I've been searching for eyeglasses NOT made in China, a real challenge. After finding a Dolce and Gabbana style I liked, I started searching for suppliers. Most authorized retailers are selling just the frames for $280. Designer Optics has the same frames for $122. Seriously? So off to BBB I go to research them and the number of complaints are astronomical. And many complaints about fakes being sold as authentic. Of course they deny this, but one only has to read a handful of their responses to know that they are probably in China as their grammer is horrible. Another clue they are in China is the number of complaints from customers who didn't receive their "in stock" items for months. Designer Optics claims that it's because of Covid-19 but go back far enough to before Covid-19 and there are plenty of delayed delivery complaints. But they have an excuse, in terrible English, for everything. This company is clearly selling knock off frames from China. People want a deal but be smart, pay the extra money for your designer frames. Or China doesn't bother you, buy Warby Parker. At least they are quality frames and they stand behind their products and they're cheap.

I ordered a personalized Christmas ornament to honor my husband of 30 years who passed away this year. The choices available were wonderful, the prices reasonable and the work they did was amazing. I wish I could give this business a higher rating, because the staff who works there are very nice. However, they have much to learn about customer service. My saga began when I walked in to find out about a chemical peel. I was upsold, against my better judgement, on a package of Urbium laser treatments, 3 for $750.00. I was nervous about getting this done because I had seen photos of patients and it's pretty intense. But I was excited at the prospect of having a more youthful complexion after the treatments. I had the first treatment done, and the only thing that happened to my skin was a severe acne breakout on one side of my face that has still left discoloration 7 months later. I was told that for the first treatment Dr. Figueroa would not do an extreme lasering until he could see how my skin reacted, and each successive treatment would get stronger. I scheduled my second treatment for 3 weeks later. A few days before my appointment, I received a phone call from their office telling me that the Urbium laser machine had broken and they would call me to reschedule once it was fixed. Fast forward over 2 months later, I still had not heard from them to reschedule. I called to inquire if the machine had been fixed yet and they said "no, and we don't know when it will be fixed, either". I told them how unprofessional I thought it was that nobody had the decency to call me, and I demanded a credit for the remaining $500.00 on my American Express card. Unbelievably, the girl had the nerve to tell me they couldn't refund my credit card, and that I would have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for their accounting department to mail me a check! I told her to have accounting call me as this was ridiculous, and I immediately called Amex and lodged a complaint. Of course, Amex couldn't have been nicer, and instantly suspended the interest on the unpaid balance until they could resolve it. It got resolved but still took weeks for Golden Apple to respond to American Express' request for resolution. In my estimation, this makes them either incredibly stupid or crooks, take your pick. I will never return to this place again. Too bad for them, because after my first laser treatment I had spent significantly more money on other services with them and would have continued to do so. Now I will find a more ethical skin care business to give my money to.

OGM, the staff at the Peoria AZ office are the worst people I've ever encountered! My husband has been on liquid oxygen for 20 years, with Lincare for 5. The Lincare driver told him 2 weeks ago that in a few weeks, Lincare would stop providing his liquid oxygen because Medicare has made it financially impractical for them to continue delivering it. They would provide a concentrator, which my husband cannot tolerate. Two weeks later of being on pins and needles searching for a new provider, Brandy in the office still cannot tell us when they will be discontinuing the liquid. From drivers acting like doctors giving my husband bad medical equipment information to the office staff not giving a crap about their customers, this company gets a big fat F. Honestly, in spite of the major inconvenience, I'll be glad when my husband finds a new provider. If there was a negative star rating, they'd get it from me.

Tip for consumers:
Here is an update to my review of Lincare. After many days of frantically trying to secure liquid oxygen from another provider, and signing on with Apria Healthcare, a class act BTW, the regional manager from Lincare called. She informs my husband that Lincare never had any intention of canceling delivery of his liquid oxygen, and she had no idea where the local office manager came up with that information. Of course, she was all "What can we do to get you back as a customer"? NOTHING! Done
