I spent over $4500 on 2 PCs and after a year, an AIO cooler stopped working, causing the PC to power down constantly. Upon further research found the the cooler by specific brand had a 3 year warranty on it. I spent the extra money for an extended warranty and the response from support was, "computer's cyberpower warranty ran out at the end of a year" the solution was to purchase a new cooler elsewhere and install myself. The back and forth between support emails and myself was unnecessary and they weren't willing to compromise despite the amount spent on the systems. They act with no care in mind and customers are just numbers. Avoid them at all costs.

The Worst Customer Service You Will Ever Experience
September 30, 2023

I bought a Prebuilt PC for a little over $2,000. The GPU was completely dead on arrival. Their shipping page says it passed 2 "Quality Control" checks but somehow neither of those "checks" included turning the PC on and checking for any video output. Took almost 2 months after receiving the PC to finally get another GPU (I had to pay for return shipping + insurance on a DoA part). It took them almost a month from the date of receiving the dead GPU to ship out an actually functioning one.

Fast forward to today. The motherboard died just outside of warranty. I tested the PSU and GPU then contacted their tech support explaining the issue including that I already tested the PSU and GPU. They respond a week later saying "Recommend testing the PSU." That's it. That's their entire tech support response for a $2,000 purchase from an original message that already told them I tested the PSU and it was not a PSU issue.

It should be criminal to perform this bad of customer service. Do not buy their products. They will not work and their level of support is insulting.

Horrible experience!
April 20, 2023

Can I give negative stars? I would if I could. I purchased second computer in 4 years. Spent over $5200. Came within few weeks. Okay so far so good then day I received it would turn on but no data to monitor. Called them up and they said it would need to be sent back. First I spoke with a woman who didn't know what she was talking about at all. I then really got fed up when this other guy was a complete unprofessional jerk. And then that is when I decided not to have them fix it (turn around time too long for me) and just refund the product since it never worked, and they have the audacity to make me pay for the shipping cost! The customer service is horrible and the policy of return should have a clause in there that if the damn thing doesn't work out of the box then they take the shipping for a return! They only take the cost of shipping for repair! Problem is they use UPS ground and that's too slow in combination with full turn around time! So horrible experience I will never use them again for any build!

Missing RAM sticks
February 28, 2023

Unboxed a brand new custom PC, connected my monitor and mouse and keyboard…turned it on. Nothing…oh look, NO RAM STICKS INSTALLED. Contacted tech support and they just flat out deny that a system would ship without them. No help at all and no I am stuck spending more money to get RAM otherwise I just spent thousands on a pretty brick. The claim to have QC'd and sent a screenshot, but that screenshot is just as good as they claim my picture of missing RAM is…terrible service. Don't pay for rush building up front, it doesn't exist and you will just have to fight to get that refunded before you wait weeks for the system. Never again.

We ordered a computer which took months to get, when it arrived it came with a faulty graphics card (the heart of a gaming computer). We are in Canada and the company is in the US. I had to pay to ship my graphics card back to CyberPower to get RMA'ed, when we finally received the card back after a month, it was also faulty. They then wanted me to send back the computer or graphics card at which poitn I had had enough, because again, it would have cost me money to ship back the faulty computer/part. I have not asked for a refund and will be returning this computer. At no point would this company give any kind of compensation for the computer they sent that NEVER worked properly or any kind of apology. It seems they will take your money but will not give you proper customer service. I hope people read this review and avoid doing any business with this company.

Got the computer and let it warm up to room temp for a couple of hours and fired it up. It ran like it should and everything I ordered was included. They sent it double boxed in the corsair case box and the padding and in a larger box. No damage to the computer at all, not even scratch. This is the second computer I have gotten from them and will buy from them again. I chose an AMD5 processor with a 7900xt GPU. I went AMD5 because it is the start of socket while intel's was the end of theirs and I can get upgrades after the fact. Ran out of money for the 7900 xtx but I only run a 2k monitor and the 7900xt runs all the games at ultimate on 2k.

Placed an order for a high-end prebuilt gaming PC. Received it a few days later. Great.

PC was DOA. No video signal at all to any of the 4 monitors that I tested it on. Couldn't even test a different GPU I have in the PC because they installed a generic no name brand non-module PSU that only had a 12-pin GPU connector.

Called CPP up and explained, they started an RMA for the graphics card and said they will call me back a few days later when the shipment arrived. Days go by, no call. I called them and they said their shipment is delayed 3 weeks. No one bothered to call me.
After sitting with this for a few days I decided I would just return the entire PC and look elsewhere with my money. I called CPP up again and they put me through their help line where I sat on hold for an extended amount of time. After I spoke to someone, they said that someone else will have to call me back for the return. No one called me back. I initiated a chat on their site and had that done in no time. Where I was told I'd have to wait 24-48 hours to receive the instructions to return the defective PC. Don't forget that you only have 15 days to get the PC to them or they can deny your refund. So likely only 13 days considering you have to wait for instructions?
Don't forget that they won't cover the shipping costs for a defective product return, so you will have to pay out of pocket some egregious amount to get the PC back to CPP.

Bunch of hurrying up to wait for bunk products. Save your money and buy a prebuild from literally any other company, or just build it yourself.

