 days which is pass my ocasion day. They don't respond to email or answer calls at all. THIS IS A SCAM!
I've purchased several dresses from eShakti in the past and all of those dresses have been fantastic, all of the experiences were fantastic. I purchased another dress at the beginning of March with an estimated delivery in the middle of March. The dress never arrived and when I looked on their website, it didn't even show that it was in the process of being manufactured. I reached out to them several times to find out what was going on or when I could expect it and nobody got back to me. Finally I asked for the order to be canceled, someone did reply and confirmed it was cancelled and that I could expect my money returned this week. I still haven't received that refund and now I'm ready to request a charge back from my credit card company. Absolutely disappointed with this entire experience, they use to be my favorite go to for nice dresses.
On Feb. 2, I placed an order for 2 dresses. Delivery was promised for Feb. 15 - 21. On Feb. 25 I emailed and called several times. Customer Service said they had no idea, order was not even in production yet. I said if they could not be delivered by March 1, then to cancel my order since these dresses were for a wedding March 3. They shipped anyway on March 16, a month late! And 2 more problems: Dresses were supposed to be above knee length; both were 4 inches below knee. And they included a New Return Policy, dated March 5, that doesn't accept returns! Stay away.
I ordered a dress. When it came not only was it too big, but the material was very thick, and made it not hang well, and was not wearable. I contacted them, but the only option I was given was to have it remade. It was remade, and it was smaller, but it was still not wearable because of the material. Then when I contacted them about that, they didn't really care. So it's not really a money back guarantee if there's a problem. I still can't wear the dress, either one of them, so it was a big waste. I am in the late 50s and I shop online all the time. I tend to buy from dillards, Nordstrom's, and individual boutiques. This was a super frustrating experience. Not worth risking your money in my opinion.
Ordered 2 dresses and was excited until I had to deal with their non existent customer service. Have several canned emails. Waited 40 min to talk to anyone and was left with voicemail option. 4 business days is actually 10 or more only to receive the same response. Will get back to you in 4 business days :/. Tried to cancel as my event came and went without receiving dresses. Now attempting to contact FedEx as the order says delivered but I didn't receive ANYTHING! Again trying to contact Eshakti Customer Service and encountering same process. Wish I would have read the BBB reviews as that is where I'm headed next to recoup my money. The real turn around time is 30 + days if ordered as is. The worst part is I never got the delivery. Do not order!
This site is awful. The concept is wonderful but I placed an order Feb 18 and apparently all three fabrics I chose were destroyed. Eshakti didn't even tell me! It got to the day they were supposed to be delivered and nothing, so I called the company. That's how I found out. They had no idea when the or if the fabric would be in, I called daily for two weeks because they wouldn't give a straight answer, and eventually I cancelled the order for all three dresses. That was on March 13th. It's now March 31 and they only have refunded me 50.00! I have no email about the cancellation (communication is not this company's strongest priority) and now no money back for an incident that happened in their factory. The factory is in New Delhi. It's not MY fault the fabric was damaged and the dresses would not be created in time to attend my friends wedding but now they're withholding the refund! Do not order from them! Completely awful experience!
I attempted to order a dress for NYE, and eShakti claimed they could be able to make it in time. Instead, they didn't ever start on the dress at all. Fine, I cancelled the purchase since they hadn't started it. Except now it is fully 3 months later and they haven't given my refund. I have contacted them multiple times and they keep claiming that they will get me the refund, and then another month goes by and I contact them again. I'm so disappointed because I really enjoyed my first purchase with them in 2020. Unfortunately I now have to file a credit card dispute since they won't actually issue the refund. To make matters even worse, this company apparently has nothing to offer an upset customer other than empty platitudes. If this company had perhaps offered a promo code or gift card, maybe I would still entertain the idea of shopping with them in the future, even though I have had to fight for this refund. But instead, they are simply going to lose a customer because it seems they see no issue with delaying my refund by 3 months.

I purchased two items of clothing. One did not work for me, so I sent it back for a refund. They received it and sent an email promising a refund within 21 business days. After the 21 business days, I called them and they said they would process it. Weeks later, I emailed them and they said they would process it. Weeks go by, I called again and they said they would make it a priority and pass on the information to process it; I asked for a manager and they said they don't have a manager, they are a separate company who passes on information to eShakti in India.
The credit card claim is still pending, but thankfully the credit card company refunded me in the meantime.

After many years of being a loyal eshakti customer, my most recent order of 3 dresses (placed on January 30,2023 with an expected delivery date of February 18,2023) has turned into a nightmare. When the delivery date came and went with no updated information from eshakti I began the process of trying to find out what was going on with my order. After receiving numerous automated "we'll get back to you" replies to online requests for status updates, requests that were never were responded to, I finally waited on the phone for 30 minutes to speak to a customer service rep (this was sometime in late February). I was told there had been issues with fabric supplies. The representative expressed much frustration that her department was having to try and explain all about these delays to customers instead of having the company deal properly with issues such as this but she promised me that my orders were in production and I could expect to receive them the following week. Two days ago I received a FedEx delivery from eshakti. According to their site, two of my 3 items would be in this order and the last item would arrive soon. The box only contained one item. So, a month after my expected delivery date, I have two items that have never arrived. I used to love eshakti and want to love them again but at this point, I hope I don't have to end up requesting a reverse payment from my credit card company for items ordered but never received. Under my orders, the site is indicating that this entire order was delivered on March 15,2023. That is not a true reflection of my experience. Please, eshakti, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!

Answer: I have been ordering the standard sizes and they are true to the measurements posted. No matter what you put in your height, so the length is always spot on.
Answer: Purchase a dress that is made with the knit fabric. It is flexible and much more loose feeling than the other fabrics. If you do decide to add inches to the measurement, I recommend only adding 1-2 inches AND only add those inches where you like it loser. For example, measure your arms true to size unless you like it a bit lose. Measure your waist true to size unless that is where you like it a bit lose. But honestly, I think you will find the knit dresses to be the best if you dislike tight fitting clothing! I also am not a fan and those are the dresses I wear most often! I have bought other styles, so I have other fabrics to compare it to.

Even adding a deisgn I requested to Fabric Customisation. Winning! I have only had to return 1 dress and it was easy and I got a full refund.
