On this day 01/25/2024 I arrived at the Dollar tree store number 4710. Bradenton Florida *******. I was met with a crazed female manager. Altho, I was not aware she held the position as the manager at that very store I was most certainly surprised to be made aware that she was indeed. I've reside in the same area of Bradenton Florida ******* and have done so for over 5 years and I do frequent this store. I have only noticed this person on about three or for times inside this store. On one occasion I elected to make verbal contact with her and ask her a question and the experience wasn't good. She answered with much forceful rudeness, arrogance and enflamed attitude. I followed up with a hum! And departed from her. I really did see it coming. I had one item to purchase and stood in a long line where she operated the register. When it was my turn to check out I began looking down to grab money out of my hand when all of a sudden both her hands were waveing perfusely in my face, she loudly repeated the word Hello! Several times, at least three back to back. It was like she couldn't wait to become not only unnecessarily rude but, but it was combined with no tact all directed towards me. I replied "Don't put your hands in my face and offered the words "this is not the first time you've been rude to me in this store. She abruptly slammed her hand down on the item I was attempting to purchase and threw it under the registers counter. This action was followed by the words she spued at me " Get out my store" I replied Okey! I then walked away from her reguster back into the store to locate a second item of the same kind to purchase and proceeded to the next register away from her. I heard her telling the next customer that was behind me " I don't have time for this!" she also elected to yell across the counter over a few regusters to demand that that next employee not ring me up. The two conversed back and forth joking for a while untill I arrived at the reguster to make my purchase for the second time. This woman came over towards the counter where I was standing to exchange more words with me. She offered that " I'm still going to be here" I told her I'm not concerned with you having a job. I'm more concerned with how your treating the customers. I told her I come in this store quite often. She then stated the following; " I have never seen you before. I replied "that's because your new here and I'm I'm an old customer". I vacated the store in an effort to finally cut her off from the words she insisted on spueing at me. When I turned back around to enter the store for reasons I needed to know her name for this review. I was provided with the name (Kim) by the other person working the reguster. I directly ask her "what is your last name," she simply smerked, smiled and ask me if I wanted her to call the police. I told her go ahead and I called her stupid among other thing and departed the store. Unfortunately this sight is not allowing my to add an image showing proof of purchase in which I have in my hand.

You See I Posted A Message back on June 26th of this Year on Facebook, but obviously Y'all don't care! You see Not Only did You LIE to Your Customer that it was being fixed, YOU Might as well say You Don't Need or Respect your Customers and No way do you respect your Employees! They were Miserable and Voicing it! If I were them I would have Walked out and Went straight to OSHA's Website and filed a Complaint... Better Yet I would have Contacted an attorney! Especially being I just read this on OSHA website... The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration doesn't require employers to maintain specific temperatures in the workplace. The agency recognizes that a 75-degree Fahrenheit office might be comfortable for one employee, but intolerable for another. To protect employees from having to work in uncomfortable temperatures, OSHA recommends that employers keep the thermostat between 68 and 78 degrees. OSHA regulations do kick in, however, when temperatures are so severe that they could lead to heat stress, hypothermia or other dangerous conditions. People who take medication are at greater risk for temperature-related health problems. SHAME ON YOU DOLLAR TREE! YOU WON'T Get ANY more of my $$ Until the Conditions for your EMPLOYEE'S and CUSTOMER'S Reflect YOU GIVE A DARN and FIX The issues at the store! Do you even Realize that with the HEAT here in FL. Especially being the HEATWAVE we are in, MANY Products that are in You Store should be kept on shelves within certain temps. So Not only is it Bad for Chocolate or items that melt, It is Also Not good for Most OTC medications, Cleaners, Toiletries and such can Actually make them DANGEROUS! I was in the store today, it was MISERABLE! Not only did it make it uncomfortable, I literally got sick to my stomach and felt like I couldn't catch my breath! Most of what I was going to get was either MELTED, SQUSHY, or the bottle was expanding from heat! If I was forced to work in those conditions I would file a Lawsuit for sure! But Hey YOU will have another Sarcastic Manager or rep to contact me and tell me THEY are on it! Don't be surprised when You get Summoned!

This letter is about the experience I encountered at your store located at 2840 Chapel Hill Road Douglasville, GA. ******* on September 29,2017 at 5:55pm. As I often do, I would stop at the Dollar Tree store that is in my community to pick up items however on September 29,2017 it was a celebration that I wanted to be a part of and I made a conscience effort to stop at the Dollar Tree store to pick up 25 balloons. To no avail, could I ever imagine the havoc I would have encountered on September 29,2017. Once I walked in the store I was shocked to see a very long line of customers with only one cashier present with 18 customers in line. I was customer 19 in line until someone behind me joined in. I waited in line until I decided to go see if I could locate someone in the store to assist the cashier that was currently assisting the 20 people that were currently in line. I proceeded to knock on the store mangers door due to the line moving very slowly. As I knocked on the door I heard a loud obnoxious female voice screaming at me on the other side of the door to stop knocking on the door. I stop knocking and explain to the young lady through the closed door that the line was very long and the young lady (cashier) on the register needed help assisting the customers. She opened the door and said to me stop knocking on the door because she was busy and closed the door in my face. I was very humiliated and in disbelief. I know Dollar Tree does not permit this type of behavior from your employees nor this type of chaos confusion in your stores. As I was walking away the employee came out the office to open another register. I proceeded to get back in line to make my purchase for the balloons for my celebration that I was attending. Since the young lady came out of the office and decided to opened up another line, I shift over in that line because I was pressed for time and it was shorter.
As I get closer to be waited on after standing in the line for over 15 minutes, the cashier proceeds to LOOK OVER ME and started assisting the person behind me. I questioned the cashier on why was she assisting someone behind me instead of me since I was the next person in line to be waited on standing directly in FRONT of her. She verbally stated to me that she was not waiting on me and she did not have to. At this moment, I asked her for her name; she didnt respond to my question so I noticed her name tag that read Manager Cassandra. I expressed my displeasure to another customer in line and the Manager-Cassandra of the store denied my service to make my purchase for the balloons. When I spoke and stated how I felt about her behavior she walked away and came back with the phone calling 911 for the police to come to the store due to me asking her over and over to place my order for the balloons. I have never in the years of being a consumer have been treated rudely and to escalate her calling the police. I spoke to the police and in ending I never got a chance to purchase the balloons.
I am a regular customer, Ive spent hundreds of dollars at this location and I have never had any problems in the past. I am positive this is NOT the way you train your employees to service YOUR customers. Cassandra is oblivious to the way she treats your customers. That should not be acceptable and she should be accountable for her actions. I would like someone to follow up with me about this situation. I have lived in Douglasville for over 20 years and I can honestly say I have never encountered this type of behavior from anyone that work in the neighborhood stores. I am also concerned with the lack of understanding I received from the staff member who manages your store. I don't know if she merely misunderstood my request, but she refused to let me make my purchase and resulted in calling the police. Its clear to me that she needs more training on how to interact with the customers that come into the store. Cassandra displayed unprofessionalism and I am sure Dollar Tree have extensive training for their employees to serve their customers.
For $1 and under, you can't go wrong!
