More often than not, whatever I buy at Dollar Tree is just about worthless. And furthermore, they need to change their name because nothing there costs a dollar. Many items have gone to $1.50, $3, $5, etc. I bought the Vantage Car Wash & Wax for $3 and it is pure junk, mostly water. I could have spent $1 more at Walmart and got the stuff I usually use and it is great. I am going to boycott Dollar Tree and you should too. They sell crap and crap isn't a bargain at any price.
Upon completing my purchases. I got home and discovered 4 paid purchases not in my bag. I immediately reached out to the store via phone call to report missing items. The sales associate denied items left behind, refused to let me speak with cashier who taken care of me. I asked what is the stores policy on not receiving paid for items. She became defensive and aggressive in her reply back" I don't see anything here, someone else got your items, that's is your problem, not mines, I can't help you."unable or unwillingness to answer my original question and refusing to let me speak with sales clerk that rung me up left me no choice but to believe that she is the person who taken my items. Feeling unvalued as a customer, and display lack of integrity I chose not to continue with the perceived hostile conversation and ended the call. It shouldn't matter how much or how little the customer spends, its about ethics and integrity which she lacks thereof.
Time and time and time again stores have refused to honor/follow Dollar Tree's return policy clearly posted on the Dollar Tree website. "No refund (w/receipt), only exchange" WRONG. "No return/exchange of unopened, unused body spray/wipes" WRONG. "No exchange without receipt" WRONG. Does corporate care? NO. I care though. I care that a company the size of Dollar Tree doesn't insist that ALL of their stores abide by THEIR OWN POLICIES. I've considered consulting an attorney. Sometimes it's really all about principles.
I'm shocked because I come to this dollar tree often this time in particular I had a return the return had all the tags on them and I also bought the receipts with me. The general manager with the lashes and way too much Makeup was very rude as well as her cashier never coming back to this location again.
I left very dissatisfied from the dollar tree. I went to exchange two items snickers instant pudding because they were bad and the sales associate jeanine said she wasn't going to exchange them I showed her the items are closed not open and still said no. She even said any of the food I bought from the dollar tree that turns out to be rancid it won't be exchanged. She said that's the dollar tree policy. If that's true that's a horrible policy. It's not my fault dollar tree sells bad food. I loved shopping at dollar tree but I'm going to shop elsewhere from now on. I doubt people will keep shopping there when they found out about from social media about this return policy.
ME AND CURSING AND IN MY FACE AND WOULDNT STOP UNTIL I TOLD HER TO STOP AND COULD OF CAUSED RACE RIOT IN THE STORE AND SHE IS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND PUT MY LIFE IN DANGER AND STARTED WITH OTHER EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS AS WELL!
Customer service is HORRIBLE. THEY HAVE THEIR REPRESENTATIVES LYING TO THE PUBLIC! I ORDERED A GIFT CARD TO BE SENT OUT AS A GIFT AND THEY ARE CONTINUALLY SAYING SINCE THERE IS NO TRACKING NUMBER THEY CANT HELP ME FIND THE ORDER. WELL I DUG A BIT FARTHER AND FOUND OUT THEY DONT USE TRACKING NUMBERS JUST REGULAR POSTAGE STAMPS, BUT STILL WONT HELP ME TO FIND OUT WHERE THE GIFT CARD IS.TO TOP IT OFF YOU CAN HARDLY UNDERSTAND THEIR REPRESENTATIVES, THEY BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH.SO SHAME ON THE DOLLAR TREE AND THEIR LYING REPS! I WILL BE REPORTING THIS INFORMATION TO MY LAWYER ABOUT FALSIFYING INFORMATION.
Cashier swore at me and was bossy with every customer in line, reprimanding everyone for placing the greeting cards upside down and placing the conveyor separator in the wrong place. Falsely accused me of swearing at her to put me on the defensive for her actions, however as mentioned, she actually swore at me. Argued and talked back with rudeness. Manager was not supportive and made excuses for her
I recently bought a carton of Allen's Cranberry Cocktail Juice, that contained, mentrual blood!. Yes!. You heard me right, with the blood clot and some kind of paper, or membrane, also in the container. I took pictures of it. I had bought this product, recently, from a Dollar Tree Canada's store, at 1224 Dundas Street, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and their response, since I had also contacted them about this, (Which they also witnessed, for themselves), was less than receptive. I am going to sue both Dollartree and Lassonde, a Canadian owned company. I have not contacted, the owner of Allen's Cranberry Cocktail Juice, as yet, Dollar Tree Canada's response, was disgusting. They refused, to do a recall and to take the remaining, boxes of cranberry juices, off of the shelf, at the store. I was so f--k--g traumatized, it's not even funny. Avoid buying any kind of juices, or food products, at Dollar Tree Canada, stores. And also since this is a Lassonde's product, avoid their food products, especially cranberry juices and other kinds of juices, as well. You will end up drinking, menstrual blood, that is contained, in their products. See the pictures, that I have posted, showing the menstrual blood clot, in the cup. And coming from the same product, beside the cup, the box of Allen's Cranberry Cocktail.
Sitejabber, blocks me from posting the images, here. See Dollar Tree Canada, Facebook page.
