I was once a regular and satisfied customer of CysterWigs.com, aka, HairKittyKitty.com for about 5 years--that is, until November, 2023. It was during the site's "Black Friday Sale," when I purchased several wigs, and was shipped the wrong wig instead of one I originally ordered. I immediately contacted CW/HKK via their customer service email and phone number to try to get the problem resolved, but their "Customer Service" is non-existent. The business, if it even deserves to be considered a "business," apparently has no working telephone number and is poorly-managed, at best. After a frustrated month of NOT being able to get ANY assistance from CW/HKK, I filed a formal complaint with both the Attorney General of Georgia's Consumer Protection Division and the BBB of Northern Georgia. Unfortunately, for the Attorney General of Georgia's CPD, my complaint did not meet their criteria for further investigation into CW/HKK's business practices. As for the BBB, since CW/HKK is not accredited with their organization, the most they could do for me was to send a letter directly to their business address and inform them of my issue. Naturally--since "the lights are on, but nobody's home" in regards to how CW/HKK manages their business--they did not bother to respond to either the BBB, or me! I then contacted my credit card company, and they refunded the cost of the wig that I did not actually receive. I thought I could finally put all of this to rest, but... WAIT! THERE'S MORE! In May, 2024, out-of-the blue I receive an email from none other than CysterWigs/Hair Kitty Kitty that they were finally going to ship the correct wig to me--after the nearly-six months of unnecessary hell that they put me through. Really? No.Thank.You. Besides, I had technically already received the money back for this purchase via my credit card. Once I did receive this unexpected package, I immediately REFUSED it and had it sent back to CysterWigs/Hair Kitty Kitty. I'm done!
I visited this site on referral of Kim at wigrevival.com. My first purchase was Sept. 28 from HairKittyKitty. The color was darker than the pics and the cap came to a point at the crown and stood up, so it had to be returned. I might have exchanged it but there were no colors available that I could wear. I paid an extra $4 for my own UPS return service because they don't take PayPal for return shipping and I don't use my cards online. My return was delivered Oct. 6th and it's now Oct. 18th and they still haven't acknowledged receipt or communicated with me. I called customer service at 10:30am today (Weds) and got a recording stating their hours, which indicate they should be open and taking calls. The UPS photo of the delivery looks more like a residence than a business so I'm really worried about my refund. I need a wig for job interviews because I'm unemployed and can't afford to lose the money. I wish I'd read the reviews first.

If you're reading this, you're probably in the same position I found myself in recently. I reached a point in my hair loss where I felt the need to research hair alternatives. I didn't really know where to begin, so off I went to the World Wide Web. I came across Cyster Wigs in my search and from what I watched of Heather Hershey, I knew that I appreciated what Cyster Wigs and HairKittyKitty were doing. A friend of mine has quite an impressive wig collection and she let me try some of hers; to get a feel of what I liked and needed. At least I had that much personal experience before I bought my own. I ordered my very first wig and instantly fell in love with it. I knew after a full day of wearing it, even into the late evening, that this CysterWigs Limited Collection wig was for me! I wasn't itching to rip it off on my head when I got home after a long day. When it was time to remove it for the evening I was actually sad to take it off. It truly was that comfortable. Also, I live in the Southern U.S. and let me tell you, it's humid as all get out and hot, even in the spring. I have had no problems wearing my CysterWigs L. C. wigs, even in this muggy weather. I have since ordered a couple more. Everyone needs a backup and a backup for their backup, right? The hair fibers are so soft and feel close to bio-hair. I couldn't stop running my fingers through them. The colors and styles available are amazing. I recently had a need to contact their customer care department. They were extremely swift in response time and by days end my issue was resolved. They have far exceeded my expectations in all areas and I have rarely had such an amazing customer service experience as I've had with Cyster Wigs. Wherever you may be in your personal hair loss journey, I can wholeheartedly recommend Cyster Wigs and HairKittyKitty.
I was shipped a supposedly "Grade A" clearance wig. They claim to "inspect them by hand". The wig was a frizzy mess and smelled terrible. I received an email telling me that, in fact, they do NOT take them out of the box for inspection. I then got a new email from a different person claiming the first person was incorrect. It's a mess and I doubt I'll receive any money back. Just wanted to protect anyone else from going through the same experience. There are plenty of other reputable wig companies to order from.
I have given this store well over $3000. 00 and they have treated me like poop.
When I asked to use my rewards points (I had a $20 coupon) for a $500 purchase that included a discount wig I got an email not from Heather but from her partner that I am sure was supposed to be intimidating but was instead flippant and rude.
Reward Points can not be used for 'discounted purchases' only for accessories.

