EBay guarantee is completely useless and they lie all about it. They told me twice they would guarantee me my money back if I did not get my product in time and I did not get it in time. I purchased a pair of Nike shoes. Ebay supposedly sent them to an Authenticator before it was sent to me. They authenticated them. After they authenticated them it is no longer returnable.I received the package and they are fake. The stitch is coming off. The fabric was glued to the shoe and you can see the glue. It looks like these were made by a child. They even have additional markings and stitching that aren't on the real Nike shoes. I don't even know what size they are because there is no tag on the shoes. Complete trash and a scam.
Ive been shopping on ebay for many years. Sometimes i get good stuff and sometimes i dont. My major complaint about this site is the communication of the sellers is just awful. I cant tell you how many times ive written a seller with a question or request and heard nothing back. Also as of late the prices have been really going up which sucks. Ebay until recently always had really good prices but now theyre doing what all the other big corporations do, theyre taking a bite out of the little guys arse.which sucks. So overall if youre looking for a casual usually reasonably priced goods shop on ebay but dont go on that site for their communication. People are so quiet on that site sometimes i feel like im on planet of the apes trying to get my money back.
EBay used to protect sellers and buyers but now only protect themselves and the money they can make. I have had multiple issues with faulty buyers recently and eBay not helping at all. They most recent case where they allowed a return for an item the buyer said they just did not want anymore then made me not only eat the original ship cost but pay return shipping as well and did not reimburse fees made me leave the site all together. I recommend selling elsewhere as their are many places that actually care about their clients.

Ok, got to vent. I will no longer be ordering anything from EBAY. Chinese crap has taken over. I ordered a motor from China for a split unit that I have. They sent my part to Miami Florida. Guess what? Since the Chinese company can prove they sent to America (wrong address) ebay told me that the transaction was complete and my file was closed for good. I have been a happy eBay user since 1999 with no problems. A few months ago, I sold an item for $30. The buyer paid promptly and I shipped it. No problem UNTIL I started getting emails from eBay that they are no longer using PayPal, which worked seamlessly, and that I had to update my banking info. I bank with Bank of America and their site would not accept the routing number. After a trip to the bank and countless hours with Customer Service, the truth came out today. EBAY DOES NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BANK OF AMERICA IN GEORGIA! How many other states, I have no idea. So, unless I open an account with another bank and hope that they will accept their routing number ("we accept most banks, but I can't tell you which ones", there is no way to get my money. They can't mail me a check, they don't use any cash pay options. Nothing. I am furious to think that I have now made a donation to eBay. How would anyone expect anything this stupid?

I got scammed with a a laptop, it arrived block and I asked for a return and eBay provided me with the QR code and i suggested to get a insurance shipping label but the seller was highly aggressive and abusive and he denied my suggestion so I contacted eBay costumer service and they told me not to worry, if the item got lost they were going to refund me because I used their QR code and I sent back the item and the item got stuck in transit and then lost. I contacted eBay and this seller opened a case about the item and sent a letter from "usps" saying that I never dropped off the package, when I have a receipt and witnesses from usps that saw dropping off the item they refused to believe me, even when I sent screenshots from this scammer threatening my own life, he told me "he knows where I live" and they still closed the case in the scammer favor and they don't want to refund my money, even though I already gave up the item and my money, i spoke with the usps inspector from my local area and he wrote me a letter saying that did dropped off the item and they still refused to pay my money which was a total amount of $1316.09 so i basically got scammed and eBay won't help even if they know this "seller" is a scammer they are protecting him, and not helping their costumers. Never buying on eBay and I hope this experience help you to not commit my same errors, DONT TRUST EBAY, in the pics you can see how this scammer was treating me!
Ebay is the worst! I am a seller who pays them for a store but because I made a few mistakes, taking some listings off they have suspended my account. Customer service was off no use. I removed 695 listings, the reason with I missed a few. Go to Poshmark!
EBay suspended my account with a MC 011. And would not give me a valid reason. Conveniently after I sold about $2000 worth of merchandise and it was delivered to the buyer and i holding my money through manage there sketchy managed payments. That everyone is talking about and hates. If you look on YouTube, and google, this complaint is taking on the life of its own, and I think they will eventually be a class action suit for this. According to the customer service and I've gotten various responses. They refuse to release my 60-72 days. We are at the 60 day point now and there is no site of them releasing my funds. I get a different answer every time I call. I'm going to post videos on YouTube and use various social media platforms to spread awareness about this. It's so unfair. I encourage anyone to utilize the better resources out there like Amazon, Walmart, bonanza, and Facebook marketplace. Way better selling

I have never ordered from eBay and the one and only time I will was 2 items from Richbororiches. Both items were in 1 package with tissue paper and lightly taped. I opened the first sweater and it had a large run under the arm. It was advertised "new, no tags". Clearly it wasn't "new". I never bothered to open the other sweater and attempted to send them both back. After searching hours to get my answers on how to do this, I did get a hold of the the woman on owns this site. She said to send both back, but this time send them separately. I did and when she refunded me she kept 40 percent of the damaged sweater and 15 percent of the unopened sweater. What kind of business is this? Fraudulent to say the least. When I have attempted to work with eBay it is most disturbing that you can't get someone on the phone.
