Terrible experience
June 29, 2022

I purchased an "Instant Ship" computer from CyberPower PC on Friday, June 24. It was delivered on Monday, June 27. I specifically chose an "instant ship" model because we needed a PC immediately to work on a specific project. On Tuesday, June 28, we set up the PC and noticed the graphics card was not working. We called CyberpowerPC and over the next 6 hours had to try to physically re-install the graphics card, update drivers, wait on hold, call multiple times and more. During that time we were also treated like we were idiots and/or thieves. We have extensive experience with both hardware and software so we immediately knew it was a graphics card issue, but we went through all the steps and wasted an entire day of our time to come to the conclusion the graphics card needed to be replaced. CyberpowerPC wanted us to send the computer back, wait for it to be fixed and then wait for it to be shipped back – a process that would take weeks. Considering we spent $2600 on an "Instant Ship" system, this was not acceptable. We asked for a replacement and were told "no." We asked for a refund so we could purchase something else and they agreed, but they would NOT cover the cost of shipping back to them. As per their "terms" our refund will also not include the shipping costs to get the computer to us. Considering they sent us a non-functional computer, this is not acceptable. We would like a full refund including the cost of shipping/insurance both ways.

Don't buy!
September 9, 2022

This is the second CyberPower PC I have purchased. Absolutely garbage, spent $3K, the graphics card is dodgy, mouse stays on when PC is off, can't handle WoW Classic any better *actually worse than my last $900 PC* I reached out, they want to charge me to send it back... I bought less than 6 months ago...

Don't buy from them. Tried to reason with them, and they're so incompetent. They're unable to make a simple phone call to get something done.

Do not buy from them!
February 11, 2023

I purchased my $5400 pc with over night shipping and receive it before Christmas which is an extra $200. I ordered one with the nvidia 4090 and upon receiving my pc I checked the 4090 plug in to make sure it was plugged in properly. Not only was it not plugged in properly, it had metal tabs sticking out. I called customer support and they said a repair would be needed. I also said i would like a refund on my overnight shipping and receive it before Christmas which was a $200 value. The customer service said "technically you did receive your pc before Christmas". I asked her are you seriously trying to take credit for me getting a broken pc. Her response was "I'll have to ask if you can get one." I didnt receive a $200 refund and was told that my pc repair would be rushed priority. They paid for ground shipping which took 7 days for them to receive. It has been 3 weeks and I still havent heard anything from my order. I canceled the order. It has been 1.5 months and still no pc that works. I had to call customer service 4 times in 10 day. Every time I called i was assured i would receive a email so i could return their remaining parts by the end of the day. Once i finally received my refund it was only for $5200, they kept the shipping and get the pc before Christmas $200 value. This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Please go somewhere else!

First, I'd like to ask for all those who are experiencing what I am going through. Have you ever gotten your refund back? Had to pay $69 for their label to send their junk back and that will be taken out of my refund but yet when you call for the status of your refund, they transfer you to someone else and no one answers Sent them several videos of the problem and they think it's the video card. I've read a lot of your reviews and it all sounds the same cyber power has gone downhill. It's best to buy local so that you can return and get refunds instead of going through the headaches that everybody is posting, at least you can get your questions answered by buying local to me the Internet has gone wild everything you buy seems to be junk or you don't get what is expected and you have to send back and get refunds but when you have a support team that you can call and you still don't get answers That takes the cake will not do business with cyberpower and if you were smart, you do the same and I hope you're doing your research on companies or on items if you got 70% one star rating over a 5% five star rating stay away from a company like this.

