Feedback is a tool for customers to review past dealings with sellers. Today ebay now blocks negative feedback on a fraudulent seller placing a false ad. 22 years I used ebay to buy products but after they blocked feedback on a mass seller who place a false ad and did nothing but open a return against my wishes. They claim human error on blocking my feedback but they still have it blocked. Never trust ebays buyer protection or feedback reviews because they pick and choose what feedback they allow. Im done with ebay after 22 years
Bought a iPhone as Excellent.
Screen had been replaced and not informed of that so TrueTone had been disabled by Apple by default. Phone was not excellent as advertised.
Sellers are allowed to use Fraudulent misleading Advertising practices. Then they closed the return window in 24 days not 30 and will not accept my return, Theives at ajn_store on EBay. EBay does not return a response ever.,.,
Notice ….no trutone under brightness slider
They now charge 10% on your sale, then add VAT to that 10%.
Also have to wait 14days before releasing your funds.
Never will use eBay again.
Ruined the second-hand buy and sell industry
Have been waiting 4 weeks for my refund. Item was never delivered, and seller refuses to issue a refund. Ebay is garbage regardless of wither you are a seller or a buyer.
Received an item from eBay when unpacked found the item to be damaged. Trying to contact customer services has been impossible.l will never again buy from eBay
EBay is a trash site, I am a new customer and I buy and sell and they keep banning my account for no reason they don't give me a reason for it. They're rude and don't care about their customers! Go else where screw eBay
I sold old phones on eBay that I've bought off eBay to resell. After I sold it and 2 days before pay out eBay accused me of theft of the phones, should them the receipts of purchase etc of the phones. Then was called racist names from multiple eBay customer service agents. Was also called stupid and a pos. Now instead of getting paid nov 23 2022 now I have to wait until March 20th 2023, this company is a joke and Amazon is better. Can't wait for eBay to go bankrupt and lose everything
I listed an item on ebay - the buyer paying for the shipping - ebay has now included "fees" to both buyer and seller. The buyer is paying 17 dollars for shipping and I am paying 14 dollars for the shipping label?!?!?!?!?!?!? Plus because I used the "reserve price" that ebay has always done - I am being changed 13.08!?!?!? I am sorry I didn't want my 200 dollar item being bought for 6 bucks! Also those two amounts are not subtracted by the price the buyer paid for the item - it for its some unexplained number that ebay just slaps on my account for what I am getting for my product!? So total I am getting 37 LESS than what the buyer paid! WHAT HAPPENED TO EBAY? I feel I was completely ripped off by ebay. I will never use them again and I am shutting down my account once I get my funds...
She misrepresented the size of a dress that I purchased from her. So I had to go through the hassle of trying to send it back. The package got lost/stolen in the mail. Then I was stuck with NOTHING. Meanwhile, she gets to keep my money (and) the thief gets a free dress. I left her neutral feedback. Why would I leave positive feedback when I was screwed by her AND the post office? She got free money. The postal thief got a free dress. And I have NOTHING. So yes, I posted neutral feedback.
She had my neutral feedback removed. I stated FACTS only. No personal insults. Nothing that I didn't have backed up by screenshots and emails. Ebay might have bought whatever lie she told to get my valid feedback removed, but that doesn't change the truth.
I sent her a picture of the dress that clearly showed HER MISTAKE. I sent her the THREE case numbers that I filed with the post office. The dress cost a measly $27. She would rather hold on to $27, than do the right thing and issue a refund due to a mistake that she made. I sell on Ebay as well. If were to mess up and send somebody the wrong thing (and the return got lost/stolen in the mail), I would just issue a refund. Especially if the buyer showed proof that they fought to get answers from the post office.
I'm not posting this, because I want a response. I'm posting this, because I want there to be something online that documents my experience. I know it's not going to affect her a darn bit. But I feel better knowing that just because she had my neutral review removed from Ebay, it doesn't stop me from posting my experience elsewhere.
Look out people sell on Etsy and Amazon. Buyer gave fake labels in pictures to EBay, and eBay sent them a return label but Buyer wouldn't return it, and then EBay helped a thief get my free Moncler worth over $1200! I had to also pay for shipping! Then eBay communicated appeal was not available for me!
Ebay's Authentication program is a scam, that supports shady dealers. I was sold a blantently damaged Kobe Bryant Topps Finest Heirs rookie card. There is bubbling in the dead center of the card, on Kobe's shoulder but this wasn't listed in description or viewable in the photos the seller dcsports87, provided. When I received the card I could see there was a problem with something on Kobe arm but had to open the ebay authentication seal to see if it was the ebay authentication bag, or the other two sleeves the card was in. Once I broke the ebay seal bag, Ebay said I could no longer return the card despite the 100% money back guarantee they constantly promote. The card is still in a sealed sleeve, so it can't be touched. Feel totally swinddled by the seller and dealer Ebay.
