I ordered a beautiful dress for my daughters pageant and it exceeded my expectations. Not only was the staff wonderful messaging me to thank me for my order and to double check everything I ordered, the dress was made beautifully. They also asked me when I needed the dress by and I received it sooner than they even told me. I will definitely be ordering again.

My experience has been terrible with Dhgate. I know I shouldn't be judging according to how ice been treated by seller. But as DHgate promises security with money, they should also live upto it. I've been in a dispute for a refund for an entire month. I've sent several messaged to DHGate customer service for updates but it's come to the point that I get no reply but just promising dates that they'll come to a decision, but even then they don't conclude. All I'm given is extending dates. This is one website I'll never turn back to as my experience has been terrible with DHgate and the seller. It's defo not a trustworthy website to out your money into.

I have enjoyed most products that I have bought through DHgate, however I am quite upset with some of the companies that sell the products. Example I purchased an item in March, it was defective, returned it, received a replacement in June, still haven't received the shipping costs. Another problem I have, which is no fault of DHgate is the extremely long shipping times.

Your customer service reps need to know how to handle calls, have access to all information and should be able to make decisions if the supervisor is not available.
It is deceptive and not good business practice to continue to repeat scripts and not follow up.

Absolutely dreadful

Absolutely dreadful. DHGate do not supply any goods, they are just a vendor for a large number of unverified traders who will often send you fake items of extremely poor quality, made so badly they can't even be used regardless of them being counterfeit. You may also not even receive anything at all, or if it does turn up it will be incorrect size/colour, different design, etc.
If you ordered duck then they will give you chicken on the basis that they are both a kind of bird... with me! O_O

Customer Service do not serve any function other than to send out-of-the-box replies to any enquiries... you are on your own, ok!
Nevermind about the Escrow customer satisfaction guarantee. They will release funds to the so-called 'merchant' anyway and then you can then whistle dixie if you think you have any form of recourse.
Basically they wash their hands of any/all problems and just tell you to sort it out with the seller yourself... for this reason alone do yourself a favour and just AVOID this company like the plague.
At some point you WILL lose money, maybe not on your first order, maybe not your second... but at some point you will regret your decision to buy goods from this platform, every order you place is a essentially gamble on it being:
I) FAKE
Ii) INCORRECT SIZE/COLOUR/OTHER
Iii) DOESN'T ARRIVE
Iv) OK

The phrase 'You pays your money and you takes your chances' has never been more apt than for buying via DHGate...

Sorry to say but the experience was horrible. Order Number: *******456, seller: yanagroup. Ordered a painting that supposed to be 100% hand made oil on canvas, but received prints on A4 paper format. Wrong material and size, in other words a complete fraud.
Initiated a return through dhgate as per the return policy, and the next day I received threatening message on my cell phone from the seller saying:
"Hi Marina, when we receive order of oil painting back, we will take photo of that and apply for DHgate that you have opened and break product, we even never going to receive them for so many orders because we gave u false address of return (address not available). You will also loos money of ship to China (even though we may never touch it)." I also received a message via dhgate online portal from the seller with the similar content.
This is unacceptable and very upsetting. I called my bank and filed the incident.
I hope that the wrongdoing by the seller will be stopped and customers would not suffer from such unfair practices and fraud.