Well welcome to the internet John. Go to any web store and put in a promo code and get a discount.
I can use my points and rewards at Voguewigs and other wig stores on any purchases without hassles. Only at Blysterwigs do I get pushback.
They keep changing their policy on exchanges. Originally you could exchange a wig for another wig without a restocking fee. Suddenly there is a new policy but who knew? I purchased a wig and did not like the color, I let them know I was returning it for another wig the same one but a different color. In the past I was able to do that without a restocking fee. I had to wait two monthes for my ‘refund'. I received a 'gift card' of $39 which is less than half of the purchase price of the wig (shipping is an outrageous $11.00 when most companies are free). When I complained I then got a PayPal 'refund' of $20.00. Now I am stuck with a $39 gift card which will not equal much when I have to pay $11 for shipping and cannot use with any discounts.
Her older videos had some good information on color but she does disparage other companies and that is bad karma.
Her new wigs are okay but way overpriced when you tally in the shipping and return policy.
I can get good information from Taz on Youtube and there are some other great wig companies out there that don't soak you and are honest.

I have purchased a total of 4 wigs from Cysterwigs and returned 2. The second wig I returned, Girl Mono was not a style I liked. I returned it and than received it back from the company; I contacted Enrique who is a customer service rep, he informed me that I had been emailed about the company's declination of my return. Cysterwig states I return the wig with a strong/worn human odor, altered, and deshelved. I never received an email from them and they have yet to show proof that they sent one. I never wore this curly beachy wig, I tried it on 3 times for approx 5 minutes each, and I used a head cover. I was respectful with their product and returned it within 30 days, tag attached, in the same condition I received it in. I am so upset and turned off that I am accused of wearing a wig I kept in the box until it was returned to them. The wig smells like the factory it was made in! The curls are loose, softly coiled and intact! I examined the part they accuse me of altering, and indeed the seam is showing, and I don't know how this happened. The part is a mono filament! Why would I need to alter it?! I used a store credit to purchase this wig. I originally requested another store credit and even purchased another wig from them, Winner by Raquel Welch, paid cash for it, while waiting to receive this store credit. Now I just would like my money back. I complained to BBB and Cysterwig accuses me further in their response, of wardrobe fraud, of using their product over the holidays and attempting to return it and that I held the product for a questionably long time. They have no integrity as far as I am concerned. Will NEVER purchase from them again.
I've never had a problem ordering from cysterwigs. Everything always comes correct and on time. I don't trust any other site to buy my wigs from after finding cyster wigs!
Amazing customer service, excellent return policy and service, competitive pricing and sales, daily connection with customer base. The owner runs this company from the heart and you can tell. Even her new "economy" fashion wigs are incredible quality. Plus she has an amazing selection of both synthetic and human hair wigs.

I have purchased wigs and toppers from all the companies out there online and I must say Cysterwigs is by far the best company to purchase from. The customer service is excellent. Through the other retailers I have in the past emailed, online chatted and made phone calls regarding questions either about their products or store policies in the past and have had to wait several weeks for a response. My first inquiry with Cysterwigs both in an email question and by phone - immediate! As a matter of fact I was shocked when my phone rang about 5 minutes after I left a message at their help desk from Stephanie. With the other companies I was lucky if I even got a call back. And the same timely response to one of my email questions. Stephanie was extremely helpful and so kind. She's the kind of gal you'd love to go have coffee with. My second purchase I choose the wrong color. Super fast easy return unlike other stores online where I've waited several weeks to a month to see a return on my account. Wish I could have given this company more than 5 stars!
