Last week I ordered 2 pairs of earbuds. They were only 3$ a piece so I didnt expect much from it. Normaly the shipping takes a long time with cheaper products (aliexpress etc) but here I got it in only 6 days! I was so shocked how great the product was and how fast the shipping was. ObsceneI bought some hearing aids for 32.69. One did not work and the other did not work very well. They said to get a refund I needed to send evidence of problem and to ship the hearing aids back to seller in China using a tracking number. The seller would reimburse the return shipping fees. I checked the fees for return shipping and they amounted to 61.50. I contacted DHGate and after much conversation about how obscene it was to incur such costs with just a promise of reimbursement, however they said they would get me the reimbursement. I asked them to contact the actual vendor and see if another arrangement could be arrived at. In a later e-mail to DHGate I asked to receive a prepaid shipping label. I had no response from them. In the end I decided not to risk any more money with an organization that operates in such a manner.

As a first time buyer, I was well aware that DHgate is a company that sells "copies" of products. So they will take a certain model and sell their version through different sellers. I was looking for a formal dress, I saw the dress advertised with the original designers name on the description, thought hey if they are including the designer name, it should be legit. I fell in love with it. Ordered it. The seller, newdeve, did try to communicate with me from the get-go regarding the measurements and shipping. However, when I received the dress, I was very disappointed. The dress looks nothing like the dress that I ordered not even similar to. The color, design the materials and style were all wrong! To top it off, the dress was damaged. I contacted the seller immediately about my concerns. The "clerk" responded and apologized for my dissatisfaction. She told me that the tailor who had made my dress was fired due to my complaint. Over a series of days we went back and forth regarding getting a refund. I was offered a laughable low amount which I refused Then the clerk said that her boss offered to make a new dress for me. They would hire the best tailor, buy new materials and pay for the shipping. After my experience with the first dress, I didn't want the same outcome. You would think it would have just been easier to issue a refund... nope! Once I refused that offer, the clerk started getting a little personal, expressing her fear for her boss. She said that her boss would "punish" her and not pay her wages if a refund would be issued. Then mentioned that she would not be able to pay for her child's education, she said "education is a very important part of human rights, right?"... umm, yes but WHAT?! The clerk seemed desperate for me to agree to a low refund, did give me another amount, even offering to include $10 out of her own pocket. Asked me to not write a negative review because she would be in more trouble. Whether this was legit or not I don't know. But if it is, what kind of companies are we supporting? Long story short, no refund yet. As a bonus, now I feel guilty for ruining a few peoples lives for not being satisfied with the dress! Is that legal to do? Horrible experience. I honestly do hope the clerk is OK and not being punished! NEVER AGAIN!

I fell in love with a evening dress I found on DHgate and was going to use it for my wedding dress because it was everything I've always wanted. When I received the gown, it was a poor imitation of the photo online. It wasn't the same color- the photo showed a vibrant emerald green. I received a deep muted sewage green. The detail work on the dress was cheap. The whole dress looked cheap. There was no way that I was going to wear it. I contacted the seller and tried to return it, but they keep asking me to take more pictures, and provide more information and it was a complete runaround and waste of time. When I told them that I would not take a picture of me in it because the zipper was difficult to zip up and I did not want to try to force myself into it again- they asked that I send them a picture of the zipper so that they can provide me with instructions on how to work it. INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOW TO WORK A ZIPPER?!?!?! I was done. A month later I tried to return it via the DHgate site. The 'Browse" button to upload photos did not work, and I could not continue without images uploaded. Complete scam. I'm never shopping with them again, and I've learned my lesson. I am never shopping with any China site. Such a bitter disappointment.

A seller sold us 50 pieces of fake fitbit flex ($1000+ USD), we found out and we returned them immediately. Dhgate told us that full refund will be issued once the products are delivered to the seller. After the products arrived, we NEVER heard anything from the seller again. We contacted dhgate and they said that the seller has no fund in their account to refund us! And they told us to wait patiently. Guess what? We have been waiting for a year something now and there is nothing from Dhgate. Every time we contact Dhgate they tell us to wait and they refused to take any actions to go after the seller, nor do they take any responsibility for this atrocious scam. Last time I checked, DHgate claims 100% buyer protection. See the photo attached for your information, we will do everything in our power to alert people to stay away from dhgate in social media.

I waited from April 18,2017 until June 2,2017 for two LG HBS 900 head sets. They obviously were actually shipped on a slow boat from China. When I receive them I immediately charged them per the instructions. The first set seemed to work until I tried making a call. The person on the other end could not hear me. I made sure I had them positioned correctly and everything was set up correctly. Then I tried the second set. They would work somewhat but then randomly mute me so I could not hear a caller. I contacted DHgate and tried to go through the return process but it became obvious that they are a scam. The website I was supposed to use did not work. Then I was contacted saying that since they had not heard anything from me the money had been released to the seller. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE THEIVES!

I started to buy from DHgate since 2013, my first item was a Lenovo A820 mobile phone (With different log-on credentials).
