One year update
November 14, 2023
Updated review

It's been one year since my computer purchase. The computer constantly stops running apps, even something simple like the MS Windows Sniping Tool or Windows File Explorer will stop working. I've updated drivers, software, etc... but nothing has helped. I have to reboot at least once a day. After a fresh reboot everything will work fine for just a short time and then apps will stop working again forcing a fresh reboot. I suspect some of the hardware installed is not compatible with MS Windows 11, even though the computer came with Windows 11 installed! If I could afford it, I'd just give this thing away and buy a new computer from a good brand name with a solid reputation!

Can't run a computer without a power cord!
December 3, 2022
Previous review

My Cyberpower PC arrived with ZERO accessories. Not even a power cord! I finally recieved the mouse, but still waiting on a keyboard and power cord and wireless card antenna. I also ordered extra fans and received those with NO hardware so I cannot attach them to the case. Horrible experience. Do NOT order from this company. Buy one at a local retail store if you want one.

They are selling garbage.
February 29, 2024
Updated review

I bought a very high priced PC about 2 years ago. I won't say high end, because it has turned out to be garbage. From day one, it seemed to slowly get slower. I thought is was my imagination, but 2 years later, it has basically become a brick. Every single component from motherboard to video card has issues. It can't be just random bad luck. I'm positive they use factory seconds and returns, and put first class prices on items. I would never recommend a friend or even enemies to buy there garbage. Be aware, you have been warned.

I bought a 3600.00 brick
February 7, 2024
Previous review

Thought I was finally getting a really good pc. Spent 3600.00 getting almost everything rated near the best. Pretty much as soon as the warranty ran out,1 year, problems started. Blue screen of death. Tried update windows, update every driver, running windows diagnostic, nothing helped. Reinstalled windows. No help. Today it can't get past welcome screen. So sad. What a waste of money. Cyberpc, a great place to get a really expensive brick.

Terrible customer service
December 12, 2023

Their customer service is excellent when you're in the process of buying something. However, once you've bought a PC and encounter a problem, expect to be kept on hold for 30 minutes, receive no responses to your emails, and generally find that they avoid addressing your concerns, all while retaining your payment.

I ordered an extremely expensive computer from them in November, and any questions I had have been met with pedantry and argument. My order is no further along 2 weeks in than it was on day one. Considering the precious nature of the order, I'm concerned at the lack of care given toward myself and my order. My concerns went from simply asking for slower shipping to concern over whether or not I'll even receive it at all. I will update this when the situation develops.

Purchased computer in nov 2023, screen failed in February 2022, sent to company on our dime ($100). Company said nothing was wrong with the computer and shipped back. Screen was mostly okay for several months then completely stopped working a few days after the warranty was up, exact same issue. Company refuses to fix, sell the part to be fixed and even went so far as to tell a computer repair guy it was out of warranty and can't be fixed. Shady company, horrible service, crap product. Buyer beware, you will lose your money with this company.

Wish I could give negative!
September 14, 2023

Purchased a £4200 system. Overheating all the time. Recently has reached 100 Celsius! Since I don't want to use it as a cooker, I decided to contact them to resolve the issue. It's still in warranty (purchased just 4 months ago)

Initially I didn't want to contact them because I don't trust they can resolve it, because the very first days I had a problem with the BIOS and they didn't know how to resolve it!

Anyway, I requested a box for transport as I didn't have the original box and was afraid to pack it with bubble wraps. They charged me £36 and sent me a broken box inside and outside! Shameless

If something happens to the system or keeps overheating probably we will end up in courts

My worst experience with a retailer so far

Breaks within 1 year
September 19, 2023

The computer system hardware is not durable and breaks within 1 year. Do not buy this product. It is not worth the money spent on it and then to fix it. The company has a warranty that is not friendly for consumers. The company would not fix my broken computer even with proof that it broke within a year. It would be better to purchase a reliable, durable system for gaming beginners.

Long story short, they "helped" with an issue I couldn't resolve on a very pricey PC right up until the warranty for the part that was actually causing the problem expired. Recommend against buying from CyberpowerPC.

Support is absolutely awful
November 22, 2021

My experience with CyberpowerPC support can be summarized as follows:
Support requests via email automatically being closed without a response from a person.
Hour long hold times, only to be redirected elsewhere for more holding.
Chat support that is no faster to get you assistance than over the phone.