Generally have had no issues, only thing is that the cpu cooler was not good enough for the cpu in the computer (i9 *******k), it was the preset option and it was a 1 fan liquid cooler which wasn't good enough so i had to install a noctua NH-D15S but other than that no problems. Good quality for prebuilts, would recommend

Never Buy from them
September 28, 2022

I had 3 different PC's from them and every time there were major issues. In essence the selling point of this company is that they will build a PC for you (which they do terrible job of doing), preform cable management for extra charge (which again they don't really do anything), install the OS, test it (which they don't do as in one of the scenarios the system wouldn't even boot and in the last one it will BSOD few minutes in) and ship it to you so you don't have to worry about it. Two of the PC's had issues with wiring and I had to take them fully apart (so you better know how to build the PC yourself) the 3rd was missing cables that the sales person told me would be there for my second hard drive. Their support is especially bad as they essentially tell you they don't care and if you want to ship your PC back go ahead but you are paying for return label as well as restocking fee.

Spent $3,000 on a high end gaming PC; CyberPower gave me a date, then delivered it a month off of schedule when I was out of town. Called them multiple times, they said UPS wouldn't leave the PC without signature. They dumped it outside, it was stolen, and CyberPower has basically wiped their hands clean and refuses to activate their insurance with UPS, find the PC, or do anything to address. On top of that, Patricia who manages claims, was horrible to me on the phone - RUDE, downright mean, despite they messed up and my package never showed up. They are forcing me to contact my credit card company. Honestly SHOCKED at how they treated me, and now I'm out $3k and a computer. DO NOT do business with them, you will regret it, as I have.

I purchased what I thought was going to be a great gaming computer from CyberpowerPC. IT cost me nearly $3000, and came with a 3080RTX and a AMD 5900x. What they didn't tell me that it came with was a CPU fan that couldn't cool the processor, some terrible RAM and worst of all a PSU that started smoking and fried my equipment. When I contacted the support at CyberpowerPC they told me that they wouldn't do anything for me since its out of their 1 year warranty period... What a joke... Now I'm out of my $3k with less then 1.5 years of use. Don't let my experience be yours, stay away from this brand if you know what's good for you.

Poorly Built, No Help Provided
March 20, 2022

I bought a $2800 PC from these guys. When I got it, I noticed the CPU was getting up to 100 degrees Celsius when I played high-end games. I called to complain and they said to send it back AT MY COST and they'd take a look. After spending $2800, that wasn't happening.

Took it to a local computer shop and they found out the CPU cooling fan connector was connected to the case cooling fan header! What the $#*!? They could NOT have stress tested this PC or would have noticed the temps were ridiculous right away.

He also moved the fan to the opposite side of the box to fix other cooling issues. My PC now runs fantastically, no thanks to this company.

FYI, he charged me $80, which is a lot less than mailing the PC back just to have them $#*! up again. When I contacted them and told them how they screwed up, the response was, "Well, there's nothing we can do about it." No refund, no apology, no credit.

This was my first cyberpowerpc and it will be my last. I have two iBuyPower PCs and never had any problems.

I got the computer and the monitor was blurry. Assuming since it was an old monitor that somehow made it incompatible. So I ordered a new one. Still blurry, so I get on their site. Try to "live chat" with them. After about 30 minutes I click the send me an email when available.
I found a bunch of info online about this being common so I tried all that, none of it worked. Found out the video card wasn't working. Went to Nvidia support, they were wonderful. Within 30 minutes we went through a bunch of diagnostic and found out the hardware for the video card wasn't working.
After 4 days I call cyberpower and get on the "live chat" again. At 4pm it dropped me from the live chat saying they were unavailable. I spent an hour and a half on the phone on hold, with it saying average wait time of 13 minutes. Gave up and called to get a refund. The person on the phone for the refund had a terrible attitude, told him what happened and he said, ok. Thats it. Then they are going to charge you shipping to return a damaged product that never worked. So for $370 I got a new monitor out of it, that I did not get from them. Stay away from this company.

I ordered a $2,000 PC in 2020. 10 months using the computer - I'm told by customer service help that it sounds like the INTEL processor is dying. Cyberpowerpc was great at replacing it and because I paid for the shipping service in my order ($19.00) it shipped back for free, BUT 6 months after that repair, the SAME thing happened. Seriously!