Buying one is like playing Russian Roulette
February 5, 2023

I have bought 3 computers from cyberpower, the first 2 worked great and for a long time, but the latest one has been a nightmare. The battery essentially stopped working the day the warranty ran out, and customer service has been beyond horrible. Despite that I am a return customer and have recommended them to several friends who made purchases, they treated me like garbage. Not only did they say there was "nothing they could do" they literally did not even know the specs of the battery so I could order a new one, nor if I would be able to do it myself. The support tech also seemed annoyed I would even dare to ask such a thing. I have essentially been unable to use it for more than a couple hours at a time since then. This is not the first time it has had issues, the first month I had it it would freeze everytime it went idle, and sometimes it starts running extremely hot for no reason, despite that I have it on an elevate cooling pad. Their prices are good, but I will never purchase another product from them.

Got my PC, around 4200 for the build, i9 *******k, rtx 3080ti, 2 1tb SSD's. Installation of windows was corrupted, cool no big deal spent a day fixing that. First time a game runs on full speed, the case fans break and start smacking screws. So I submit the RMA request to get it fixed, that takes about 2 weeks in itself to get approved then a week shipping it there, time for repairs and a week shipping it back. I get it back today and the "repairs" they did were removing screws from the case fans and bending the frame they sit on and breaking the graphics card/motherboard slot so now it's worse off than before.

They do not answer tech support calls and they sent me a broken computer. I payed 3400 and got a hunk of metal that does nothing and I have tried for the entire month to get ahold of them for a repair or a refund and they don't respond or answer. The return period is now up and I will have to try and get it repaired elsewhere. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I have purchased many new PC, and gaming PC from many different companies (Costco, Futureshop, Bestbuy, and ibuypower), but only with this company, a brand new gaming PC comes with broken parts. Requested for replacement, I have to pay the shipping fees and it has been almost 3 weeks, still nothing, this is just a replacement for one part, imagine if your PC is broken, most likely will happen with this company. Buy your PC with a large company, don't get yourself cooked.

They will Screw you over
January 27, 2021

This company is known to be really bad with their customer support. However, I took the leap, and tried them anyways, because their prices are so good. The problem is, they didn't have what I ordered. It took 3 months to get ahold of them (benefit of the doubt because of Covid) to find this out. The problem is, they changed the number they go by on the PC from what it was originally on my invoice. On top of that, they took the liberty of changing my RAM of choice with their free RAM and gave me half the amount I ordered. So, when I contacted them about this, they keep saying that the PC doesn't match the invoice I took a screen shot of from their site. Note, it is the only invoice I have through them, and the only PC I own from them. So, now they are refusing to replace the RAM or sending me 2 more 8gb sticks to make the amount of 32gb that I ordered.

Damaged Video Card
June 1, 2022
Updated review

Update, I paid for a PC tech to look at the system. He said CyberPower broke the pins on my video card, geforce rtx 3080 ti 12gb gddr6x which is about a 1200. 00 card at the time it was purchased. Long story short, I paid 500 for the company to damage my video card then return the computer to me to resolve on my own. Don't waste your money with them.

I wasted my money
May 30, 2022
Previous review

My experience with CyberPower PC, I spent $5000 on a new pc with all the high-end parts. It worked for 4 months then would no longer power on. I called tech support; they gave me an RMA # to return for repair. I had to spend another 500.00 to ship and insure this hunk of metal because I don't want to risk losing a $5000 piece of equipment. The turnaround was fast, and they replaced the motherboard and the CPU. It worked for 3 days and now will no longer boot. That means I can spend another 500 to return and repair this thing again or save the money and use an in-home pc repair service. My experience with this company is, I don't have a working PC after spending $5500. 00

I received my PC two months ago.

Good company in my experience. They can be called and you can most often talk to your order service rep, however, they're usually in a hurry to end the call or get to the next one. Not flexible, will not make any changes to order and will ask that you cancel and remake the order even while waiting on parts. Research parts thoroughly to avoid this inconvenience. This is on you, but they could help some.

PRODUCT: (See Product info for specs below)
Boxes are well packaged with tons of cardboard! I've had my machine for 2 months now, ZERO issues. No crashes, runs at reasonable temps under stressful loads. One RAM card side/heat dissipator (Thin cosmetic aluminum siding) appears to be bent, spreading it from the heat sync of the inner-components but was easily re-formed into shape without issue. Works functionally and remains at reasonable temps under stressful loads.

No faulty or under-performing components, computer benches in the 74th percentile of computers with the same components across all areas on average. (better than 73 of 100 of the same build, this is good!)

I'd recommend this company to a friend, with some guidance as to optimal part selection.

First they included a malfunctioning video card, when I returned it they sent me a replacement that was not the same it only had 1 HDMI out and 3 DVI's my original card and 4 HDMI's which was the expectation as I have multiple monitors. That card failed as well. When I sent it back I included a letter telling them that I needed a multi-HDMI out card, they sent me another of that same card with only 1 HDMI. When I called them on it they told me there was nothing they could do, that since there was nothing specified on my order as long as the specs matched that was all they were responsible for. When I asked about returning the entire PC the wanted to charge me a 15% restocking fee. NEVER AGAIN! Customer server is completely useless, and they are a horrible company. I wish I never bought from them.
