Because people will buy doterra products, pull off the top without damaging it, remove some of the oil and replace it with something else to fill it up again to make a profit. This is not doterra approved

The oils on Amazon can come from anywhere and a lot of them are fake. People buy them and fill them with other things. They are knock offs and should not be trusted.

I have no idea. To undercut the market possibly? To guarentee their personal sales. Not sure if they are the legitimate quality that is stated by doterra.

They seem to be more expensive on Amazon from what I can see. You can become a 'distributor' with doterra for $35. You don't have a minimum order or need to sell to others. But this gives you a 25% discount everytime you do purchase from them. Which then makes it cheaper than Amazon.

Because DoTerra is an MLM company which forces their "distributors" to buy volume in order to keep it up and get paid. Extra products means stockpiling and the distributors would rather get something for the money they spent. That's why Amazon has their products for less.

You will notice the complete opposite with Melaleuca. Any Melaleuca products found on Amazon sell for 2 to 4 times the price they can be purchased for direct from the company. Nobody stockpiles Melaleuca products and thus why nobody needs to try and sell them off on Amazon.
