I ordered a wig on 3-22-19 Cost $70.81 (30% off sale at the time) Be aware, if you do not have a working printer you can not even get a refund because they require you fill out a form. I shipped the wig back the day after it was delivered. I waited patiently but still NO REFUND. Finally on 5-10-19 Almost 7 weeks later. I sent an email to *******@cysterwigs.com - They Do Not have a phone number to a real customer service dept - all you get is a recording. I got an email back that they had issued a refund for $52.03 and stated it would take several days. I copied my responce to their emal...
This is so bad - so wrong. You think it's OK that I still don't have a refund on an item purchased on March 22,2019 And then you have the nerve to steal $19.00 I need to know the date the refund was issued. It has been almost 7 weeks now. How many is several days? STOP sending me Emails. Your company can not issue a refund but you can send me an email every other day. I would have been a really good customer. Not that anyone will care... but I will never order from you guys again. Not after this experience.

Having lost my hair about 5 years ago due to chemo and knowing that, due to my diagnosis of Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer I would never be off of chemo, I knew that the only way to feel like myself again was to start wearing wigs.
I watched reviews on YouTube and watched reviews from Heather (owner of Cysterwigs), as well as many others, I began to love wigs. I bought wigs from Cysterwigs, as well as big wig sellers.
It became apparent that the wonderful sales, information for wig wearers and, above all, customer service made Cysterwigs stand out. For example, there have been a couple times where I have seen a wig while I was perusing the internet and wanted to order it. Unfortunately, no one sold the wig online. I contacted big online wig stores, but they all said there was nothing they could do. I contacted Cysterwigs and asked about special ordering the wig and heard from Heather. This was before Cysterwigs had their CCHD.
Heather was wonderful. She let me know that the wig I was interested in was only sold in brick and mortar stores, but she would try and get it for me. Heather was able to get me the wig I wanted... this happened two times!
From then on, I have strictly bought from Cysterwigs and have seen the growth of Heather's store. And even though her store grew so much that she needed to enlarge her customer service and hired more help, the warmth of the small online store remains.
Thank you Heather for all you and your staff do for your customers. I am always referring your site to others and will continue to do so.

If you're reading this, you're probably in the same position I found myself in recently. I reached a point in my hair loss where I felt the need to research hair alternatives. I didn't really know where to begin, so off I went to the World Wide Web. I came across Cyster Wigs in my search and from what I watched of Heather Hershey, I knew that I appreciated what Cyster Wigs and HairKittyKitty were doing. A friend of mine has quite an impressive wig collection and she let me try some of hers; to get a feel of what I liked and needed. At least I had that much personal experience before I bought my own. I ordered my very first wig and instantly fell in love with it. I knew after a full day of wearing it, even into the late evening, that this CysterWigs Limited Collection wig was for me! I wasn't itching to rip it off on my head when I got home after a long day. When it was time to remove it for the evening I was actually sad to take it off. It truly was that comfortable. Also, I live in the Southern U.S. and let me tell you, it's humid as all get out and hot, even in the spring. I have had no problems wearing my CysterWigs L. C. wigs, even in this muggy weather. I have since ordered a couple more. Everyone needs a backup and a backup for their backup, right? The hair fibers are so soft and feel close to bio-hair. I couldn't stop running my fingers through them. The colors and styles available are amazing. I recently had a need to contact their customer care department. They were extremely swift in response time and by days end my issue was resolved. They have far exceeded my expectations in all areas and I have rarely had such an amazing customer service experience as I've had with Cyster Wigs. Wherever you may be in your personal hair loss journey, I can wholeheartedly recommend Cyster Wigs and HairKittyKitty.
It was not the customer service. Really. Although, telling me that I could go elsewhere for a wig from now on.(absolutely no need to say that as I would never order from your place again). Certainly was not appreciated. I lost out on $56.00. And received nothing but, a dreadful excuse for the wig I ordered. I did take a deep breath and order from www.namebrandwigs.com. I received a fabulous Raquel Welch wig that actually looked like the picture! It was also 1/2 the price I paid with your company. I have been in business. I have been a cruise director with the biggest cruise lines in the business. So, I am VERY customer service oriented and do not expect to receive a poor imitation of what I paid for. I would NOT have paid $45.00 shipping to receive something quickly. Without expecting to get what was pictured and the quality that is in a Raquel Welch wig. This wig was obviously a "2nd"! The coloring was dreadful, the hair on the back of the crown was noticebly very thin! The style... hah! The style didn't even come close to the Crowd Pleaser. No, you didn't need to write me and say don't order from us again. Definitely not on my agenda. Buyers beware! You also promised to reimburse my $11.00 return shipping. Which you didn't do.
I greatly anticipated getting the Crowd Pleaser by Raquel Welch wig. I needed it for a big event and paid $45 extra to get it in time. When I received the wig. It no more looked like the Crowd Pleaser style than the "man in the moon". I was in tears! I took it right to the post office and had to pay another $11.00 to return it. So, I am out $56 and received nothing but a headache! They did return my money for the wig. However, they also sent a letter that I could go elsewhere for a wig! I was very nice and so, they cannot post that I was rude. I took a pic of myself in the wig and another of the actual wig. After showing the comparison to my friends. They ALL said it did not look a bit like the style I ordered! Cysterwigs said they would return my $11 return shipping, which the did not do. Save yourself some money and really check out the reviews of these companies. I did and still got taken!
Heather's videos explaining color and style are spot on. They steered me in the right direction and I've been satisfied with my purchases.