Lulu is the manager and she has been for quite some time. I shop there on a daily basis and even more frequently since the closing of the 99 cent store. I was just in the store this morning and Lulu was chatting with some of the workers who were at the register buying some products for themselves there were about four or five people in front of me and they kept on chatting 5 to 7 later they just kept chatting being disrespectful for the customers in the line. This isn't the first time that this happened as I have had the same experience dozens of times and she acts like the world revolves around her and I have also seen other people do the same thing as myself as they were frustrated and feeling disrespected. She is one of the worst managers in that respect I have ever seen and I have had conversations with her before and she is aware of these issues but does nothing. I have already called corporate to complain but they are often a joke themselves in overseeing the stores and the managers. I was charging my cell phone or I would have taken pictures and video to document the lack of respect for the customers that were waiting in line. If she worked for me I would fire her as her attitude is very poor and she repeatedly disregards what's in the best interest of the customers. And furthermore she does not properly train other workers when there is a line at the cash register I've seen 7 to 10 people in line and no one calls for backup. All you need to do is go to the store once or twice and you will see exactly what I'm talking about and ultimately she is costing Dollar Tree money by irritating and annoying customers like myself. All I want to do is get what I need and check out and not have to put up with a ridiculous drama and waiting repeatedly because she is not a good manager.
Kate really happens to be all in all rude, pushy, frigid, cynical, arrogant, obnoxious and irritating as far as branch manager that openly makes you feel like a gigantic nuisance and i will never come back to dollar tree facility being located as far as roseland community with regard to santa rosie all in all generally through northern california
I purchased $200.00 worth of artificial flowers for my sons wedding and the bride decided she wanted to go with fresh flowers instead. Only 2 weeks later I contacted the customer service department for directions on returning the flowers and was told that ALL Dollar Tree purchases were final. I told them that their website clearly stated that refunds with receipt and tags on product could be refunded. Representative just kept repeating "sorry for the inconvenience"! Wow how can you get away with giving false return policy information on a website. I was robbed 200.00 and now im stuck with 200 artificial flowers! Horrible! People beware. They are thieves.
For a $1.25 (plus sales tax) you get what you want. Decent new stuff in packaging that is more of a puzzle then filling up a Dollar Tree basket.
Bring your own sturdy bag, cuz their bags are useless.
The store on maynardville Pike in Knoxville TN does not have heat. It's like shopping in a freezer. They also have no working phone. Not a great way to run a business.
I live in Mandeville, La. I shop at the Dollar Tree near St. Ann and Hwy 22. I also shop at the one on 190. First, the store on Hwy 22 and St. Ann is always very clean and in order 99% of the time. A young lady by the name of JoAnn has the best work ethics I've seen in a very long time, because of her I shop there! Second, the store on Hwy 190 was impeccable. A young man there whose name is Corey, would stop his work to show me what I was looking for. Again, Corey has the best work ethics, very unusual in these days. However, when I went on hwy 190 two days ago the store wasn't looking so good. I assumed Corey wasn't working that day. I pray he still works there, because he would not let the store get like that. That gentleman was always working non stop! Yes, I do realize it's Christmas time. :) He would have been out on the floor working hard to get it in order.
Admittedly, I was hesitant ordering from the Dollar Tree especially with an item that has a "Best Buy" date but my purchase turned out to be a pleasant experience with savings. Quicker delivery than expected and no issues or delays when picking up and as far the best date, more than 2 years away. What I bought is fresh.
Listen, there are sooo much you can find in the Dollar tree. Xmas is coming up, so I decided to check this place out. Like, maybe I can find some pretty snow globes or arrangements. Imagine my surprise when I found a TON of absolutely beautiful stuff for absolutely dirt cheap. Now I shop there on the regular, my favorite store for sure
I ordered a case of yarn then before it was shipped asked if I could exchange it, take it back to the local store or return for return the answer is no no no! The fact you can't return it is not clearly stated!
I am a frequent visitor to the Dollar Tree on University drive in Denton Texas. Pretty much everyone who has waited on me in line has been polite, and helpful. Even if they don't carry on a conversation with me while ringing up my items, they at least respond when I say hello or how are you doing today. Unfortunately, Friday friday after Thanksgiving this year was the first time. I had been totally ignored by the cashier. I realize black ftoday is not a great ti'm to be in retail. I myself worked 13 years at target the weekend after Thanksgiving because it was mandatory. Despite the chaos, despite the rude customers, Despite the environment being hectic and sometimes toxic. I still managed to say hello to someone who greeted me first. Ritza, who I have never seen before declined to respond when I said to her after placing my items on the conveyor belt, Hello, how are you? Maybe she did not hear me.
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. She did not verbally tell me my total and she also handed me my receipt without a word. Maybe she can't speak was the first thing I thought but a retail job is not an ideal situation for someone who is mute. Bottom line. I don't need someone to smile in my face and carry on a lengthy conversation with me. But I do expect a response to my very friendly and genuine hello. There is no excuse for rudeness. If the customer before me did something to upset or anger her, that has nothing to do with me. She needs to shake that off and start a clean slate with the next customer. Hopefully she was just having a bad day, or she was still getting adjusted to the position. If not hopefully she puts in her 2 week notice, quits and finds a job she likes that will motivate her to be friendlier.
Dollar tree stores are connected Connected to family dollar I just wonder if Do you show the rat Infested products that came from Family Dollar stopush, they have a $3 $5 lane and now they have. Of course, the $20 five, which it may increase. I would be afraid to purchase any products out of their freezer area where the drinks are. Because they're off the nasty black and dirty.
Answer: It means you have to buy a certain quantity, full stop, and they each cost a dollar plus tax and shipping, or free shipping if they send it to a store.
