Firstly the attentive service struck me as above and beyond expectation. The design team don't just take the measurement you provide they build it into a diagram for the customer to check. They also use their expertise to check it is actually sensible. In my case I'd missed an essential few inches which was spotted by the team and I was asked to check. They were right and I was wrong. This makes the chance of receiving a poorly fitting cover most unlikely.

You are asked to give measurements and warned that you are not liable for mistakes, yet you add 8 inches of leeway to my order, making the sun shade totally unfit for purpose as it will not fit the space.

Our product page clearly tells one that the final product would be constructed with an additional leeway, hence, the original order was made in accordance with our practices as there wasn't a note or instruction on the order, nor a schematic or an image to apprise us of your need.
Thus, this error does not fall on us or our constituent teams. Regardless, in view of client satisfaction, our complaint team has made a one-time exception by authorizing a replacement for this order without any leeway even though the requested proof wasn't shared in your complaint email. Only disappointment was with the material itself, not at all what I was expecting based on the images on the website. Colour was a lot darker and material much coarser. One of the dangers of online shopping.

Steve, we are sorry to note the inconvenience. We shall certainly try to relay this feedback to our packaging team. Sadly, as this is a heavy-duty PVC coated polyester, removing creases is difficult because using a heat gun or a hot air blower directly may impact the fabric quality in areas where the heat application is too direct. One can try hanging the cover vertically on a clothesline and secure the hanging sides and edges using cloth pegs or something similar. Then use a warm handheld shower to slowly wet and increase the pliability of the surface. Take care not to use or apply too much hot water to the surface. Then using a handheld squeegee or a window wiper try to work your hand diagonally or away from the crease. Try repeating this procedure for 2 runs at the maximum and then keep it secured for drying. Once sufficiently dry, you may either use it directly or use an indirect ironing technique ( i. E using an ironing sheet) at a low setting to iron the fabric from the inner side (shinier and rough inside) to remove the minor creases that remain.
This method would hopefully help resolve the problem. Regards
