I have been a member of the Houma LA Planet Fitness for about 18 months and the experience seems to get worse every visit. There are multiple employees behind the counter playing on their phones instead of greeting customers and walking around the facility making sure the place is clean and orderly. The men's locker room always stinks. Paper towel dispensers are often empty and the same hand sanitizer machine has been out of order for a month. The parking lot looks like an earthquake hit it (potholes and huge cracks). A homeless guy hangs around the front door and yells at people. There is no supervision while rowdy/unruly people curse, slam equipment, hog machines (sitting on them for extended periods playing on their phone), use 2 machines at one time (walking back and forth), and on 3/10/23 around 6 pm there was a fight because this annoying guy who keeps hanging around hollering at people (staff does nothing) annoyed a group of friends who were trying to enjoy their workout in peace. The employees are lazy and I never see a manager on duty (I usually go on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday around 5 pm). I have talked to others who have cancelled their membership and gone to other gyms. I have a treadmill in my home and I am thinking about buying a bicycle and ending the dismal experience of dreadful visits to the Houma Planet Fitness.

We have tried several times to call the IRS to resolve an issue and either get a recording saying they are too busy and call later or the 2 times we waited on hold for a long time and finally spoke to an agent, they just put us on hold and then disconnected us. We have tried to go into our local office in Houma LA and were told we were not allowed in and to call the IRS instead. Duh, we tried that already. As a registered voter and tax payer I say defund the IRS and let's start all over again with all new employees who are not lazy and incompetent.

I went to the Macy's website and tried to purchase a men's diamond ring. It was not available in store so I tried to order it online. An offer of 20% off my purchase by opening a Macy's card popped up. I have an 820 credit score so I figured why not. I did the application and got a message to call them with additional information. I did, and had to deal with Citibank, big mistake. I've dealt with Citibank before. They are the most incompetent organization I have ever dealt with. You have to speak with foreigners in other countries. You can't understand them and they don't know what they are doing. Big companies like Macy's cut costs by outsourcing jobs that should be going to Americans and instead pay people in other countries, pitiful. They asked some basic questions and said I was approved. Then the chaos started. I tried placing my order for the diamond ring and kept being switched back and forth between credit and the online purchasing departments with long holding periods each time. Every time I was switched I spoke with a different person who gave me a different story. I finally got so frustrated I just told them to cancel/close the charge account. The next day I received an email from a credit monitoring site that reported my score dropped because of the Macy's inquiry. The whole thing was a nightmare. This was my second and last horrible shopping attempt with Macy's, never again. My advice, ban/boycott Macy's and Citibank and save yourself a ton of headaches.

I am a registered independent voter and like to watch a variety of news/opinions but it is glaringly clear each time I watch CBS morning news with Gayle King that she and the entire program is anti Trump, anti Republican, anti conservative, and blatantly support bleeding heart liberals. I never hear anything that is negative about democrats or democratic candidates, only bashing and trashing of the current president. Just to let you know I have banned CBS programming in my home which includes the morning news, evening news (Nora McDonald is just as bad as Gayle King), and all other shows. It seems like NBC and ABC are getting to be just as biased as CBS so as a registered independent it appears the only place to find truly fair and balanced reporting is Fox News. At least they invite guests and opinions from both sides of the aisle and give viewers the opportunity to make up their own mind instead of trying to brainwash. Shame on you CBS.

I went online and ordered a chaise lounge chair that was suppose to be available at my local Academy in Thibodaux Louisiana. The morning I went to pick it up I got a call from the store saying the chair isn't available. I told the associate they should not advertise a product they don't have for sale. About an hour later they called back and mysteriously they had a chair for me. I went to pick it up and when I got home and opened the box I found the chair to be banged up, scuffed, and very used. I noticed a shipping label on the box with another customers name on it. Clearly it had been returned and now Academy was trying to resell a damaged chair to me, SHAMEFUL. When I went to return the chair I asked for a manager. I was told her name is Natalie but she was too busy to talk with me. I asked for the district managers name and contact information but the associate refused to provide it. I went home and called corporate. They told me the district managers name was Michelle Allen and they would have her contact me. I never heard back from her and I called corporate again multiple times and got nothing but excuses. Sounds like Academy is full of cowards and poorly trained staff only interested in making a fast buck. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years at Academy, but no more. I will tell my family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors to spend their cash elsewhere. After all, there is nothing at Academy that I can't get somewhere else, and probably for less money.