I just lost 50 bucks on a seller who never shipped the product and ebay stood behind them and refused to honor their guarantee. Never use them unless you like the risk of getting robbed.
I started an ebay store in my 20s. I was vary successful selling my used household items. I decided to step up and start a store. I used eBays seller program and was advised through eBay to a specific drop shipper I started using them because it was recommended from eBay. The drop shipper was a company out of China selling all kinds of goods. Come to find out listing the items from the recommended drop shipper got me a lifetime ban from selling on the platform. Because they were making counterfeit goods. Thanks eBay totally failed by your system. I recently tried to list and item that is new inbox. I know is authentic that I received at a company Christmas party even that to this day gets removed.
The worst customer support of industry
The worst customer support of industry. They will not ever provide a live representative to help you and all situations are not addressed by the site.
I have been trying to get a refund for an item that was never shipped to me and there is no help by the Ebay.
Will no longer buy from this site.
Ebay appears not to want to expose those who are dishonest or unethical. In some cases you do not know until after 60 days and there is no way to report a crook. I bought a standby generator and after installation the local service techs said the listing was completely dishonest. I contacted the seller who went dark after the first call and did not reply to any emails or eBay messages. EBay refuses to do anything. Summary, do not buy anything on eBay that cannot be confirmed before the 60 day deadline.
Not eBay is junk bay, do not trust eBay reviews on the seller account, and be super careful on your bigger purchase.
EBay is the old dinosaur of the online shopping experience. You would think they would do like other platforms to keep up with the times and even have their own shipping platform by now. Whether you're buying or selling it has because a disappointment. It's like the wish.com of American companies.
EBay is scamming people out of money sellers don't even collect. You can collect $10 to ship an item, pay the carrier $10 to ship the item and eBay comes along and charges YOU, the seller, 12% of that shipping fee. They need to go back to flat listing fees. Stealing from their sellers is unacceptable.
Im a longtime customer of ebay and I have listed a product to sell and followed all instructions. The next day I received an email my account was permanently suspended, I called in asking why and they say yes you did nothing wrong but we can't say why it was suspended and we can't reactivate. I asked to speak to a supervisor they said they are busy but they will call me back in 2 hours but no one has ever called me back.
Purchased what was supposed to be a radio and received a small plastic part. I reported it to eBay then I received two emails later saying it's delivered.
And since I bought as a guest they don't want to refund my money. The email had a link to create a account. But it won't let me use the email address I used to purchase the product. Go elsewhere and don't get screwed by a seller and eBay to!
Answer: I would never buy a used car without seeing it in person and having it checked out.
Answer: Ebay is a den of thieves. Even Ebay is evasive on complaints to answers. When looking for items, be sure to be fully informed to what you are shopping and use all that knowledge to cypher the listing, even then have found those that list items to be evasive on answers. Avoid ebay if possible!
Answer: For their own purposes and to protect dishonest sellers. I was once an avid EBay shopper, but now avoid EBay. Buyer protection no longer exists. You buy at your own risk.
Answer: Ebay sells nothing. You are dealing with private sellers. Some are good, some are not. The best way to determine this is to check the feedback. I personally never buy from anyone who has a feedback lower than 90%. 96% is considered bad, by Ebay. Take that with a grain of salt. Ebay management is nuts.
Answer: If you haven't already learned the hard way that Ebay is just pure bullshit when it comes to the sellers rights. When someone wants to send it back for any reason other than it doesn't work as described, you will be footing the bill. Not only will you lose the money you paid to ship it to them, Ebay will offer to provide a return label for them at your expense. Yep, that's right. They will bill you the price of the label if you don't provide it. Either way, you are paying for it to get back to you. It's get better. You can't leave negative feedback for the buyer either. It's not an option NO MATTER
Answer: Not to me! It's my main shopping tool! I look for good deals and free shipping!
Answer: Yes. You are right. All what people told you are correct. Don't trust ebay and the seller on ebay. Amazon much better than them. But anyway the best way to buy electronics from the local stores or official stores.
Answer: This depends on the seller of the item - carefully check their feedback and trust you intuition if you have doubts try another seller you feel safer with...
Answer: Hi Tom, As for reviews, you don't get them. It's called feedback. When you buy an item, the seller will probably leave feedback after you leave feedback for them. I hope that answers your question. Nancy
Answer: Depends on the seller. I wouldn't buy anything off ebay because there a crappy company.
Buy and sell electronics, cars, fashion apparel, collectibles, sporting goods, digital cameras, baby items, coupons, and everything else on eBay, the world's online marketplace
