They will have hidden charges to your credit card, they will also charge for return shipping. Nowhere on their site is there any warning of being charged return or hidden membership fees. They play with words and trick you.
Ordered something on site and not only have I never received it but I have emailed 3 times and they get back with ALL wrong info and calling me by other names! ARE u kidding me! CAN they NOT see the info of where the email came from and the customer number! I am now waiting on phone for like 20 minutes and NOTHING yet! NEVER AGAIN!
Placed order in Nov they asked for down payment, ($70)sent that. Today I get a cheap China made bag and they'd charged me $16 for delivery of $12.99 bag. Said everything else is out of stock or discontinued. Refuse to give my money back untill I send the cheap bag back. No one speaks clear English. BUYER BEWARE
I've been ordering from this company for years, long before they were on the web. They are a long-standing direct mail ordering house. They feature personal care products and health supplies. They're prices are very reasonable. But, be wary, some of the items are downright cheap! Yet, they can be selling some real gems on occasion. If your ordering an item and it goes onto backorder, be prepared to wait. They'll get the item to you, eventually, from my experience or send a coupon or voucher. They are a bit slow on sending items out, but, one can request expedited service(by telephone).
Ordered a pair of compression stockings in size that size chart said I wear. Got them and they don't fit cannot get them on. I see you have a 100% satisfition if you are not satisfied with the product return it for exchange or refund. No questions asked. I would like to return them for a refund. Please let me know because I Can't wear them.

I ordered some items for my elderly mother back in May two of her items were back ordered til June 2 then til June 12 now still waiting til June 19. This is ridiculous I've never had to wait so long for items to get shipped. Customer service doesn't answer emails let alone the phone lines. I am very disappointed.
My 87 year-old dad asked me to order some items for my mom for Christmas. The catalog itself didn't give me a good feeling. Appears very cheap, as well as the items within it. Upon attempting to order online, my second red flag was the web site being unsecured, which is a big no-no when ordering online. Then, when I tried placing an item in the cart, my computer security program wouldn't allow that option. So, I decided to read some reviews about the company, and thanks to all of you before me, I will heed your warnings & not deal with this company. I will find the items elsewhere. Thanks a ton!
I ordered for my elderly Mom. The person on the phone was very hard to understand but assured me the shipping was free. When the total was higher than expected I asked him to break it down. He again told me the shipping was free but there was a charge for postage. I told him it is the same thing and he kept saying shipping is free. I believe that most customers are elderly and they are being taken advantage of. We used this service for convenience but found that because of their "hidden" charges, we can find the same products for much cheaper... almost half at Walmart!
Have ordered for years with this company with no problems until now. I had ordered 2 exact pairs of house slippers back in March 2020. Once the package arrived saw that 1 pair was somewhat defective in size. Before the 30 days were up I tried contacting customer service with no avail due to being closed for the Covid virus. I did not want to wait past that time frame so I used the "Smart Label" with a note stating what the problem was and not being able to contact anyone. I figured with the slippers being defective and asking for a refund would be no problem. Approximately 1 month later sent an email about refund. Finally got a email stating they received the slippers and would refund me $. 82 since I used their "smart label". This is outrageous. I sent back another email explaining again why they were sent back, it has been another month & no response. Not a good way to treat their customers.
The only things "free" about Dr. Leonard's so-called free shipping is the freedom with which they abuse the English language and deceive people- many of them elderly.
They advertise free shipping but then add on $3.95 for "handling" and $1.95 for "priority service" and "replacement".
What? -no charges for using their website?
This is NOT what is meant by free shipping at most other web sites and catalogs.
People should complain about these add on or hidden fees and misleading come-ons.
They claim free shipping but charge you for "handling" and "priority" (though their shipping is not fast) and something for "handling returns" whether you return a product or not. It all adds up to shipping charges. Why they want to tell customers an obvious lie, who knows, but says a lot about how they treat customers and their honesty.
I ordered a christmas gift on November the 2nd so it has been a month and they still have not shipped my order. I will never order from them again and I advise anyone to be leary of this company. You would think they don't care about the reputation of their company.
We ordered an item from here, and waited over a month for it to arrive. When it did, it was the wrong item and didn't even refund us for the whole price! On top of that, customer service was rude and not helpful.
I received a catalogue telling me I had pre-approved credit through Shop Now Pay Later. This is the same credit I have with the Carol Wright catalogue. When I tried to place an order online, the payment option did not include the credit plan. I called the number on the web site. Long story short, I was told if I wanted to use the credit plan I would have to place my order by phone. If I wanted free shipping, my ebates rewards and the 10% discount I would have to use a credit card. I am very disappointed. They lost a $50 order and will not be given a second chance by me. I can get the same merchandise from Carol Wright. I just have to wait for it to offer free shipping again.
~Purchased wide width shoes on 10/31/20 & when received~they were NOT wide width. I returned them paying for return postage myself because no return label was provided. I paid $25 for them PLUS postage and tax. My refunded amount? SEVEN DOLLARS! Called the company & dealt with a snarky cs person~while I remained calm and polite. Was told that my $25+ was to be refunded back to my card in standard business time (7 to 10 days) and NEVER saw a penny of it. Just got off the phone again and they are refusing to refund the amount I paid! I told them the $7 refunded just covered the postage. CS responded with the same "song and dance". I will probably have to call back a third time and end up eating the cost. Never doing business with them again.
I requested to be removed from their mailing list over a year and a half ago. I moved and suddenly I'm getting their stupid catalog again. How did they get my new address?
I called customer service and asked for a manager, they said the manager was on lunch and would call me back when they returned. NEVER CALLED, I'm still getting the damn catalog!
My 83 year old mother was conned into signing up for a monthly subscription service while ordering an item. She has a 6th grade education and does not have the ability to discern an upsell. They told her she would get sales and special pricing, however, she only has bought 2 items ever and would never have a need for a monthly discount. When you deal with older adults you need to be careful and have ethics that prevent you from taking advantage of those who are not capable of understanding the new Internet scamming ways. Shame on you!
I ordered some pants, for 12.99 each. Quality is so so, not the best. However shipping charges were quoted for 8.99. I found a coupon if you buy for $50.00 plus for $ 5.00. After applying the coupon suddenly the shipping charges increased by $ 1.95 for insurance, which is crap because Fed Ex does not charge for insurance for $50.00. The package was shipped via Fed Ex not USPS. I get the run a round with this company and I requested a refund of 1.95 which I still have not received. Will not buy from this company again. Do not trust their business handling.
Stay away from this place! I called to place a order after going to their website and the website said the price of my order was $30.44 but when i tried to place the order over the phone they jacked the price up by almost $10.00! Plus they can not at all speak a lick of English.
Answer: When size is wrong and there is a return for credit to your card~don't expect the full amount! The will rip you off and you'll get next to nothing back. This company runs a scam.
