I purchased an item from M.A.S.K Gator for $550. It was a pre-order which that is my fault for not knowing you couldn't sell pre-orders on eBay. EBay allowed this seller to sell 30 of these items. The seller took the $550 from all of us and never sent the items. When we reached out to Ebay we were told too bad so sad. The seller got away with over $18,000 from his fake listings and all eBay did was cancel his account. He was never held liable. This is one of those situations where I feel Ebay should've stepped up and helped all of us out instead they turned their back and said it's your own fault. Don't trust the hundred percent moneyback, guarantee or buyer protection because it's a load of BS..
I was awarded two refunds by two different sellers for goods never received and got neither of them, despite the seller and eBay assuring me they were issued. Well, not according to my bank who said they weren't even pending. I have tried really hard to contact eBay but all you have is a basic page to refer to that fails to address your specific problems. Shockingly bad service.

I ordered an item on December 13th it is now January 8 I put in a refund request and they said they would give it till Jan 8th to be delivered! I called today and they said to call back tomorrow! I have an ongoing dispute with ebay. They have a prescribed policy for filing a "Notice of Dispute", prior to initiating arbitration. They do not respond within their own timeframe. Nobody can provide contact info to follow up on my complaint. Online responses are circular, bewildering and totally incompetent.

How many times have I received items that were described as being perfect and was received with grinding marks, dents just generally miss represented. I return the item after explaining to the seller what was wrong. Not leaving a neg feedback which I regret now. But find out when I go to bid on a item at a future date that I have been band from bidding. Banning someone is only supposedly for not paying for a item you won not as a tool for retaliation. I've contacted ebay and was told (we can't force someone to sell to someone they don't want to). Then please give me a list of sellers I have been banned by and why.

Ordered mirrors for my truck. Got toggle switch extensions (useless) Tried to get help from Ebay. They told me they couldn't locate the order.
I was so excited to start selling on eBay. I gave them everything they asked for. They put my account on hold twice just cause they kept forgetting that they had my documents already. During my hold, I had a buyer and I couldn't send them anything until EBay finally took me off account hold. I even gave that buyer extra product. After I shipped out three boxes EBAY hasn't paid me and they got mad cause i kept asking for my money, so they suspended my account and its beena month and no money. I basically got robbed
When you search for something to buy you see photos that are about 1/10 of the size of the box that they are in. You need a magnifying glass to see the photos.
Why would anyone sell on a site that charges so much when other sites are less expensive and have huge photos in the search.
I could write a novel here on every way that ebay has gone downhill in 20 years, but I'd rather move on and shop and sell somewhere else. Not worth the time to explain or complain anymore.
Change, and for the better or cease to exist...which ebay already has done.

EBAY endorse and back companies selling fake products claiming they are originals
I have dealt happily with eBay for years. Bought many fake Pandora charms. Still sterling silver but reproductions.
The last 2 charms I bought claimed to be original, and both turned out to be plated and of a very poor quality. The colour peeled off then after a couple of months. I sent the sellers an ebay pictures of the charms next to original charms. It was obvious to dear they were fake. I asked the seekers for a refund. One was generated by the seller, and the second seller wouldn't do obviously I reached out to Ebay to honour the refund as they promise. I then get an email from ebay saying they don't like the way I'm behaving in my account and that they think it's time to part ways and then banned me from EBAY. Wow so ebay endorse illegal trade in fake products and throw out clients who expect the original Pandora beads which they claim to be. THIS COMPANY IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY!

When looking for items, be sure to be fully informed to what you are shopping and use all that knowledge to cypher the listing, even then have found those that list items to be evasive on answers.
