I purchased a car radio for my wife's vehicle. It's an older vehicle but she loves it and she loves music. I was concerned that, because the vehicle is an older model, I wouldn't be able to find a modern radio that was compatible. I was wrong! They had numerous radios to choose from and once I chose my radio they had everything I need to make the installation a breeze. The wiring harnesses were automatically shown to me after I picked my radio. It was my choice to purchase them or decline. I never felt pressured and accepting or declining the extras was simple. I accepted them and I was glad that I did. After I made my choice, I had a question about the capability of the radio. I sent them an email and they answered me almost immediately. The representative was polite and thoroughly informative. They also included step-by-step-by-step instructions. So easy, I think I will let my grandkids do the next install!
The products were priced very competitively throughout the industry. The parts came in very quickly and install was a breeze. They knew my vehicle and what I needed to get it done and it all worked flawlessly. I called in for some help over the phone with my Bluetooth connectivity and within five minutes the crutchfield tech had me up and running. I will use them again for sure. I like a company that will be there for you long after the sale and that is definitely who crutchfield is. Good job guys you made my life easier.
I have been using Crutchfield since around 1985. The catalog was okay, but the website is fantastic. The ability to punch in your vehicle and find what you are looking for saves so much time. I had only used the site for cars and motorcycles until a year or so back when i bought a 65" TV. Again, perfect products, great selection, outstanding customer service. Why would you shop anywhere else!

I recently bought a car stereo from Crutchfield, and of course it came with installation gear. I've never installed a car stereo before, though so I couldn't get everything working right. I called their phone support and they were extremely nice and helpful. We narrowed it down to a radio issue, and Crutchfield was happy to send me a replacement. In addition to having generally cheap prices, Crutchfield has the amazing customer service that many businesses (especially online stores) lack now. The price of the radio was cheap, the installation gear free, and phone support invaluable. 10/10 experience.

I was very disappointed with my experience. I purchased a Pioneer head unit, which I was told the dish kit and wiring harness was included. They sent everything but the dash kit had 2 left hand pieces included and wasnt able to install the unit. The wiring harness wasnt the correct one for my vehicle and again wasnt able to install. I ended spending more money for the correct items at my local stereo shop.
The money I thought I was saving was lost due to the incompetence of Crutchfield.

Okay, maybe not quite. But: I received the box from UPS by 2 PM, and put the last piece of trim back onto my truck by 4:30 PM. The installation kits from Crutchfield are top notch! My steering wheel controls all work, and the Kenwood looks practically OEM. I can't wait to start accessorizing further, by adding the dashcam and backup cam. My stock Bose speakers sound 100% better, and I have these new Kenwood speakers to install: I think I'll put them in the rear speaker locations. Then, add a subwoofer. Oh yeah, then there's that handy audio input which I can wire into my Kenwood ham radio tranceiver! My wife is going to love the newly integrated Android app that puts google maps onto the stereo face: I tried it this morning and it works like a charm. Hands-free cell calls? It's pretty much intuitive. Crutchfield, I really like how you curate these products of yours and put in the effort to really fine-tune the installation process. Fast shipping, the head unit, wiring harness and dash install kit arrived in a couple days and in great shape, plus i got a email with all the install instructions of how to remove the head unit and speakers, and how to install the new head unit and speakers and how to wire it, other companies just sell you the merchandise and dont care if you know how to install it or not, its good to see a company that cares about its customers
