This deserves 0 stars, but I'm forced to give it a star. I ordered my espresso machine in Oct 2022. It still has not arrived! Rip off! Do not buy anything from this store. No response from so called customer service after repeated emails to them. Initially they did and then disappeared with my money.

Google reviews list it as closed, it is not they'll take your money and ghost you. I've tried calling, email and visiting (I'm 50km away). No answers. On visiting the lights are on and there were a few vehicles in the lot. Signage is still there. Google maps has it blocked out but it's there. I'm going to assume it's a failing or failed business. What I question as being fraudulent is that they have a post holidays 24hr sale going on. It's been up for five days or more now on their web site. Do not give these folks your credit card number, they'll take your money and that'll be the last you'll hear. You'll get a confirmation email but that'll be it. I ordered a product on August 30 2022. It has been over 4 months and a new year has passed. The product never arrived.
I have emailed customer service for a refund 5+ times. I have called them every day. No one answers your emails or picks up the phone. I do not believe this is a working phone line.
They refuse to offer a refund for a product they never sent. All the reviews on their site are fake. Look at all the downvotes on their reviews! This store is a scam.

I used to buy a lot of equipment from them from 2020 to 2022 in spring. They always delivered and replaced broken items, if needed. My last order was Nov 22 and the stuff never arrived. In Jan 2023 I tried contacting them and found out, they went out of business. The credit card charge was easy to get back. I wonder what happened, they used to be my #1 store for hight quality kitchen items. Good prices also.

In November 2022, I ordered 2 series of plates and 1 week later I received part of my order. My credit card was charged in November and I am still waiting for a credit or my plates. In January 2023, I contacted them again and they still don't answer my e-mails. This company is not honest or reliable. I strongly suggest to avoid this company if you don't want to be frustrated and lose your money!

Why have there been no formal complaints of fraud levelled against this company. Will not rehash my situation but is identical to the vast number of one star reviews. No product, money taken, Absolutely no communication! Can't add proof of purchase, no product ever received. Latest response to my email -" *******@cookstore.ca>: Host or domain name not found. All of my purchases from this website were great purchases. In 2016 I blender and coffee maker both of which are still operational. 2020 I purchased aDelongi convection oven still operational and in 2021 I purchased a knife sharpener, a boning and slicing/carving knife and a food processor and never had a problem with any of these purchases. I am sorry to know that my fellow consumers have had so many bad experiences

The most recent positive reviews here date back to 2020. Clearly the site is still operating under the guise of being in business and simply taking people's money with no intent of shipping product.
Submitted a dispute claim with Visa for the $500 coffee maker I purchased as a Christmas gift. Takes up to 30 days to confirm the outcome and whether I'll get a refund.
The fact that they didn't charged tax should have cued me right away that something was fishy.
Thought I was a savvy online shopper. Won't make the same mistake again.

Cookstore took my money and after several emails apologized for the one month delay in delivery. That was their last communication despite several follow up emails from me when there was still no delivery. 2 1/2 months later I have not received my order. A little (unfortunately subsequent) research on the web showed their "store" to be a rented warehouse. The company last listing on any Ontario business registry is 2011. Lesson learned - do your research first if you and your friends have never heard of the enterprise. Be warned!

I've shopped at Cookstore.ca many times over the past 5 years. Their selection of high quality cookware is among the best I've seen in Canada. While delivery sometimes takes a little while, they keep me posted and always come through -- and I've found it's worth the wait for excellent products, some which can't be found anywhere else. Recently, they went above and beyond: I had ordered a high-end item that unfortunately had a defect that was revealed on use; when I went to the manufacturer, their customer service was surprisingly and disappointingly inadequate. I contacted Cookstore.ca and explained the situation, and without any further questions they made it right. Kudos to Cookstore.ca for being a responsive -- and responsible -- retailer!

Ordered a $1840 coffee grinder in November 2021, and as of mid February 2022 I have neither received my order not even been given an update on when I may ever see it.
It took 5 emails to get a vague update in early January saying the manufacturer was out of stock... no updates since, no offers for a refund.

Looked for cookware for daughter's new home. Promising site with good prices. Placed 2 orders on mid November and my credit card was charged promptly. If only the goods ordered were shipped as promptly. At this point, neatly 3 weeks later, nothing. Called their number: recorded message on repeat with no option to talk to anyone or even leave a message. There is an email address on the web site and another included on that recorded message. The latter promised a response in one business day. No reply. I can only conclude this business is a fraud with a nice storefront but nothing behind it except some scammers. I will be working with my bank and the police to shut these guys down.
Worked with BMO, alerting them to the problem. Ended up spending a little time with their fraud department to explain what I believed was going on. No direct response but the charges were reversed on the next statement.

In August 2022 I ordered and paid for two cheese graters and an extra fine grater attachment - order # *******. These items were going to be Christmas gifts and I thought that I had ordered them in plenty of time to receive them in December 2022. On August 11th I paid $165.87 for my order. I checked on my order about once a month and received the same response numerous times: "I apologize for the delay on your order. Unfortunately, the information I currently have available indicates that your items and delay and are estimated to arrive in 2-3 weeks." Cookstore did not deliver and they have my money. I really wanted these items and I don't know why I am getting such a run-around. I had also ordered a commercial dishwasher for our Kaslo Senior's Hall and it arrived and we are very happy with that purchase. What is going on? Are they still in business?

I can't express how bad this site service is. I made an order months ago, my credit card has been charged right away and I'm still waiting for my goods.
Contacted the "helpdesk" many times. Every time, I've been told to wait 2-4 weeks. It's 12 weeks now. They refuse to refund pretending that the order is sent to "shipping".
It's so bad. Please, do yourself a favor and don't buy from this store.

Do not be enticed by the discounts on the items, it has been two months since I ordered my product; Everything that you think is in-stock isn't in-stock, it doesn't even exist in their warehouse that also doesn't exist. I have ordered several items from Cook Store. Always had very good service. Excellent selection of products. The last item I ordered was going to be late getting to me (through no fault of their own) so they offered a superior product that was in stock at no extra charge. I would definitely order from them again.

Nice set but arrived with 2 damaged glass lids. Trying to communicate with customer service but no replies back. Not impressed with their service. All I want is 2 replacements lids or the value of the lids so I can replace them. I wrote a review before but for some reason it doesnt get posted. Maybe because I dont give it a 5 stars.
