Where shall I start? Maybe 7 years ago the quality of the oils was better, but now, their prices went thru the roof and they are watered down
My Wife talks up your products and sells them, however the pricing has gone way up, here in Calif I'm a member and when I looked at my prices they were165% lower than in Brazil, we have 1000's who follow us in social media. All I can say Good luck in the future your products are now smaller sized now and way over priced. Very unhappy with Corp profit always come first not your members.
Dear all, from what I understood, this company is operating as a cult. They tell you only 20% of information to get you in the system and then you are fu**ed. Especially if you sign in to the Loyalty program. You will have to purchase something EVERY month, and if you don't, they will charge you automatically for the previous order. I trusted the consultant who signed me up, without checking the reviews. Big mistake. It took me 1 month of back and forth to cancel the account. And they still haven't sent a confirmation that it was done. Please take care of yourself, your money, and your emotional peace.
I have been buying Doterra oils for nearly 7 years and never had any problems, or complaints from my family and friends who use them. They have made my life so much better with pain control, improved health, education and charities, that I think overrides any problems other reviewers have had with administration. Some people have been unethical in handling clients accountants etc., and the company discourage this which I hope will persuade everyone to maintain the high moral tone of Doterra in future. Thank you Doterra for helping my aging body to restore joy in my life.
I bought a couple of essential oils, paid but received no response, not even an online receipt. Fortunately, I took a photo of the purchase, also the money was taken from my account. Two weeks later, I've received nothing and have had no response from anyone. Seems no one is answering the phones in the US (so left more out of pocket) nothing on the wassup, the email *******@doterra.com or the essential oil shop who stock them, sent photos, yet still no responses. I don't know where to go from here. Absolute scam!
I was harassed on Social Media for several hours by one of their contractors over a meme that I did not create. Arena Cheney kept trying to be little me and harass me continuously after first contacting me on Facebook. Someone who is aggressive and hostile, should not be able to interact with the public if they're being violent.
I became a customer in 2016. I cancelled my membership in 2017. The card attached to the account expired in 2019. Two weeks ago (8/2023) all of a sudden my account was charged more than $50. I called they said they would credit it back 2-5 business days. It's now been 11 business days still nothing.
Why be fooled by this company oil and water don't mix our bodies are made up of water what happens to water when you add oil it doesn't mix so you aren't absorbing anything this stuff is junk. You should be taking a fluid not oil. Do your research. Remember read labels. I actually found a product that is fluid and has 30 day guarantee or you can get a refund I've taken this other product for a year now and I have results no filters or photo shopping of photos.
I made the mistake of ordering the same product twice. When I realized my error, I left a message right away to cancel. I followed up first thing in the morning to cancel. They could not cancel my order even though the item had not even been shipped. I am very cautious with companies like this. Not impressed.
I am a new diffusor user. I ordered over 200 dollars worth of assorted diffusing oil and a diffusor. DoTerrra sent me a broken diffusor so I returned it. I'm still waiting on the replacement. It's been three weeks since my initial order and customer service could not be less helpful or concerned. I will not be using this company again.
When I joined as a "builder" I was told I would be paid in credits and not taxed. As I was never paid but paid in goods I was written a taxable income slip to claim their "credits" I was not able to convert these credits to cash. I am very disappointed in how the company does business.
Tried to refer my man and his family to my essential oils through DoTerra, they put him on recurring charges and then lied to me about what was going on when I inquired about it as nothing went through on my side that I got the commission for it. I had just recently changed my email on it so it was through my email from my practice. And was emailing with the old email and they wouldn't talk to me about what was going on so I changed the email I was sending from and they are still saying that they won't talk to me due to that reason. They have the heads so far up the butts they can't make heads or tails of what's going on. This is a completely headache and I had a exosomes treatment today which was very emotional and draining for me I didn't need this too. I will blast this to all my family and friends and patients about how their customer service is. This isn't worth it to me and I'm too busy running two separate businesses and still trying to find time for myself and my animals.
Their products are not cheap. On top of it they charge $25 yearly membership renewal and send every year the same unwanted peppermint oil as a "gift" to compensate for this charge. You can't choose a gift that you actually need. A choice between 2 or 3 products would be great. The last straw was my order of the sunblock lotion. Please, see the pictures of two sealed containers, how much of the product they actually contain and how misleading the container size is. The customer service explained that the manufacturer chooses to leave empty space so there is no pressure in the container. I responded that for the 13 cm long tube 6 cm of empty space seems like overkill. And it's uneven from one tube to another. They told me they are not responsible for the manufacturer's choice! I am speechless.
They try to convence me to buy the oils they got really mad when I told them no.plus he told me I have to modify the actitud of my life. Think twice if you want to buy it the oils doesn't work at all. Plus too expensive.
As I was checking out today, I checked my cart and paid, as I pressed pay I saw they had automatically added an annual membership fee into my cart without warning, or asking permission to proceed. Customer service apologized that their is no warning but said too bad they can't refund... I find this disappointing. I have been a customer for years, but I did not wish to renew this time due to finances.
Doterra started out well but in the last year they have really watered down their oils. Past Tense to be particular. It used to help muscle soreness and warm up but now it just stinks. The smell isn't the same the feeling isn't the same it's just watered down crap. It's another greedy company just after their bottom dollar. Definitely buyer beware and a total letdown. Don't waste your money people!
I having been using doterra for quite awhile. It is disappointing on all fronts: ordering, website, delivery, so-called points value. I get oils that are just as good from Plant Therapy and they are much better than doterra in all departments. I only order what I can't find from other companies and I'm tempted to just forget that and deal with researching my own replacements. Don't even go there.
I placed an order tried to cancel within few hours, their number doesn't work and the online chat asks for your social, and they told me they can't refund money working few hours, order has not even shipped, extremely expensive, liar liars. Go to young living! Much better customer service
Causes rashes and horrible health problems.Typical pyramid scheme.an absolute horrible company.Should not be allowed to take advantage of sick people..
I signed up with doTerra a few weeks ago. It's been a horrible experience to say the least. The wellness advocate who signed me up took 35 dollars in cash from me and pocketed it. DoTerra has no record of me paying the money. To make matters worse this woman used my credit card information and placed a doTerra order under my name. DoTerra's responded with" We are sorry you are unhappy " Unhappy is NOT the word I would use. This company is a joke.
Answer: Because people will buy doterra products, pull off the top without damaging it, remove some of the oil and replace it with something else to fill it up again to make a profit. This is not doterra approved
Answer: Scam, the use an illegale piramide scam... illegale scam
