En el día de hoy contraté el alquiler de un vehículo para el mes de abril de 2024. Me indican que la reserva esta completada, a un precio en moneda local, señalando que es EL PRECIO FINAL DEL ALQUILER el cual aboné con Tarjeta de Crédito y cuando me confirman la reserva por mail informan que lo que pagué es un anticipo y destacan que debo abonar a la llegada 480 UDS adicionales. Por eso deseo expresar la pésima experiencia de reserva y desaconsejar contratar con ésta empresa. Me siento totalmente defraudado por esta empresa que no obra honestamente con la información que suministra al usuario al momento de la contratación.

I booked my reservation online and did not receive one email confirmation. The only email I received from Economybookings.com was to write a review and another after drop off asking for a review. My pick up time was 10:30pm so I was hoping the counter would be open and someone would be available to assist me. Out of 9-10 rental companies only 3 counters were open, luckily they were able to check the partnering companies if our reservation existed. Thankfully the last rep I spoke with was able to find my reservation with Thrifty. She was extremely helpful and very pleasant as I was already stressed and frustrated. I can't tell you this was a reflection of the booking company because she worked for Thifty. Economybookings.com needs to communicate with customers better than a single email asking for a review. I paid half my reservation online and I was praying it wasn't lost or I was scammed. Thanks to the reps at Oakland airport rental car I was able to drive off with a rental and enjoy the rest of our vacation.

This is the most scammiest booking site that has ever existed. At checkout the price was one amount which aligned with what was on my email confirmation but when I checked my account, they deducted significantly more. I am disgusted and appalled with this company. I called and I was promised a reimbursement but as of 2 weeks later I have not recieved a reimbursement so now it's time to call my credit card company and dispute the charges. Also when I called customer service the second time, the male representative literally SCREAMED at me. Just a horrible experience all around.

I love the amazing response from ebooking. They ask me to contact them via their website. When I enter the data, nothing happens because it is blocked in advance.
So your apologetic comments are bogus to show that you care about customers, which is a complete nonsense.
Your response is a simulation of the good image you want to give.

On July 3,2023, I reserved an Opel Corsa car for 2 days on the ebooking site. The price displayed was €59.14. Ebooking made me prepay €40.54 when booking and I had to pay €18.60 when picking up the car.
When I arrived at Firefly they told me that my reservation at 59.14 from Ebooking they did not take it into account because they did not have an agreement with ebooking.
Result Firfly charged me €150.70 in addition to the $40.54 I had paid for the reservation.
The biggest scam of the year 2023 plus this site is based in Latvia. So, a bunch of scammers who have the door open to make money by making false reservations

Quick n easy!

Easy to order and fill in your details, and order extras. Pick up and drop off easy and quick.
Only problem is you will need a printer to print out 2 copies of the 9 page "voucher" they issue on line, which not mentioned until after you have paid! I do not have one, so checked with the vehicle hire people who confirmed they did not need a copy! Otherwise no problems.

Terrible drivers

Be very careful renting car in Serbia. Very expensive to rent and insure. Driving in Belgrade or anywhere in Serbia is adventure and super stressful. Around 500 people get killed in traffic accidents in Serbia annually. Drivers don't keep distance, horn whenever they feel like it and almost never follow speed limits, signs or rules. Try to stay on highways and avoid as much as possible local roads and Slavija the biggest city roundabout.

Economy Bookings charged a part payment of $485.28 and delivered nothing. When I collected the rental vehicle I was charged the full price. Europcar had no record of the part payment and stated that they were not affiliated with Economy Bookings. Stay away from Economy Bookings.

The deceptive practices trying to force you to purchase their insurance. I had my personal insurance card, but the clerk insisted she needed to see my policy. What insurance company requests the policy and who carries their policy. I had to call my insurance company, have them email. The clerk was rude the moment I declines their insurance and made my experience the worst EVER and I've rented vehicles, high end rental agencies and never had these issues. Then I look at the document to see they were about to charge me $1,000 deposit for a regular Camry and when I asked about it, I was told, "if I had purchased their insurance, it would have only been $250. Once again, trying to make you purchase their insurance. HORRIBLE and I'll be writing reviews to every outlet. I've already completed the BBB. Every Customer in the building was complaining about the how horrible Economy was. They have they right name, E-CON

Arrived at Cairns airport and our passport was misplaced, we have Canadian Driver's license with our home address, in English and a Nexus card with same. Within 10 seconds we were told we were wrong not to have our passport, and that they were overbooked, and no cars available. Alamo couldn't get rid of us fast enough and quickly explained that we will not be able to get a refund from them, its a third party! I will never book through EconomyBookings as we now must submit a request for a refund - basically beg for a refund. What a great travelling experience. Thankfully Hertz right next door did have a vehicle and oddly our documentation - English language wth a full home address and a valid credit card was more than adequate to take our money AND give us a car!

Bad experience with Drivus. It started damaging my trip upon arrival, causing me expenses, annoyance and tiredness. I contracted with the information that the rental company would be at the airport. False information. I had to find public transport and get around, as the office and car are in the city. I hired a medium sedan car, they provided me with a small sedan car. When returning it, they informed me that my deposit refund would only be made after 21 days. Anyway, lots of trouble!

Once you get to them they played a nice game by asking your international drivers license. And would not accept Florida USA license, would not cancel my booking to refund! It's a shame & sad when they fool around with their customers after long flight. Just next door the car rental gave me the car without any problems. B*******

Hold refund 30 days

Never book here, holding you refund for 30days due to high season unreasonable. I cancelled because I wasn't given full contract that Florida residents are not under the unlimited mileage until after I had paid need that money to book different company. Not a good look

I made a mistake in my booking and needed to redo it but in order to do that I needed to cancel my previous booking. This realization took place minutes after I made the reservation. I went to cancel my reservation and saw that my order was non-refundable. It's my fualt sure but this seems altogether unethical. They're going to keep my 241 dollars because I made a mistake about which airport I would pick up the car at. This is a trash company. If you enjoy your rental great, but do not expect customer service or leniency.

The Worse Service EVER!

I will never use this company ever again even if they were to pay me! I paid for a car rental 2 months in advance for a wedding. Upon arriving at the airport, I was told by the agent it would be 1-2 hours before they had a car rental available! 3 hours later, still not car and then the agent started telling everyone that they should start looking for another car rental company for a car because they still didn't have any cars! And to add insult to injury, Economy Bookings, after notifying them that I was due a refund because the car rental company had not cars, they took 30 days to just "look" into it and another 7 days for me to see my money back in my bank account! Ridiculous!
