Mediocre Products at high prices

Found that what i ordered was frequently "sold out" even though they still had it listed in several subsequent catalogs, they over-charge on bras all the time(and blame technology when it's conveniently in their favor) are quick to offer a refund check which unless you call them several times will not be the correct amount per product and no shipping charges or taxes paid on products you do not receive will be refunded. They don't tell you that they expect you to contact them to make sure an item is available in the first place so they don't care. They should offer a "suitable replacement" check-box like more reputable companies that give a care about their customers. Also clearance items can't even be returned no matter how weirdly they fit-jeans that are enormous in the front is awkward for us women. I tried to request replacements several times and it was not until i finally was transfered to a finance lady here in the U.S. that even that could be arranged. Once they claimed not to be able to read my perfectly legible handwriting and failed to send a dress i had hoped for as a birthday present. Not only did it get cancelled but they tried to charge even more for the bra. Since i had to argue that tiny 2 item order it came out after all the fees levied to be a practically twenty dollar bra instead of the promised 6.99 just a cloth comfort wear to bed one at that. The shirts are nice, but i had to fight to get the buy2get3rd free deal honored because they were out of one choice a male rep with an asian accent said i was denied a third at all, no leggings and just to accept that. Finally the competant woman a different woman representative connected me too resolved the issue by sending a different color of a shirt i liked[of equal value] in place of the leggings and another bra for the tacked on shipping charge when they didn't accept their free code on the magazine. Be warned-they prioritize card purchases over the phone to mail-in and may not be respectful the first few times you call in attempt to rectify the situation. Bet they are hoping older folks and lazy people will just give up and allow the loss! The cozy corner front-close bras are great, but what they won't tell you is those are made in china and tops in india so it's just about the record profits anyhow like all other sold-out companies...

Tip for consumers:

Call ahead, if you are comfortable using a card they prioritize those who do be sure you really want the item and order a size larger than you think you'll need as they're made in smaller sized person countries.

Products used:

Shirts-turtlenecks,pintuck tops Bras-leisure and no bones jeans-black side elastic slippers-black cherry style

Not a happy customer!

Over the years I have ordered several items from Dr. Leonard's catalog with little to no problems. However, I recently ordered a sofa saver and dryer balls from them. When the order arrived I had just the sofa saver. I called the company only to be continually put on hold for " 1 or 2 minutes" which turned out to be 5-6 minutes. I explained that I never received the dryer balls and asked if they were being shipped separately. The person on the phone asked me "are you sure they were not included" to which I told her that I wasn't blind that I could see they were not in the box and I wasn't in the habit of defrauding businesses over dryer balls. She said she would put in an order for them to resend them. The next day I checked and found that they had debited my card for $2.90. I called again and was told that the price was different that what it was when I ordered them. After 20 minutes of explaining that this was not my mistake that I refused to pay more for them. This person continued to say that the original price was incorrect when I placed my order. Again I reminded her that it was their error not mine and that I would not pay extra. As I had a receipt from them with the price less a 15% discount. They were to be expedited to me in 2-3 days without this charge. However, the next day I find another charge of. 90 on my card. I called again to asked them why was their another charge since I had already paid up front for the items and again I would not be paying anything additional. I ended up speaking with a "supervisor" who said she would refund the. 90 cents but that it would take 5-7 days. She could not tell me what the. 90 charge was for so I asked her if this is what they do to customers who are trying to get them to correct their mistakes. I asked the "supervisor" if this was my penalty for letting them know they made a mistake by not including the full order. I also let her know that I was expecting a refund for both the amounts taken without my express permission and I did not want to wait 5-7 days for a refund as it only took them 1 day to take the funds from my card. I asked them to remove me from their catalog mailing list but today I received another of their catalogs. All I can say now is watch out people if you order from them and they screw up that you may pay for each time that you contact them to get their mistake corrected.