I have purchased a total of 4 wigs from Cysterwigs and returned 2. The second wig I returned, Girl Mono was not a style I liked. I returned it and than received it back from the company; I contacted Enrique who is a customer service rep, he informed me that I had been emailed about the company's declination of my return. Cysterwig states I return the wig with a strong/worn human odor, altered, and deshelved. I never received an email from them and they have yet to show proof that they sent one. I never wore this curly beachy wig, I tried it on 3 times for approx 5 minutes each, and I used a head cover. I was respectful with their product and returned it within 30 days, tag attached, in the same condition I received it in. I am so upset and turned off that I am accused of wearing a wig I kept in the box until it was returned to them. The wig smells like the factory it was made in! The curls are loose, softly coiled and intact! I examined the part they accuse me of altering, and indeed the seam is showing, and I don't know how this happened. The part is a mono filament! Why would I need to alter it?! I used a store credit to purchase this wig. I originally requested another store credit and even purchased another wig from them, Winner by Raquel Welch, paid cash for it, while waiting to receive this store credit. Now I just would like my money back. I complained to BBB and Cysterwig accuses me further in their response, of wardrobe fraud, of using their product over the holidays and attempting to return it and that I held the product for a questionably long time. They have no integrity as far as I am concerned. Will NEVER purchase from them again.
Estetica Becky looks much better in person than in the company or YouTube videos I glanced through. The unit has luxurious synthetic hair that is very soft to the touch and has open wefting in the back and a standardized cap construction. No lace front because it has just the right amount of bang, so you really don't need one. Estetica caps run pretty large on my petite-average sized head unfortunately. The adjustable straps in the back help to keep it in place but when I start to perspire a little, the cap stretches out. It happens in our heat with most wigs, not just Estetica. I have to use a bamboo wig cap underneath or a wig grip and a product I love called, It Stays. The color I ordered was TR613/27. A pretty light strawberry blonde with pale gold tips. It's the lightest color I own and the closest to my bio hair. My last Becky was an R20/RT8 rooted blonde and a lot more of a dark blonde with light auburn which looks very nice as well. This new Becky is a great lighter color for my Spring/Summer wardrobe. The only thing I would change to this classic curl wig would be to add just a tad more hair on top. The other Becky is definitely thicker on top. It's a little disappointing to see this one rather sparse. The hair is so light, I worry about seeing the wefting and the wefting lines underneath. I do have a cream color wig cap that I will probably wind up wearing with this wig but when it hits 100 degrees next month, all bets are off.
All in all, a great wig, awesome color and great price point. What can I say? A sweet deal too good to pass up.
I have given this store well over $3000. 00 and they have treated me like poop.
When I asked to use my rewards points (I had a $20 coupon) for a $500 purchase that included a discount wig I got an email not from Heather but from her partner that I am sure was supposed to be intimidating but was instead flippant and rude.
Reward Points can not be used for 'discounted purchases' only for accessories.
"If being able to use rewards along with discounted purchases is a requirement for you in a wig store, we haven't fit your bill in the past and likely won't in the future.

I can use my points and rewards at Voguewigs and other wig stores on any purchases without hassles. Only at Blysterwigs do I get pushback.
They keep changing their policy on exchanges. Originally you could exchange a wig for another wig without a restocking fee. Suddenly there is a new policy but who knew? I purchased a wig and did not like the color, I let them know I was returning it for another wig the same one but a different color. In the past I was able to do that without a restocking fee. I had to wait two monthes for my ‘refund'. I received a 'gift card' of $39 which is less than half of the purchase price of the wig (shipping is an outrageous $11.00 when most companies are free). When I complained I then got a PayPal 'refund' of $20.00. Now I am stuck with a $39 gift card which will not equal much when I have to pay $11 for shipping and cannot use with any discounts.
Her older videos had some good information on color but she does disparage other companies and that is bad karma.
Her new wigs are okay but way overpriced when you tally in the shipping and return policy.
I can get good information from Taz on Youtube and there are some other great wig companies out there that don't soak you and are honest.

I ordered this past autumn for the first time from Cysterwigs because the retailer (Namebrandwigs) i typically order from, did not have Aspen Estetica in stock. I wanted to give Cysterwigs a try. I thought the video reviews Heather does were amazing.
The Aspen was out of stock, but website gave the option to receive a text when back in stock, so I did so. A week later, I received a text and that evening I placed my order and then a week later was told the item was out of stock. When I emailed customer care, they were combative and stated that they infrormed me via email that it was backordered and that i didn't place my order right after the text. I was really shocked at the response. I assured them I hadn't gotten an email and checked my junk folder and expressed my disappointment. They told me the wig was back ordered and other retailers would be in same position. I told them I'd wait. In the meantime I placed order with my usual retailer namebrandwigs and it was backordered, but took a week to fill while cysterwigs took 2 additional weeks. Just so disappointing. I wear wigs for Alopecia Universlalis, not fashion. I need a retailer more sympathetic.
