Like many others here, my shopping experience with Cooks Store has been mostly negative. The length of time between order and delivery is excessively late, nine times out of ten. I usually choose not to leave a negative review, but this time was just just too much. After waiting for almost nine weeks, I contacted the store again and requested a refund. Another week went by without the refund, and my inquiry about it went unanswered, so, in the next email, I characterize the service as 'horrible' and demanded my refund, which elicited a confirmation email the next day, but neither acknowledged the gross inconvenience caused nor offered a token apology (even though I have spent several thousand dollars at this store). When a store has inconvenienced customers, wasting their time unreasonably and causing repeated disappointments, acknowledging the inconvenience and offering a token apology (however empty) makes a huge difference in lessening the negative impact of the shopping experience. I seriously doubt I will ever patronize this store again.
Excellent communication and follow through. Received product in tip top condition and exactly as advertised. Highly recommend your company.

Ordered kitchen aid mixer on May 02 - it is now August 07- no delivery just vague excuses - I have cancelled the order through my credit card company (first time ever I have had to do this)
Awful experience - do not use - this screams a company on the edge of going under - run away - do not buy you will throw your money away - go to the Bay or any high st place but not here
I placed an order on March 31,2020 for a KitchenAid mixer. It's already April 21,2020, and I haven't received a tracking number or any update on my order. The support team always comes back with the same cookie-cutter answer saying they can't help. I asked for a refund and they keep ignoring me, they basically stole my money. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS, this store is a scam. I'd give 0 stars if I could.
I really wish I knew about all the bad reviews this store had before placing an order for a very expensive pan. There is no one to talk with as their answering machine doesn't take calls and they don't respond to emails. I ordered online for Black Friday and I am still waiting for the product. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
Good news -yes they did refund my credit card after a month+ after much time and effort on my part. One can only assume they follow such practices to cover their own money flow issues.
I ordered an item-over $600 value, decided to return item unopened directly back with shipper (as directed by cookstore). Item ordered beginning of Jan 2020, item received back to cookstore on Jan 13. I have called and emailed regarding refund and have not received anything. Everytime i am in contact with them there is a different story. I don't know if i will ever get my $600+ back. DO NOT order from cookstore- they do not act in good faith
No order sent. Money taken. PayPal dispute, omitted taxes charged on refund. Totally not honest! Do not buy from here.

Given that I hate making the behemoth online supplier even richer at the expense of local companies, thought I'd try a Canadian company. I bought a brand of knives that I could not find in a local store - Victorinox - Blue 8" Fibrox Pro Straight Blade Chef Knife - (supporting local retail is always my first choice). Placed the order and It was confirmed, shipped and I had it a few days after I ordered it. Easy peasy!

I bought the Global boning knife for my daughter who is about to compete in the Skills Ontario Culinary Arts competition and the knife is perfect, very sharp and size options where great. This has been my second purchase and I will continue to use this store for all of my daughters culinary needs Thank you
THIS "BUSINESS" IS NOT FULFILLING ORDERS. THEY ARE JUST TAKING MONEY FROM PEOPLE AND NOT DELIVERING ANYTHING. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT AND THEIR PHONE NUMBER JUST LEADS TO AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE THAT IMMEDIATELY SAYS THEY'RE EXPERIENCING A HIGH VOLUME OF CALLS AND TO TRY AGAIN LATER. I placed my order and srarted worrying when I saw some negative reviews on internet. But my experience of this purchase turned out great. Parcel arrived two days later and package was good.
I placed an order on Nov. 12th & realised it was incorrect. I then had an on-line chat with Sara. She helped me exchange my item & told me a partial refund would be put thru. Nov. 29th shows no activity so I followed up. I am now told that it is backordered 2-4 weeks. I asked them why the delay from the 12th to the 29th just so I can exchange this and get a partial refund when it was verbally confirmed on-line. Hanna, Sara and Now Hanna again. They are not responding to their emails, & when you go-on line for chat, they just kick you off and state NO LONGER accepting current orders, you must go thru EMAIL. These guys will only HELP you if you give them $, otherwise they drop you like yesterdays garbage. I am still waiting for a full refund & a response. Who knows how long THAT will take? So much for their VM stating "They're #1 in Customer Service" (insert choice words) sooooo NOT TRUE.
We found that they have a variety of kitchen items which impressed us. Our local off-web stores don't provide i. E. finding 2 knives to match our collection for the 4 Star brand from Henckel (Zwilling -Henckel) was just not available - 4" paring along with 5.5" vegetable prep knives. I also asked for a matching handguard for our Mandoline veggie slicer that was misplaced. This part was also impossible to find locally or in WA state. CookStore was able to find that Handguard for us. A tip of the hat to them
Website said Braun coffee maker was made in Germany. I suspected not and when it arrived, sure enough it is made in China. Otherwise a convenient place to shop for kitchen stuff.
This is scam. After you place order, then you will not get your product. I already started credit card dispute process. Does anyone know how to report this website to fraud department.
