I received my glasses, but they were made wrong. When I contacted them, I was told that lenses are non-refundable. My argument was this shouldn't apply when they make an error. I pursued it for a few months and as it stands now I have only the frames and I am out the full price. Better Business Bureau was no help. All they have to do is put the same prescription in every pair of glasses and keep making money. Don't waste your money. You may get what you ordered, but you also may not.

I've been searching for eyeglasses NOT made in China, a real challenge. After finding a Dolce and Gabbana style I liked, I started searching for suppliers. Most authorized retailers are selling just the frames for $280. Designer Optics has the same frames for $122. Seriously? So off to BBB I go to research them and the number of complaints are astronomical. And many complaints about fakes being sold as authentic. Of course they deny this, but one only has to read a handful of their responses to know that they are probably in China as their grammer is horrible. Another clue they are in China is the number of complaints from customers who didn't receive their "in stock" items for months. Designer Optics claims that it's because of Covid-19 but go back far enough to before Covid-19 and there are plenty of delayed delivery complaints. But they have an excuse, in terrible English, for everything. This company is clearly selling knock off frames from China. People want a deal but be smart, pay the extra money for your designer frames. Or China doesn't bother you, buy Warby Parker. At least they are quality frames and they stand behind their products and they're cheap.

I ordered Dolce & Gabbana frames before reading the reviews. I was nervous and angry at myself for not researching more, but I had already entered my prescription and paid so there was really no going back. I also paid extra for one day shipping. It was money well spent. I got the frames--they are gorgeous and perfect! I was worried they would mess up my prescription but it's correct! Your mileage may vary, but I had a great experience w/ this company. I also received two email updates that my order was being worked on--the final one included a UPS tracking number so I knew exactly when they would arrive. It's really interesting how all over the board the reviews are. I had good luck... maybe you will, too!

They will charge your credit card and will never deliver anything to you. I bought sunglasses on July 18,2020. It is now Aug 3rd, 2020. I have not received anything yet. When I check status on their website, it shows that my order is still in process. They already charged my for the product. I am afraid that this company sells products they don't have in stock.

Terrible customer service, two weeks after ordering my item I've not received as much as a notification that my glasses are being made in the lab. Funny thing is I ordered some prescription sunglasses from a competitor that manufactures everything in China and they got my glasses to me faster.
The fact of the matter is that this is a terribly run company, I've requested a refund several times to no avail. I was promised my glasses by July 31st which is... tomorrow, which I don't see being plausible considering I haven't received a shipping notice.
Don't shop here. Go to Zenni or go anywhere else.

On June 17 I bought 2 pairs of sunglasses, before making the purchase I contacted the customer service to ask how long it would take to arrive in Montréal, they explained to me that if it passed 14 $US it would take between 2 to 3 days, knowing this I proceeded to make the purchase, on the 26th I contacted the customer service to cancel the purchase since it had been longer than the expected time. They replied that I could not cancel the purchase until I received the order, I try to cancel the order 3 times. Yesterday (July 8) I received an email saying that my order had been completed, which is completely false, this company steals the money

I ordered my Prada polarized prescription sunglasses during quarantine. I unknowingly made a mistake on the website order. I did enclose my eye prescription w order. I received my glasses with the incorrect prescription but they corrected it without charge. I had to wait a few extra weeks but it was totally worth it. I saved $300 ordering through designer optics. Will definitely order from them again. The emails & CSR via phone was extremely professional and she corrected it immediately. No extra charge. I highly recommend.

Customer support is auto reply, not conversation by actual person. Ive been waiting for my order for over month now. And they keep telling me my order is back-ordered and keep extending shipping date. They said they back-ordered till June 21st and extended to July 2nd and now they extended to July 11. I feel like this is some kind of scam and they will keep extend shipping date. Not even worth to give them 1 star. It's 0 star.

I just purchased 3 pairs of eyeglasses (2 versace and 1 Michael kors) on monday and they got here today. Only took 3 days. I was pretty scared reading all of these reviews about them never coming, but my glasses came within 3 days. All 3 that I purchased were "in Stock" not sure if that playsd a factor and I also didn't get a prescription.

Ordered on 5/21 a pair that said they would ship in 2-3 days. Week goes by and no shipping confirmation or any emails.
I email them and they say the style I bought was out and ask me to pick another style.
I chose another style that said on site would ship in 3-4 days. They confirmed they would send them on 6/2.
It's now 6/27 and I have yet to receive anything.

I made a purchase during the height of the Covid 19 pandemic. I was unhappy with the purchase, they just didn't look good on me, so I asked to make an exchange. Time had passed since the 14 day return term but I thought that since we are in unprecedented times and the state is on lock down, that the exchange period would be adjusted like all other retailers to give customers time to handle business outside of the home. Designeroptics did not allow the exchange. I will never do business with this company again and I would suggest that others don't as well.

Answer: Not easy at all! You can send an email, which will likely take at least a week for them to respond, or you can call. I have called and emailed several times. There are only 2 customer service people (I asked when I called) so you sit on hold for upwards of an hour. It is horrible. Then when you do finally get a person on the line, or an email response it is just, "Your glasses are almost ready. They should be shipped out soon." When you press for more detailed information they put you on hold and then come back and say that the lab is currently working on them. If you email for more information then you email is likely never returned.
