EBAY endorse and back companies selling fake products claiming they are originals
I have dealt happily with eBay for years. Bought many fake Pandora charms. Still sterling silver but reproductions.
The last 2 charms I bought claimed to be original, and both turned out to be plated and of a very poor quality. The colour peeled off then after a couple of months. I sent the sellers an ebay pictures of the charms next to original charms. It was obvious to dear they were fake. I asked the seekers for a refund. One was generated by the seller, and the second seller wouldn't do obviously I reached out to Ebay to honour the refund as they promise. I then get an email from ebay saying they don't like the way I'm behaving in my account and that they think it's time to part ways and then banned me from EBAY. Wow so ebay endorse illegal trade in fake products and throw out clients who expect the original Pandora beads which they claim to be. THIS COMPANY IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY!
They are so quick to take out fees. But they will hold your money. They also will allow someone to scam you. While you get nothing in return. Customer services is so bad they do not help!
Bought Closys toothpaste. Never received it. Seller is a fraud. Ebay never responded except to close the incident with no notice to me. Inside job of eBay theft. EBay is rife with fraud, but fraud line is practically closed. A VERY STRONG WARNING: DO NOT BUY EBAY!
That never stick up.for the sellers ever. They close out cases and it is always for the buyer.I just lost $135 because the woman lied and said the items didn't work when it did.showed the.proof that it worked and ebay still refunded her shipping...have to.find a new site
I have given this unholy website 3 trys stupid me well I was a seller on eBay and had 2 buyers send back replicated items of what was sent to them before I even had a chance to look my returned property over eBay all ready refunded them I filed a appeal and imagen this the suspended my account both times now iteam 3 the buyer sent back the iteam to a different address leading up to me not getting it back eBay was and is not help there pourly so called investigators could not find the opening to there own magic markers in school site is nicely put together and it does work but I'm telling you hope you don't need there help or a expert you will most definitely get magic maker with some paper writing your problem
My wife lists unneeded items on eBay from time to time.
In the past year two buyers were successful bidders on an item, she packaged it up but the buyer failed to pay or acknowledge.
Apparently eBay has no consequences for these deadbeats and just tells the seller to re-list it.
They don't suspend them or even warn other sellers that they have a history of making bids they don't follow through with.
Ebay seems content to collect their commissions on successful items and fail to manage their site otherwise.
Ebay doesn't seem to realize that their inactions are encouraging these deadbeats to make more frivolous bids with no consequence.
I have called and chatted numerous times. They'd approve my account, then suspend all of a sudden for no good reason. I have filled out a listing I was trying to sell, then over and over. Granted, I haven't used ebay in years, and was trying to sell just 1 camera -- after so much headache of Suspended (Why?) -> Unsuspended --> I finally gave up. Not worth my time. The call center is obviously in another country and they want the company to FAIL
Full of scammers and fake products I once thought eBay was good after a few recent transactions I had to rethink my opinion
I just have nothing to say buy wish you the worst business ever... Frauds! They still your money
Ebay is a big SCAM for sellers. I was seeling a product that I gave to the buyer full extra text descrition and real pictures from all angles. The buyer opened a case, received full refund and ebay charged me extra 16 eur for the transaction after it finished with full refund.
Sellers beware ebay representatives gave the buyer the full refund without even readin my print screen evidences, I realised when they gave me on standard responses without any real proof that they read my evidences: One of the asnwers looked like this:,, I do not doubt your good faith, Mr Constantin, and I believe you when you tell me that the object is in order, but I also do not question the buyer's word. Since we do not have complete visibility on the package at the departure and arrival of the transit, we do not contradict either case.''
Watch out of that ebay is becoming a scam site for sellers!
Well, tried to open a business account with them. 15 minutes after "welcome to ebay", I received an email stating that my account is blocked FOREVER without a chance for an appeal. This is not a marketplace, this is a CHEAP, SMELLY NIGHTCLUB, that reject entrance for no reason because they are "TOO COOL". Guys, you are a bunch of losers, its much better to work at MCdonalds, what s shame is that! I cant even find words to describe how stupid, lame and unprofessional you are, EBAY = $#*!. Without a chance for an appeal. F.U.!
Multi-vendor sites are great and convenient. In my professional opinion; eBay has the best platform overall, it is perfect. Completely simple and user friendly and is more economical giving more to the people! The issue is; not all vendors and staff members are trustworthy. When I first began to shop on eBay, the only issue I found also at other multi-vendor sites, were the vendors falsely advertising merchandise or not shipping the order. Years ago, you could call eBay and speak directly to a person and resolve the issue. One of their best features compared to others. For some ridiculous reason currently you have to try to resolve matters online via their website, then opt for them to call your number. Putting you a tad bit at risk. To add, I have several accounts on eBay, and other online stores I shop. As a form of protection from Goofy Stalkers, and identity theft. My youngest account with eBay was suspended for no logical reason. Other than my legal name was not on this less than 2 years old eBay account. I opted for eBay customer service to contact me regarding the issue and within seconds eBay called my phone. Only to tell me that they would not lift the suspension unless I provided them my LEGAL NAME AND BIRTHDAY. Highly suspicious. Being none of the other accounts that are 17 years or older, including none of the other online franchised Multi-vendor sites have given me any issue. In the email detailing why my account was suspended, eBay said "We wanted to let you know that your eBay account has been permanently suspended because of activity that we believe was putting the eBay community at risk." Events like this occur when tension, crime and war are present. To live in denial of whom lied to you, whom are most likely to lie to you; are signs of being G.E.D.Stupid. Overly sensitive to scrutiny? Why that is like being a sniveling idiot. Pierre is not an idiot or the topic of this review, I guess like most chairmen, he/they are unaware of the wrongdoings of their staff, because none have brought to him notice of such happenings. Was I displeased? Yes. Stalking is a serious crime; even Women that look like Mary Poppins have been found guilty of, and more.
