Constant drop on internet and cable for the past 5 years. And no one cares the technicians are in experienced, cannot find the problems. Funny thing is after at least fifty times of complaining still not fixed and they charge you full price.
Cox Communication Customer Service Representatives typically appear to have not received adequate training. Additionally, it has been my experience most representatives lack basic knowledge of service provided and will quickly become frustrated and rude...even lie to get off the phone without resolution.
I'm so angry with Cox wifi, first, this is the only service in our community which means I have no choice. During my 9 months of using it, I can rate them 1.5! They are the most unstable networking ever! Especially during this month, I have no idea why they suddenly disappeared multiple times and frequently! I can safely say that it has lost 5-6 times in the last two weeks! One time during my meeting, everyone has to stop it, and it takes 30 mins for them to fix it, another time I was taking a quiz! It suddenly disconnects, I have got a low score. What's worst? Their customer service, like now, at 10:00 pm, my networking broken, and not any emergency services can provide now! Which means I have to wait until tomorrow, and this isn't the first time I've had an Internet blackout at night and no one can help me!
So, choose another company if you have a choice, a stable and better one!
The amazing music being sent to us on your Contour channel 954 is outstanding of late. For many months it was not good at all. In our home, we turn to that music channel every day beginning at 6:00 AM until 7:00 PM. Unfortunately for television broadcasting, we do not watch anything else on TV and have not for over ten years. My wife records some movies to watch. I record some sports to watch. That's it. We live in San Clemente, California.
On Sept. 8,2022, I spoke with Xavier about my bill and monthly plan. Xavier was able to reduce my monthly obligation and did it quickly and efficiently. I could tell he was experienced and very well qualified to assist me. I took the time to write about Xavier because I think when someone goes above and beyond helping, someone should tell someone else.
Constantly having to reset modem & cable box! In one month I've had 4 "connection issue", when all I do is unplug the power connections, then it works... for a couple of weeks! Don't waste your money!

Cox has the absolute worst internet service. It's very slow and spotty. I did have the free 30 day trial because I moved into my new apartment waiting to get my new wifi that I have with Verizon set up. I almost thought about switching my service out of convenience to cox but the service was at the lowest speed and barely worked. It worked for my streaming services but as far as me using my phone on wifi it was horrible. I have the lowest speed with Verizon and I only pay $55 a month is it's amazing. Granted I was paying $50 for cox lowest speed but I'd rather spend an extra $5 dollars for reliable internet.
Service is adequate, though constant cable internet blips and disruptions. Pricing not so good, but at least they made an effort to look at their pricing schedule and customize something competitive enough to retain my business. Tech support for the few times i called them were ok. Nothing really exceeds expectations.
As much as I pay for this internet (almost 200 a month) it is annoying as all hell how often it goes down. This time was the longest it has been - more than 24 hours. And on Christmas. Completely ruined my holiday. Customer service is very hard to get a hold of, and when you do, they are totally worthless. A lot of them are incredibly rude too: they will just hang up on you.
I have been with this company since 2019. Their prices have always been outrages but I stayed loyal. I recently moved to a new address and long story short, the representative and I made an agreement. Well, my second bill comes around and it I notice it is more than double the agreed price. I contact them and after speaking to 5 different online representatives and getting kicked out of the chat, they refused to honor their previous agreement. Then, when I requested to cancel, they demanded I paid an early termination fee. It is extremely disappointing that this company has no integrity or loyalty to those who have been loyal to them. I'd rather be without internet at this point. Stay away from this company!
Bundles these days are crap, Need to be ready to play the game and leave to go to other vendors. Get offer for free equipment (even notifications) but when you go there there is nothing no cost they want you to rent the modem. Packages you have to yearly ask them to give you a locality pricing but that should be automatic not have to beg, prices go up and services get poorer.

Horrible company they take advantage of disabled people. I'm a Traumatic brain injury survivor and spent 8 hrs last month switching my plan to a lower plan and they ended up charging me more money and not decreasing my internet.

Warned me about late charges and fees and a statement was made that my payment
Maybe delayed in being credited to my account. This is the type of arrogance this

Started cable and internet with Cox, by month TWO my bill went up by 50.00. Was quoted one price guaranteed for the first year. That lasted a month. They do a bait and switch with their customers. I'm in Nevada. Cox Cable should be renamed Con Cable. Was guaranteed my monthly price by a guy named Andrew. Spoke to a manager named Steven who said, "yes Andrew lied and I will report him" what good does that do me? Ripoff.
I had to get cox because of where I moved to. The service does not connect to my cameras or speakers despite having a high service. If there is an outage it takes days to get it back. They are also higher than att. The app is terrible. Customer service is nice but in all unhelpful. Extremely disappointed. I will definitely be moving just so I can get back to a decent service. They charge for everything.
I tried to save money by switching from Cox. As my Dad used to say you get what you pay for. Competitor rates may work for you for home entertainment. If you work from home as I do and depend on internet for income, I would recommend spending the 100 dollars more a month.Their Customer service is always trying to sell you and raise the Bill. But the Quality of their Service Rep doesn't suck. You don't have to spend hours on the phone and get transferred around with tech support. One Call and you are Good.To sum up, Cox isn't Cheap. They are well managed and maintenance.
They are not sending bill generated notification in email, not via text, not even in mail and then after the due date is passed then they are sending a letter in mailbox stating that you email was not sent due to some technical difficulties. I mean there are other ways to contact customer to notify him/her about the newly generated bill. Also when I try to explain the situation to the customer representative (named Joe.) she just hanged up the chat without giving me satisfying answer. Very rude and mean people are working in COX internet.
I have been with cox for 3 years now. They don't have well trained customer service representatives. The chat is not helpful at all. They close chat once they have no idea what they are doing. I have to go back EXPLAIN MYself again. Just to get the runaround. I screen shot my conversation to show what answers I get from previous representatives. They still give me the run around and disconnect chat AGAIN. Getting charges and not able to get answers why? It's frustrating. I will definitely be looking to cancel this service asap. Train your representatives better to serve us loyal paying customers! JS I will not recommend anyone to use the chat. Not helpful at all..
