Easy to book online through Holiday Autos. Nice car, convenient in-terminal desk and return parking lot close to the terminal. Only disappointment was that there was onlt one rep serving customers and the customer in front of us had a problem and took ages which meant we had a long time to wait. There were 2 other reps in the cabin but they did paperwork and ignored customers. If it wasn't for that I would have given 5 stars.
Both GREEN MOTION and the broker ECONOMY BOOKINGS, keep referring me to the cancellation policy, that I should have contacted them in advance. But I as mid air until I arrived at Heathrow airport to collect the car! Forced to get an Uber the 80 miles home, I was obviously not interested in traveling back to Heathrow to collect the car the day after. Impossible to understand how it could be my fault - do not use this company!
We were picked up at the airport and taken on a couple of minutes drive to the office to collect our car. Friendly team and great service. Returning the car was just as straight forward. The only frustrating part was having to provide all your details again having already done so when booking the car online. Other than that will definetly use again
Appeared at the GM desk in Frankfurt airport, very conveniently located just a few steps from our arrival gate. The paperwork was completely very quickly and efficiently. I had already seen that the rental price, including full insurance, was very competitive.
The car itself was in the basement garage just below the arrivals hall, again extremely convenient - no having to wait for a shuttle bus etc.
The car was new, clean and everything worked perfectly.

Unfortunately, I arrived at night in the traffic chaos of Istanbul and was given a vehicle with an empty tank. So I started my vacation with a very nervous search through the mess of motorways around the airport in this totally unknown city, without any navigation, looking for a filling station, all the time expecting to run out of fuel and stop at any moment. I thus ended up miles from the intended route and needed another hour to find my way back again.
The correct drop-off location or address was also not indicated in any of the correspondence or documents. Had to find this out myself before returning.
Were it not for these two problems, I would have given 5 stars. I will definitely use GM again in the future, but next time will take more precautions.
They picked us up from the airport, carried our suitcases, gave us a clean car, informed us about the necessary information, and told us to contact them if we had any problems.I didn't have any problems while delivering the car, they dropped us back to the airport. Deposit money returned within 2 weeks. I am very satisfied with the service. I recommend it to everyone.

Apart from two small points of improvement, everything else was very good. The shuttle to and from the pick up point runs every half hour. The pick up/return personnel was efficient and nice. The car above expectations and clean. Contract conditions clearly stated and respected.
To improve: they do not answer to the telephone number they report on the voucher (that replied to an email inquiry after a couple of days) and they do not tell you that you do not have to pay for the shuttle transfer.

The whole experience was great - best deal in town & very happy with the vehicle. The one thing I am still worried about is the fact that the sales office advised me that they took £2500 deposit & would be returned after 15-25 days after the return of the rental. We are still waiting for our deposit back. I wonder if I have done my money, don't feel comfortable about this. Would like this investigated please.

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges.
Please visit https://greenmotion.com/terms and select the country you rented from to see the deposit information which will advise the general timeframe that you can expect for the release of the deposit.
Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you.
Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you.
If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at gmuk@cs.greenmotion.co.uk.

Staffs are super helpful, I hired a big SUV, on that time I cannot fited my four big suit case in, they have very good experience to help me fited all the suitcases in. Other things was I so unlucky that I bought comprehensive insurance, when we were in Cardiff I parked my car on the public car park somebody hit and run, this caused the right hand side light and bumper were broken, when I returned the car I just need to fill up one insurance form and they didn't charge anything.

I have rented from Greenmotion Manchester Airport 4 times since February. Every time was well looked after and given a good car quickly and efficiently. They are just off the airport, but there's a frequent pick up and the price seems to be a little more than half what you pay in car hire centre at the airport. (You need a pick up there any way) A thank you to Ritz who dealt with me on two pick ups and two returns.

We needed to hire a car at Stansted Airport for an overnight trip to the UK, and Greenmotion were offering excellent rates. The depot is 'off airport' but only ten minutes away and has a frequent shuttle-bus service from the terminal. The car, a Fiat Cinquecento, was spotless and in perfect condition. The staff were efficient and polite when we picked up and returned the car. An excellent service overall, and we will certainly use Greenmotion again.

Arrived at the time to pick up and was told they have no cars available. I booked through Priceline 2 months ago so there is zero acceptable reason my rental was not available. This is very poor service. They can see my rental on the computer so they know I was coming. I don't recommend them nor will I ever use this this pathetic company again. I had to pay for my uber back to airport and find another rental company.

Airport office personnel are very kind and helpful. The car was new, very clean and there wasn't any problem. Price is worthy but I used a coupon code, mine was cheaper than normal. For that I'm very satisfied.

I came across GreenMotion online, as I found other car rental companies were just too expensive for a one day rental. GreenMotion did not disappoint, they had a great website (easy to book), a good team and excellent value for money. I rented a van for the day and it was about 1/3 of the price that other rental companies were offering. Picking up the van was easy and the same with dropping it off.
I would definitely recommend using them and have already recommended GreenMotion to friends and family.
