I've purchased from Cookstore a few times and while they're not Prime they did fulfill my orders pretty quickly. They have moved their warehouse out of Mississauga but it didn't seem to delay shipping. I will continue to shop with them as I've not had any issues so far.
My order was placed almost a month ago. No ability to see order status without loading an app they recommend, no reply to 4 emails asking for an update, phone number just tells you to send an email. No shipping information a month later. My order is attached here for proof of purchase in case there are any doubters.
The store bills itself as an all Canadian enterprise and brags about it's post-sale support. That's a brag without substance.
Additionally, after I posted, and verified, a bad review due to the above they promptly deleted that review. Proof I submitted one is also attached.
Don't shop with these people, go somewhere else.
I've ordered a few times from this on line store and have found their service to be excellent. In both cases, the deliveries arrived on time, as described and for a great price. I will definitely order through them again!
Cookstore.ca is a fraudulent website. They are happy to take your money but will never actually ship your order. Everything I ordered was marked "in-stock" and said it would "ship within 12-14 days". It has now been 2 months and I have not received my items or any updates. Customer Service is no longer responding. I will be forced to complete a chargeback in order to get my money back from these scammers. Avoid them at all costs and support another retailer who actually wants your business.
Not too sure why some people are hating on store service. Just email, be polite, and having patience is all it takes to get what you're after. Another great product, great price, great service. Stay awesome guys!
Great job as usual! Fast shipping and well packaged products. I also made an in-store purchase recently, where I again received excellent service both on the floor and at checkout. You have a great team in place!
Tried to Place order on line, however not sure about the accessories I was ordering if they were the correct match for the oven, so tried numerous times to call but no luck, left items in cart which generated a personal e mail from them, however even the direct line to this person was unsuccessful got excited then let down. I will probably follow friends advise and try lapizzashop.ca. Good luck!
Great follow up on an item that was repeatedly back ordered... like nothing I've had before. Then a suggestion to send what WAS available, which was received in record time. Great service and definitely will use again.
I purchased a 10-piece All-Clad cookware set as a Christmas gift (with the proviso that there would be no birthday gifts this year!). Cook Store offered fantastic service and pricing, and delivered much sooner than expected. I will order from this site again!
Due to Cookstore doing their very best in satisfying so many customers during black Friday sales, it took a few weeks until we got our kitchen aid dough mixer shipped. But whenever we checked the shipping progress with them, they were helpful in explaining the situation and honest with the shipping delays. We got the mixer in perfect condition, well packed. As a surprise a pouring shield was included which we didn't expect but accepted it as a gift. We highly appreciate their friendly customer service and we would prefer buying from cookstore instead Amazon. We confirmed with Kitchenaid head quarters that Cookstore.ca is a legit retailer for kitchenaid products.
The latest is them removing all reviews from their Facebook page because of all the hate they deservedly are getting. I placed an order for a knife set that was to ship within days, weeks went by and I tried to cancel and get a refund, they denied it and said "it was in shipping". 2 days later I got tracking info and eventually did receive the set. I was told I could return the item for refund, but any inquiries as to how to start the process were ignored. Numerous examples are posted online of customers paying, waiting months, and never received their item or refunds. Customers have also returned items with proof of tracked shipping and cook store still didn't refund them! That's straight up theft. They are the worst, I'll never order from them, and am battling with PayPal for how shady this business is.
This was our first time ordering from your company and I have to say once things were shipped they arrived pretty quickly. My only issue (and it's a small one) is there was a hold up with regards to one item not being available and no one notified me until I asked whether or not my order had been shipped. Perhaps a quick email letting the customer know an item is on back order or delayed would be beneficial. Otherwise great service and delivery. Will order again. Stay safe and healthy.
2 items purchased but out of stock and back ordered for quite a while. I was given the choice of similar items in stock which were shipped promptly with no extra charge although slightly more expensive. I appreciate this excellent service
Cook store took my money and never shipped my items. They won't reply to emails but last time I heard from them my stuff was apparently shipping soon. I'm still waiting. If you need Christmas gifts from them, be sure to order a year in advance. Just kidding. Even 1 year of lead time won't help.
Absolutely despicable
Reasonably quick delivery of a Mason & Cole set of salt and pepper mills with the items arriving exactly as described and in perfect shape. I also received a very quick response to an inquiry I sent to customer service while my order was being processed. I originally purchased them as a wedding present but when I found out someone else had purchased it and not notified the registry, I couldn't resist keeping them for myself because the price was so significantly lower than the majority of other retailers.
I won't get into the details. Read all the other bad reviews. Poor customer service. I have a hunch that they hold your money as long as possible before drop shipping to increase profits. Do yourself a favour and read some reviews, you'll end up shopping somewhere better. I ended up buying from the Manufacturer and had it delivered in 4 days. Zero stars!
I had just received my first order from the CookStore, and one of my Emile Henry bread pans was broken during shipment. After contacting their support department they were very quick to help me out and ship out a new one free of charge. Besides the photos I included they didn't make the return process arduous where other retailers would have made me ship the broken item back at my cost. I just received the replacement today and it's perfect. Now it matches the second pan from the first shipment. I understand damage occurs during shipping and I'm so happy to see that they understood as well and made my experience a great one. Just like they didn't hesitate to fix the issue I won't hesitate to shop with them either.
First order, waited weeks then I want to cancel, they say items just arriving in their bay, wait more, attempt cancel again, they ship with tracking number but item never leaves warehouse, wait more. Eagerly checking to see movement. Item arrives 2 months after.
Second order, placed Aug 15. After opening a ticket, inquiring, remaining patient. They finally cancel the order Oct 1.
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere
I purchased a KitchenAid stand mixer from this so-called company but all they did was charge my credit card and never deliver the product. If you call there 1-800 number they tell you to write an email. There is no option to talk to a real person. I have written countless emails to them asking where my product is or to offer a refund but nothing has been answered. I have had to contact the Better Business bureau, PayPal and visa to try to dispute the charge and get my money back. What a nightmare. Please do not make the same mistake that I did. Under no circumstance should you buy anything from this company.
First of all sitejabber needs to clear some of the fake reviews left here example 5 star ones left on same day without any info. This is clearly being done by the cook store staff!
I ordered a woll pan 2 weeks ago saying the item was in stock. They claim their warehouse is in Mississauga which for me is usually one day shipping within the GTA. I have been relentlessly asking them - they said within 9 business days. Which it has now surpassed. I keep asking for my tracking number and they keep saying within the week. Well the week is over. And still no pan and no tracking. This is not an actual store but using some drop ship or they stole my money.

Answer: I am one of those who hates supporting the world wide behemoth online store so randomly bought from this Canadian company. The item I bought was not available in any local retail stores which is still my preference for shopping.(Victorinox - Blue 8" Fibrox Pro Straight Blade Chef Knife). I placed the order, had the confirmation email shortly, item shipped as expected and I had it in a few days. I'd use them again.
