Needed to rent a car last minute during labor day weekend, went on the website and rented a car with my membership and when I went to pick up the car they upgraded me to a premium vehicle loved the service.
We booked a car but we were late in Rome, so we tried to change our booking on a next day, but it was impossible and they refused to return our money. We then rent a car by ourselves with Sicily by Car and everything was fine.
Today when trying to pick up the car from Carwiz, I was told that the insurance coverage I bought is not valid in this company and I must buy their insurance which is 30 EUR/day. And any minimal scratch will be valued at minimum of 1800 EUR and I will be charged immediately charged for this if such thing happens. In the end I refused to take the car with those horrible terms.
As a result my day was wasted as I ended up in 10+ hour bus rides. I was clearly misled by the Carwiz and it the responsibility of Economybookings to handle this miscommunication.

In mid April I booked with economy for car rental with Hertz in Sacramento. I paid thru PayPal. When I went to pick up car they couldn't accept it because it was in euros(?). Now they are seeking to keep $50 due number of cancellations they are experiencing and not honoring their original promise. Although I am sure they will collect their losses eventually through the government benefits they are seeking more through their customers of which I am sure many are suffering financially as well.

This company offers to book cars of all classes worldwide and I can say for myself, that I had a great car, which I picked up and returned on time.
This company is impossible to get in contact with. I've been waiting over a month for a refund of over 700USD and have emailed multiple times regarding this with no respons. Calling them is not even an option since the phone numbers provided only contains a prerecorded message with no additional information or help to get.

Its easy. You book and pay for your rental and its done. You show up at the car rental desk with your paid rental voucher and they have to give you the car. You are in the same lane with the people who rent directly from the car company and they have to honor the voucher. It has been always cheaper to book it thru Economy Bookings. No hassle and we save some money
Peter Hörndler went above and beyond to help me and my wife with our luggage. He was kind enough to use his own money to rent a cart to help haul all my family's bags. I'm sure his actions set a great example to those around him.

I had been cheated, economy booking asked for a deposit and once I reached the airport the rent a car company it was a fake offshore company who tried to rent me the car for over the doble of the amount. Till today I still don't have a refund and a claim number, and these guys are just bouncing emails saying they are investigating the case. Cheating is not doing business, is stealing money

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
