ONCE I ORDERED ITEMS ONLINE, THE COURIER FAILED TO COME ON THE DELIVERY DATE AND LIED THAT I WAS NOT PICKING MY PHONE, I COMPLAINED TO SOUQ AND ALL THEY SAID WAS "SORRY" I ORDERED AGAIN AND WHEN MY ORDER ARRIVED, THE MASCARA I ORDERED WAS TOTALY DRY! I WAS SHOCKED, HOW DO THEY SELL SUCH PRODUCTS? THE NEXT TIME I ORDERED, IT WAS AN IPHONE, TWO WEEKS INTO USING IT, THE FRONT CAMERA STOPPED WORKING AND THEN IT STARTED HANGING A FEW MONTHS LATER, I CALLED TO FILE A COMPLAIN AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY WOULD PICK IT UP AND CHECK THE PROBLEM. I RE-SCHEDULED THE PICK UP DATE AND GUESS WAHT, NO ONE BOTHERED TO CONTACT ME ON THAT DAY! THEY LATER SEND AN EMAIL TO ME SAYING THAT "THEY ARE HAPPY MY PROBLEM WAS RESELVED!' ARE YOU GUYS KIDDING ME?

NEVER ORDER FROM SOUQ.COM THEY ARE THE WORST EVER.

I am Souq.com customer since 2 years, everything was ok since i was buying small items, until i decided to buy a samsung s7 edge with Warrantyfrom dod_UAE which is Souq.com seller.
After 1 month of using the phone it got damaged, i called them claiming the warranty and they responded that we will immediately activate the warranty, and waited about 10 days for the courier to show up and pickup the item and it was sent to them.
And here where the drama started between Souq.com and their service center, where service center will say it is not repairable consult with Souq.com and again souq.com will tell me we need to consult back with Service center, it is turning around this circle since 1 month and yet their no solution.
I never wrote a bad feedback about sellers, i never wasted my time to complain, but this time, i am really in a very bad situation, nothing will garantee your right, no officiel replied from them, always hearing lies and lies and lies, and simply "Sorry Sir" we know your frustration we will get back to you at the ealiest, they never got back to me if i did not call and insist to escalate the mater, and simply they reply by: Sorry sir.
So guys be careful this warranty does mean anything for these people

I ALSO have some bad experience, and I think everyone should be alerted about this.(dod_uae): dont deal with them.

One week before souq has presented may mobile mania.
That time I have seen an ipad pro 12.9 inch at 1099 AED as an offer only 3 pieces left.
I ordered the same(one piece) and waited for long time like 6 days.
Everytime i was calling them souq people were telling me that it is going to deliver between 7 to 10 days.

I patiently waited a long time. One day in the night at 10pm one call came telling that order is cancelled.
I was angry to staff and then they told no use they cancelled that order.

First of all, anything that offered by souq is taken from somewhere else( I think you understand what i mean). Normally refurbished one.

Secondly, they do not have any credibility over the materials they deliver
Third, whatever material they have given in offer section are only for attracting the people not for delivery(actually that item does not exist in their hand they just show some ads and attract all people and cheat peoples like this.

Customer_care peolpe are telling that nothing can be done.

Really the waste online service ever seen.
WADI and jado prado are far better than this

I recieved several faulted products and when i attempted to review them to alert potential buyers they wrote me an emaik saying that this is a complaint and not a review and that they will not be published.

I asked for a return of the products and they didnt credit my account except for after continuous follow ups for more than one month... With the credit i ordered other products and they havent reached me for 2 weeks and when i contacted them they told me the shipping address is innclear even though they have delivered over 20 prodycts to the very sane address...

DONT DEAL WITH THIS SITE THEY ARE A CON

I have used souq.com for 3 years now and so far i am satisfied with it. But, it doesnt mean that I would be careless in buying just about anything in Souq. There are trust ratings on sellers for a reason, let that be your first priority in deciding to buy the item or not. So far, this approach never gave me any regret. Just because an item might be a good buy but if it is under a poorly rated seller, never gamble.

As for refund from souq, i have returned many items within the span of 3 years, so far I have not encountered any problems. Maybe just luck? I might encounter in the future but lets see once that happens.

Delivery is a concern with Souq. When I bought many items most certainly they would be delivered beyond the expected date. Sometimes I get frustrated but fortunately, all items would be delivered eventually. Ofcourse, I needed to use their contact support to expedite the delayed deliveries. It works so far.

I have had bad products from souq but it was more on my fault for not reviewing feedbacks first. To date, I have purchased a 42" lg uhd smart TV, Panasonic microwave oven, saachi vaccuum cleaner, nikon dslr d5300, and other pricey items for almost 3 years now, and I have yet to receive a defective item from them.
