Approaching the checkout lane, the two ladies working, Sherrie (manager) and an associate walk AWAY from me... Sherrie, to the back/break room, associate turning her back away from me, removes her mask, wipes her face and nose with her ungloved hand, replaces them, then looks at me and says, "I am sorry. I couldn't help it. I was drenched. " I said," Yeah, and I appreciate you wiping your spit, snot, sweat and everything else all over my 'stuff' and not using any hand sanitizer. I will make sure I wipe everything down when I get home!"

This store is a "training store"... what a joke. The staff acts so complacent. I guess this store 'trains' you as to how 'not' to 'act'!
If you use EBT, you are treated differently. I spend a lot of money at Dollar General. Be it EBT or $$... I get very upset when you tell the cashier that it is EBT and it takes three different "trys" because they have to reset the register three different times. After, a while. You kinda think it's NOT a coincidence!

Went to the Milford NY store and used THEIR App to scan THEIR products and they refused to give me the prices they rang up. Ex. Bug spray 1.01 and it rang up 1.63. Ridiculous and the guy with long hair (so called manager) has NO place in retail. Do yourselves a favor and fire him.
I had an excellent experience at the Parkman road location in Warren Ohio! I was having a horrible day, was grumpy and just looking to get in and out... I was unable to find what I was looking for when manager Kristen came to my rescue and helped me find several items... she was friendly and speedy with her approach... then I got in the check out line with about 4 customers ahead of me when I was greeted by cashier Terri who quickly jumped
On to help get the line down... she was friendly with a smiling and happy face... she was quick and accurate with my checkout process and even placed my food items separate from my drier sheets! I definitely walked out much happier than I walked in!

I go there often. There's a decent selection of holiday decorations. Good snacks that are cheap. They usually have all the paper products we need as well.
Terrible service lady is very rude and accused me of stealing when I had my pockets out. The next time I went there the same lady was in the front parking lot in her car SMOKING! While yelling at me to get out of her parking lot and sat there on her phone for like 10 minutes before getting out and going inside to the cash register. All in all this is a terrible store I could go on about more bad things but I don't feel like typing out a 10 page essay.

I will never set foot in a Dollar General ever again. My reason is because your company has decided to remove "My Pillow" products. The CEO from "My Pillow", speaks his mind which is allowed under the First Amendment of the Constitution. Is the Dollar General CEO is worried that someone on the left may make trouble for him? Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion which we still that right for now. Word is getting around concerning businesses that are removing "My Pillow" products from their store and boycotts will begin.
I shop in a location near Akron, Ny but not the Akron store. I drive to the next town over. The store is clean and organized but the customer service of a couple of the employees is HORRIBLE. There are a few that are very friendly. Without customer service, the store is dead in the water. I will travel even further out if no improvement.
I was looking at clothing and all I could here was 2 managers yelling and arguing in the office. When I got done getting the stuff I needed, I went to the cashier. There were 2 employees behind the register. They were so in to talking about drama that they barely said 2 words to me. My daughter was rung up next and she was rude to my daughter as well.

I visited Dollar General on Arch Street and pike. I noticed the signed stated mask required was removed from the door. I also witnessed for the third time a employee not wearing a mask. It is very upsetting and disturbing that people take other people safety for granted. No one wants COVID-19. It's very disgusting! I want be shopping there again and I will make sure to tell my family and friends to avid this store. It may save there lives!?
The Princeton, Illinois store is a great store. The employees are very helpful and friendly! You are so lucky to have them working for you. I frequent the store and have always been satisfied. I know 2 of the girls Peggy and Andrea by name because they always seem to be working when i'm there. All the other girls are great also. They represent Dollar General so well that I hope you appreciate them and reward them for their fantastic service. Whenever I go in to the store everyone always is doing their job and I constantly hear other customers praising them for their extraordinary service that not all stores have.

Went to one of the local dollar general stores, and didn't see what i was looking for. Before i left a lady named Makayla recognized me, asked about what i was looking for, and retrieved some product from the stockroom for me. She did all of this with a smile. Dollar general store #******* in hammond, la. Should know that Makayla is an exceptional employee who works everyday to make sure that her customers are taken care of. The store is neat clean and organized. I CAN shop ANYWHERE i choose, but im ok going to my local dollar general. I hope someone important in the organization reads this
I used you brand of tampon on a regular basis but I did but a box of them and used one of them and apparently there was 2 tampons in it and I didn't know... It caused a bit of discomfort and when I went to take it out there were 2 tampons in their... That is unacceptable and could have caused issues
This Dollar General store has improved 100 percent since Mr. Kendrick(might be wrong spelling) has been involved with the store. The store is clean, I can always find what I need(and more). I am amazed by how even the staff has become nicer & more helpful. Before Mr. Kendrick, some of the staff even acted like you were bothering them for coming into the store! In Sussex county I have been to 4 dollar generals. Each time people in there in vicinity of cash registers were customers talking to cashier's masks all the way down. Nothing said to them.So be sure to go there if you want virus we are supposed look out for workers but they don't care about customers.
I've never, EVER had a good experience with this app. Every time I try to use digital coupons at checkout, it says I have no digital coupons even though I check them off and then review it prior to leaving my home to go to the DG store. And, according to most of the comments I've read, very few customers, if any at all, have had a good experience with digital coupons or the app itself. DG needs to scrap this useless app and start from scratch! How many more complaints do they need?! DUH.
