I ordered online and received scuffed, used shoes. Its even more evident that they are used from where they were sent from- Returns Processing. They sent me returned shoes that someone obviously wore before returning them. I called to exchange them (I waited 19 minutes on hold) and they will not be here in time for the event I needed them for so now I must return for a refund. Which means, I must take time out of my day to drive to a DSW and return the shoes AND try to find new shoes for my event. I also emailed customer service and was first told the shoes were sent from an "alternate location" then I was told in a second email that they were "possibly" a return. The box I received reads "Returns Processing," it was a return despite how they want to spin it.
DSW very often sells goods that DSW doesn't have - Irritating Experiences. They lure you by offering a free bag with a $50 shoe purchase. They ship shoes and "sorry, we have no bag". Now that they offered me to buy a blue-white Nike bag, they did not have what they themselves offered! A totally screwed up inventory maintenance. Most irritating, I would even say dishonest. Hence ZERO STARS!
I will NEVER buy from them again. I had a lost package they were supposed to help me with. They basically blew me off. Their Customer Service Reps were extremely rude and not sympathetic at all. I was an excellent Customer of theirs but now I am done with them. They will never have my business ever again!
Horrible! By far the worse company definitely not reliable as far as shipping product! Extremely long-hold times! How can something be lost when it was never shipped ridiculous. I will never even even if it was free. I will never buy anything from this place ever again.
They sent me the boots in the wrong size... 2 sizes too small. What was really annoying was when I went to the website to see how to return them, it says to fill out the enclosed return/exchange form that came in the box (there wasn't one) and use the return label provided (there wasn't one) to send them back. So I tried to call and was on hold for 20 minutes before hanging up cause I had to go. Very disappointed, there is no DSW anywhere near me.
I recently ordered a Black Steve Madden purse online with my birthday coupon. All went great until I received the package with the wrong purse. I politely emailed customer service to explain my concern and was told that they were going to send me the purse I actually ordered with 2 day shipping. The shipping was definitely not 2 days since it took 4 days to get to me. When I received this order, I knew that something had gone wrong by the size of the box. It was small. I opened the box and there was a pair of New Balance socks inside. However, the correct order form was inside. I was very frustrated at this point and emailed customer service yet again. They requested that I go to the store for a refund since they are "unable to send me the replacement item". Not only am I inconvenienced by having to drive 30 minutes to a DSW store, but I never even got the product that I payed for. Ridiculous.
This is a joke. After 1 month without any notice about my order shipment, I wrote an email. I paid 10$ for a 5-7 days shipping but the unique person in charge of the company it seemed to me told me that anyway, it will take around 25 days to be treated.
Then she provided me my tracking number from China Post, which is all in Mandarin and I couldn't understand the notifications. I finally received a notice that the package was delivered. But I never received anything. So it's been 10 days now I sent an email about that and I have no answer back. So I paid 100$ almost 2 months ago and I received nothing plus no one is helping with the situation. It is actually a thief and I don't know how to deal with that.
I used to shop at DSW, because everything is displayed by style and size for easy selection. However, on at least 3 occasions the glue of the shoes I had bought dissolved and they fell apart. I would not be surprized if DSW -like so many other discount stores- buys rejects from the factory and then markets them at a healthy mark-up.
I only bought one pair so far for my wedding and I must say the shoes were affordable and good value for my money. There was a slight issue with my billing information but the customer service rep was very friendly and she dealt with it within minutes my shoes was shipped and I received it very quickly within a matter of days. I would definitely shop there again
Love, love, love this site! DSW was not available for us here in Canada until recently. I have bought from here three times - and never had an issue. Shipment was fast - customer service was wonderful!
My first time ordering from this company and all went well. The price was absolutely great -- $200 boots everywhere else on the web. I purchased mine for $59.99 + tax. Can't beat that. Again, this is my first time ordering from this company online. Will re-review in the future if i purchase anything else.
DSW is a very busy company. They do not make their own shoes they sell other companies. So when there is something wrong with a shoe that is the manufacturer. Dsw can in no way remake the shoe and sell it the same. They have to have there policies or they will lose a lot of money. I never have a problem with them.
I have never bought shoes online but the economy is falling apart and I am looking to save money where I can. Several people recommended this site on sitejabber so I ordered some shoes and they were shipped fast and reliably. I already knew they fit because I tried them on at Nordstroms. Saved $75.
I placed an online order a few weeks ago with EXPRESS shipping. No product, and there's a second hold on my credit card. You can't reach ANYONE by phone, or live chat with a 60 minute plus wait time... and canceling your order by email is just as ridiculous!
This is the second go around buying 90 plus dollar dress shoes and again DSW fails miserably. I order a pair of Steve Madden dress shoes that cost me 95.35, these are not suppose to be a cheap pair of 40-50 dollar shoes and when I received the shoes they were scuffed up on the tops and there were two good size chunks taken out of the side of the rubber soles, unbelievable! I will absolutely not shop at DSW again and would recommend the same, if I can upload pictures to this post they will be there, I am extremely disappointed. DSW based on my experience should be a second hand or used shopping shoe store.
Ok, I am not just recommending this one because I am a woman and I love shoes, they really do have a good website. So many shoes, so many sales, always have my size... did I mention so many shoes? They sometimes offer free shipping too and other discounts/promotions (they send them by email, so you may have to sign up). I don't know about their customer service, because I have never had to use it!
DSW has the widest variety of brands of shoes I've ever seen. I have feet problems and I know I can find the best podiatrist recommended shoes that are stylish I can wear all day in comfort. The prices are amazing! Staff is there to help yet give you your privacy if you wish. Highly recommend DSW!
Sounds like a great offer, until you pick out the shoes and find out they are excluded from the offer. There is an entire list of Brands 50+ that are excluded from this offer. Good luck finding a brand with a shoe you like that is
