I am thoroughly disgusted with Sennheiser for using this CLUELESS platform.

So far I have been charged TWICE for a product that I haven't received at all. I have cancelled it in writing and via the required phone call. Now I'm working with PayPal to help with this.

The Worst Company On The Planet --- bar none.

Placed an order for the new Sony Xperia 1 iii on release day (19th August). Still have not had the phone delivered almost a week later and when contact customer support they just say someone will email you with an update which they never do. Unacceptable especially when the order value is over £1k

An appalling service
April 15, 2020

Very inefficient and ineffective system. Previously I was unable to pay using my debit card despite all other traders accepting details with NO problem - for example finally ESRI's office staff charged my debit card. I am disappointed that Lenove etc use them.

Digital river is a seller for third party software. I bought a mp3 player from wmatools.com because it played older mp3's. I never received the software key to unlock the program out of trial mode. Digital River/RegNow/MyCommerce and Wmatools.com have refused to answer any emails so they have essentially stolen 28+dollars from me.
Do not use this company. They are thieves.

Very bad company. I did not even knew that they charged me (they renew the charge every year) for three years for 106.00 for something that I never buy (a software). Not honest guys, so BE AWARE of THEM. Read the feedback FIRST.

Bad company

I ordered 2 phones from this company. One arrived but not the 2nd phone. After a multitude of emails and phone calls for delivery of the missing phone or a refund all I get are apologies and excuses but no phone or refund. Disgusting company avoid at all costs

I purchased McAfee Total Protection virus software from this company that scams you into thinking you are buying from McAfee as their logo shows up when you buy. I spent 2 hours downloading and it uninstalled my old protection but did not install the new version. I spent 8 hours so far on the phone with McAfee who said there server does not work with theirs so they attempted for days with no luck. Then I had to repurchase directly from McAfee who told me they would process refund but I was double billed. I would NEVER buy anything from this company again.

Be wary of using Digital River. I signed up to buy Trend security software only to find Trend uses Digital River as its dodgy agent to bill me without any reference to Trend. You cannot contact Digital River directly, only via its website which looks like a Russian scam. Digital River failed to respond to eight requests to explain the nature of the invoice on my credit card, by which time, I had cancelled my credit card in the expectation that Digital River was a scam and would be billing me regularly.

Briefly; I received an email from Kaspersky on 06/08/2018 saying my anti-virus license had expired. I immediately renewed my license using Paypal, only to discover that I had, in fact, renewed my license some two or three weeks ago and had simply forgotten. I emailed Kaspersky, explained the situation and requested a refund. Within 24 hrs I had received the confirmation from Kaspersky that a refund had been issued by DigitalRiver and I also received an email from DigitalRiver themselves confirming that the refund had been paid back into my PayPal account.
Outstanding customer service from two large organizations!

I paid for the program smartpcfixer 5.2 to specifically fix an error, Ox*******. Immediately after downloading and installing the program my computer stopped working. It could not access any program, and even had trouble shutting down. When I tried to reboot, it said there was an error and could not boot. Do not trust this company!

I was offered a subscription of some AVAST software through Digital River Ireland. I did not accept the subscription but I received an email that I was charged $49.99 for the subscription and was charged to my Paypal account. I never gave Avast or Digital River my Paypal account number. The only way they could get it is by fishing.
Anyway I immediately requested a refund and in a few days they refunded the unethical charges. Was that AVAST or was it Digital River, or both.

How can this company be reported to the Better Business Bureau? And if they have been, why are they still in business? Order "IMtoo Video Converter" last year and NEVER got a response to any of my emails for their faulty and crappy product.

I received an email from Pay Pal this morning saying that I had authorised a payment to DigitalRiver for £59.99. I contacted Pay Pal immediately saying I hadn't authorised this payment but they have responded (in less than 6 hours) to say they have investigated my complaint and the payment to DigitalRiver was authorised. Now I'm out of pocket and what am I going to get for this money, not a lot I suspect!

Just be careful. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR AUTO RENEWAL.
This company is not contactable and have built-in loops in their systems to stop you cancelling. BEWARE.
I am going to start a campaign to publicise this appalling treatment of customers.

Somehow they managed to add subscriptions using PayPal Express and PayPal Credit. What started as a yearly fee of 29.99, in Dec 2015 to be renewed at 69.99, has run me just shy of $600.00.

Digital River have succeeded only if your measure is providing unequivocally the worst service you will ever encounter.

You can expect the following:

Long delays +- 6 days to answer emailed questions.

No accountability or mechanism for upgrading disputes or complaints (I was told that decisions were reviewed by, I quote "the relevant department". When further queried for the name of this department I was told "it is a higher power" with whom there is no way for me to contact or other wise engage with.

Some of your emails will be ignored outright and remain unanswered.

Other emails will be answered with a topic that bears not the slightest relation to your topic / question.

Repeated emails and those marked urgent may or may not be answered.

No single email request was answered within a 72 hour period (bear this in mind if you have an urgent request).

No person you speak to on the phone will have any ability to give you meaningful or accurate information.

Information provided via a real person over telephone is likely to completely contradict information provided in emails.

I would suggest avoid at all costs.