Seller scammed me, eBay customer service lied twice. Item arrived damaged, usueless packaging. I returned and paid for postage upfront at sellers request as they said they would reimburse me. I also used better packaging to return the tat! They close my case without refunding postage. They send sugar sweet messages on how it will be resolved and is resolved and I will get the money within 5 days twice with no actual resolution. Their apologies are fake, no restitution. It's not for a lot of money but it's the principle, they all lied, their money back guarantee is not guaranteed that's a guarantee!
They broke the law so I closed my account, not worth the stress. Criminal!
CEO ignores emails too.
Appalling!
I've been with them for nearly 17 years but it's a degenerate company. I'm off!
Accidentally made my account with a VPN active, they banned my account. I called support and they reactivated my account. I spent hours listing items to find my account banned the next day. After talking to support they said create a new account, all is good. I created a new account properly on my home network. Next day I get an email stating my new account is banned, unauthorized to create new accounts ever and that this decision is final. EBay is such TRASH lol.
I was a member of ebay for 17 years, 100 percent satisfaction record both as a seller and buyer. Recently I sold 2 items, Ebay then then said AFTER the sales that they were witholding the money for over 1 month as they had changed their terms of service and no longer pay with paypal ( they still accept paypal) I told them I wanted to cancel the sale as I was counting on the money for christmas- they promptly banned me from selling! Also they were going to charge over 150 dollars for a 780 dollar sale- Ebay has become a terrible business. My advice, don't trust them, don't use them, go to a cheaper and fairer way of selling!
Ebay steals money from sellers and justifies the charges
Anyway they can, my accounts have been charged countless times without rhyme or reason, complete trash... I haven't even sold anything and some bs charges will be taken out of my checking account... somebody should be in jail for this
I ordered a set of headlights from ebay shipper is dt moto, they shipped them to a totally different city than i live at and they will not rectify the situation by giving me my money back or merchandise. They do not stand by their gurantees. They got me twice first time was 20 bucks second time 150. Not a happy camper
I have had the worst experience with eBay, from not depositing my money correctly, to upsetting my buyer that was trying to buy my product by not handling their money correctly, to their customer service lying and stating that they would perform transactions that never happened, to them charging me fees for transactions that never took place. I would recommend NOT to do business with ebay. It is constant confusion, it is outdated systems, and somehow your money gets robbed from you in the midst of all this confusion.
Been on ebay for years spend thousands a year, used to good company not anymore, getting a lot of poor sellers on there site, getting a refund from sellers is getting to be a joke. I'll be closing my account better places to buy from with no hassle, buyers beware
Answer: I would never buy a used car without seeing it in person and having it checked out.
Answer: Ebay is a den of thieves. Even Ebay is evasive on complaints to answers. When looking for items, be sure to be fully informed to what you are shopping and use all that knowledge to cypher the listing, even then have found those that list items to be evasive on answers. Avoid ebay if possible!
Answer: For their own purposes and to protect dishonest sellers. I was once an avid EBay shopper, but now avoid EBay. Buyer protection no longer exists. You buy at your own risk.
Answer: Ebay sells nothing. You are dealing with private sellers. Some are good, some are not. The best way to determine this is to check the feedback. I personally never buy from anyone who has a feedback lower than 90%. 96% is considered bad, by Ebay. Take that with a grain of salt. Ebay management is nuts.
Answer: If you haven't already learned the hard way that Ebay is just pure bullshit when it comes to the sellers rights. When someone wants to send it back for any reason other than it doesn't work as described, you will be footing the bill. Not only will you lose the money you paid to ship it to them, Ebay will offer to provide a return label for them at your expense. Yep, that's right. They will bill you the price of the label if you don't provide it. Either way, you are paying for it to get back to you. It's get better. You can't leave negative feedback for the buyer either. It's not an option NO MATTER
Answer: Not to me! It's my main shopping tool! I look for good deals and free shipping!
Answer: Yes. You are right. All what people told you are correct. Don't trust ebay and the seller on ebay. Amazon much better than them. But anyway the best way to buy electronics from the local stores or official stores.
Answer: This depends on the seller of the item - carefully check their feedback and trust you intuition if you have doubts try another seller you feel safer with...
Answer: Hi Tom, As for reviews, you don't get them. It's called feedback. When you buy an item, the seller will probably leave feedback after you leave feedback for them. I hope that answers your question. Nancy
Answer: Depends on the seller. I wouldn't buy anything off ebay because there a crappy company.