Terrible customer service
June 28, 2023

I ordered a custom gaming pc from this site. It was damaged in transit and had to be returned to the sender. Each time I attempted to contact someone, they were dismissive of my concerns as well as rude and condescending. Especially, Steve, their sales manager. I've never experienced this level of hostility from a company. Just asking what the next steps were seemed to offend everyone I spoke with. Additionally, I was hung up on twice. I would definitely pick another website to do business with.

Horrible computer Horrible service
July 2, 2022

I bought 2 computers from these people. I didn't research the service quality enough. My fault and I see that now. They will not honor the warranty after only 7 months. They told me the only way I can say the hinge is defective is to prove it when it was delivered. It was normal wear. Which lead to the screen breaking. They are very unprofessional and unhelpful of course because they wont even honor their word. I'm at a loss of $1500. Repairs will cost $700 or more. I will continue to tell ppl too!

Severe issues
May 29, 2022

I returned my PC about 10 days after getting it at Bestbuy. I woke up one morning, turned it on, and after about one minute of using the PC and only running Firefox--screen goes black reading "No Signal" and the fans start spinning like crazy. Of course no connection to the screen, I had no choice but to force a shut-off by holding the power button. I decided to try again, and it happened 3 more times. After getting support at Bestbuy, they recommended returning it because it could be a graphics card issue or faulty wiring. Stay away from CyberpowerPC! They obviously have some glaring oversights in their production.

They just offer replacement parts that are also crappy. Computer is not useable while parts are in transit because you have to send the part in before you receive a new one. CyberPowerPC builds garbage units. You might as well build your own and save yourself the time and effort. Making people a premium for a crap product and then not providing true technical support is not a good business model.

When you buy a brand new computer and it black screens in 5 days should be a red flag. Not only that but then I get asked to send a part back that is faulty and its damaged in the return shipping they void the warranty on the part and tell me tough luck. On a faulty part! No compassion and only care about your money, they might as well have had a computer answer the phone. People pay hard earned money for a product they expect to work and get trash. I dont recommend this company to anyone, a d will certainly do my best to spread the word that they are not the award winning company they seem to used to have been.

I had picked the components for a laptop, a Tracer V series. I added the Killer Wifi card as one of the upgrades. Not two weeks went by before the card failed, giving me "Error 10". I chatted with support which, no lie was almost an hour wait. Was given instructions to download new software, which didn't work. Still read Error 10. It took looking through reddit to find out a large majority of these cards fail from this brand. To add insult to injury, I had to wait another hour just to get someone on the phone to tell me I can't get a different card for the same value, which cost $130. My options are to exchange it, but get this, I pay to have it shipped to them. I have to pay to ship a card that they know is defective, from a brand that everyone has an issue with? And get the same type of wifi card? My mistake was not going to Dell like I should have.

Just wanna share my experience with these guys.

Ordered a RTX 4090 Tracer VII system on the memorial day sale, total about $2700.

24 hours later, rep emails me they confirm the order and will begin processing.

3 hours after that, I get an email saying they cancelled my order due to their "fraud department," flagging the transaction,

I email back asking for clarification,

No response

Call today,

They wont give any further information, other then I should order using another method, not a credit card (:-O) Now, I have 8 different credit cards, and perfect credit, so this seems a bit strange, but okay, fine.

Conveniently, the price has increased by $150.;-)

No, they won't place the order again on the original pricing. They can't "help" me.

Seems a bit shady to me, like a bait and switch;-)

If the support is this bad before the purchase, I fear what will happen afterwards. Perhaps I should count myself lucky.

Terrible customer service
July 23, 2022

Ordering was easy. The computer was built and sent in the timeframe depicted. So far the computer is useless. It came with a defective part. It's taking forever to get a replacement for that part. It's been a month. These people are slow. I'm very disappointed and wish I'd gone with someone elsewhere

Anything else is better
May 22, 2023

Ordered a top of the line PC during the parts shortage when the 30 series cards came out. I don't know if they were overwhelmed or just poorly trained but man... this thing was in bad shape.

Issues:
- 6 month wait time
- HDD not connected
- Broken fan on arrival
- Dying fan after 1 month
- CPU thermal paste sub par
- Protective film still on M.2 thermal pad
- The longest daisy chain of fans I have ever seen
- Missing motherboard hardware
- 3090 died just out of warranty
- Incorrect memory timings
- Terrible customer service (ghosted 3 times then when i was out of warranty they were very fast to reply)

Trash company. Avoid like the plague!