My personal experience with computers goes back 40 years. I taught end users in the early 90s. I have never purchased a "premade" PC. I've always customized my builds and I've always used INTEL processors. In all that time, I've never had ONE let alone TWO INTEL processors die on me. It is odd and obviously not a character of a PC to have two INTEL processors die. Cyberpowerpc returned the repaired PC with the invoice stating it was the processor. Then the exact same behavior began again 5 months later and quickly just died. I now have a DEAD PC. I've emailed the company and so far I've received nothing but canned emails in return. No customer service, well I guess that's expected since my original warranty is now expired. But anyone paying $2 grand on a PC should be able to expect it to last longer than 16 months. Yes, this PC was upgradable to Windows 11 but died first.

ADVICE: Go back to Dell or HP. Do not use.
I am usually reserved about any negative reviews, but I feel spending $2,000 on a gaming PC should not die within 16 months. I had a Dell XPS back in 2006 and it ran until 2012. So, I've gone back to Dell. They customize so you can get what you want from them. My new one is around $1500 and better than this one that died twice in 16 months.

Had an issue with my computer less than a year in. Got an RMA for it and sent it in. Paid the shipping prices cause they dont cover that and they sent me back my computer with a new SSD. Great!
After receiving it i plugged it in to find out the computer was in worse shape than when I sent it to them. The GPU was also completely dead. I got ahold of them and they set up a new RMA. I had to send them the broken GPU for them to send me a "New" one. I received it a few days ago and it is also busted. I called them back and they want to set up a 3RD Rma to fix it. Where i would need to pay for the shipping for a 3rd time to get it to them to send me more broken components. No trust they will fix the issue and no faith in them as a company.
DO NOT BUY CYBERPOWER PCS
They have the worst customer service ive ever seen in my life.

Purchased a new computer from them (I'm a long time loyal customer). Upon receiving it and setting it up the computer showed blue screen and 'disk repair' prompt. Called tech support, they told me that windows must be corrupted. How can that be? This is the first time I'm powering up the computer and it does not work? I had to send the computer back. Spoke with tech support on status. Was told 10-14 days. I have lost over 3 weeks of productivity due to their incompetence. How does a computer not work right out of the box? Is there any quality control? Apparently not. There was also no attempt at compensation for this. Trust me, I will NEVER purchase another product from this company and in my line of work (Web design, software engineering and game testing) I will make it my life's mission to let everyone I come across to STAY AWAY FROM CYBERPOWERPC. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERRIBLE QUALITY CONTROL. This company is a perfect example of leadership failure. Make defective products, send them to customers, and when they don't work tell the customer, 'oh well, that's just too bad.'

I read many reviews before I purchased from CyberPower. I was excited to buy a "gaming laptop" and didn't see anything horrible. I'm not an IT expert but I'm pretty knowledgeable. And I'm glad I purchased the return shipping because I've had nothing but problems with the laptop. The first time I received it, new out of the box, it had issues with the keyboard flickering and the wifi adapter, updating drivers did not help. So, I sent it back, their support was standard -hard to understand but solution was provided, and it would have cost an arm and leg if I didn't purchase the return shipping. I received the laptop back 4 weeks later -keyboard and wifi seemed "fixed". 2 months later more issues, and the other issues came back. BSoD, sluggish, wifi adapter issues (still the same). Keep in mind I only had the laptop in my possession for less than 3 months.
The Laptop came with 16gb ram, so I upgraded it to 32- thinking that was the culprit but nope. I've run multiple cmd scans, and checked for loose parts. At this point it's just a heavy paperweight with some laptop functionality. I would recommend staying away from CyberPower if you're looking for anything operational and long lasting.

When buying the $1000 dollar pc they failed to put the RTX in so, leading to no screen on the monitor which means the computer being completely useless and when I had an attempt on fixing it we figured out that the RTX would pop out whenever an HDMI and more is plugged in.
