I have always loved Converse due to the versatility of their shoes. They can be worn in all seasons, to all sorts of events. I would just be wary if you have wide feet though - the shoes do crease and end up tearing around the toe region after a lot of wear. Just something to be aware of.
Ordered some custom shoes for my daughter's birthday. They kept pushing the delivery date back. Then when I called I was put on hold for serveral minutes, and when they finally returned they said it hasn't even been picked up yet but the Carrier. But the tracking says it's been shipped.
I have been trying to get ahold of them for the last THREE WEEKS just to get a simple refund because my order was sent to my PO box and not my home address in a different state. I had my PO box ship it back to converse and the fedex screwed it up and never got back to converse. Point being is that they have the worst customer service ever. I was on hold about 5 different times in the last 3 weeks but each time it would be longer than 2 hour waits and then i hung up because i could stand waiting. I have also tried to chat them on their website and it would say "agent offline" during their business hours. That was my first time ever ordering from converse.com and i will never order from them again.
I called Converse the shoes are available in my size but the deal wasn't coming through in the shopping cart so I called to place the order… Move ahead to three agents and they still don't know what they're doing and they were just all so rude and unhelpful. I ended up just ordering the shoes from Zappos. I will not do business with this website again.
I bought shoes from Converse during their after-Thanksgiving sales, which were great, but my second order was canceled and reimbursed by the company. On my third order, the extra shoelaces I ordered were canceled by the company. My first order was great, however, my daughter needed a bigger size. I called to do an exchange within the thirty days and they said that because of the holidays they would extend the exchange/return time period to 60 days, which is great, but I have twenty days left to return or exchange them and they don't have them in stock. I was told almost two weeks ago that they should restock within two weeks, because they aren't a limited edition shoe. I called today because I saw that there was a size in the same shoe that would work for my daughter only to be told that it was no longer in stock. I asked if they could extend the return/exchange window and they said, "No." I'm frustrated because now their sales are not great and if I exchange for something different, I'll have to pay a lot more and my daughter's heart was set on those shoes. She had even tried on her sister's Converse shoes to make sure the size was right before I ordered them. I feel like their shoe sizes are a little inconsistent. Anyway, fingers crossed that they get more in stock before the return/exchange window ends.
And I guess they will always be my forever casual footwear. I remember the first time I felt in love with a pair of Converse (Avril Lavigne looked good wearing them and my "punk" phase was starting haha!) and from that moment, I have collected many pairs of their shoes. I don't want to throw the old ones away, so my closet it's like a museum of shoes I don't use because they are too old. I currently wear the ones without laces. Those make my life easier and practical now
A disaster. I bought two pairs last Thursday while traveling in the USA. When I arrive in Spain, the two boxes have the alarm on that they did not remove in the store (even though the alarm went off, the employee does not think of telling me to remove the alarms).
The second disaster comes when one of the shoes has a different size than the other, a 37.5 vs a 39.5! My fault for not checking, but I didn't do it because in Spain it is always checked by the employee
Lastly and almost the worst, I write to Converse Europe who tell me that this is carried out by Converse USA, which are different. I call the store where I bought and they tell me that I should deal with it with customer care converse. When I call they tell me, no, that the store must resolve this only if it accepts returns via postal mail (the store subsequently tells me no...).
Gentlemen from Converse, don't you have a unified policy regarding operations? Don't customer care know which stores accept returns or not? Since you cannot accept a return via postal mail, but instead you can accept it in person (taking into account that I want to pay for the shipping! Although you should pay it...). It's surprising that you don't want to do anything to fix it, you ruin the relationship with a person who has been buying Converse for 30 years and that my children also wore because they didn't want to fix an issue that was easy to solve.
My email es *******@hotmail.com
I returned a gift item purchased for a friend for Christmas. Converse received the item 1.6.2023. Today on chat when I requested status of my refund, I was told it takes 10 days to "process the refund". Then it takes up to 10 days for me to receive my refund to my account. They debited my account the minute I hit the "place order " button and POOF….the funds were gone. They had my money immediately. Certainly my ABSOLUTE LAST purchase of ANY converse product. For real.
I was lucky and got my glitter limited edition sneaker in my size and on sale! I missed out on another pair that I wanted- you have to move fast on popular sizes like unisex 5. The customer service was well versed and my coupon worked perfectly. Only place the coupon on the site when you are ready for the final sale process. If you put the coupon down to the site and do not complete the sale you can lose the coupon.
No place to even get a return label without having to wait a $#*! load for your turn in a virtual queue or try your luck calling. Wtf why do they not have a place where i can email and not have to wait on them. But again no where is there a way to print out you own return invoice without those drooling braindead dogs giving you it
I love the shoe it's really cute but for the past week there was something poking the back of my ankle and I just got to see it and there was a rusty nail underneath of the foot padding inside of the shoe I don't know if it was supposed to be there or what but I don't know.
I bought a two pairs of chuck 70 DE LUXE HEELS, THEY LOOK BEAUTIFUL AND FIT PERFECTLY, BUT I WORE THE OUT AND THE STICT OF THE SHOE RUB AGAIN MY SKIN AND HURT TERIBLY, I HAVE NEVER FELT SO MUCH PAIN
I HAD TO STOP AND BUY A PAIR OF SHOES...
CAN'T RETURN THEM BECAUSE YOU ONLY GET A 30 DAY'S RETURN WHICH I BUY PLENTY OF SHOES AND MIGHT NOT WEAR THEM IN 30 DAY'S,
WHY WOULD YOU GIVE 30 RETURN ON SOMETHING THAT COST $130.00 JUST RIDICULOUS. ALL MY LIFE I LOVE ME SOME CONVERSES BUT NOW THAT I KNOW THEY ARE SELLING CHEAP SHOES. THAT'S THE END OF THAT I DOESN'T WEAR CHEAP SHOES.
I BOUGHT THE SHOES OCTOBER 21 TODAY IS DECEMBER 10...
THIS IS REALLY RIDICULOUS
ARE YOU ALL NOT MAKING MONEY. BECAUSE YOU ARE SURE LOSING A GOOD CUSTOMER IM SO GLAD I DIDN'T PURCHASE THE THREE PAIRS THAT IN BOX.
PISS THE HELL OFF
I love the classic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers. Mostly because they are very universal.
I think I wore them with everything in my life, with jeans, with sweatpants. I even wore them with a suit once at a wedding lol.
My family has been converse customers for decades. Nike bought this company in 2003 and the customer service sucks. They are over seas which says it all. I bought a pair Dec 1st with delivery scheduled for 21st. PAID WAY OVER 100.00 Still don't have shoes have spoken with customer service multiple times to no avail. I was told last time that it is my problem and they will not give me a refund. This place sucks and will never receive my business again. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY.
Converse are my favorite shoes. They're comfortable, stylish, and have a long trusted history in the shoe business. I have 7 pairs, 3 new ones and 4 older ones; the only reason I own so many is because some of them I got lucky to find at a Goodwill shop; otherwise, I would have spent about $600 for all of them combined. But if I'm to be frank, that's the typical cost for shoes these days. If you think about it, $90 per pair isn't bad, but after only 1 1/2 years, all of my Converse have wound up with no grip, holes in the sole and side fabrics, as well as discoloration in the fabric and the laces from the metal in the shoelace holes. Though that is normal for most shoes, the sign for tearing and wearing out appears within a year's time. The shoes in the pictures are one of my newer pairs i got in March of this year and i haven't worn them that much but the tear and discoloration is obvious. I still wear them either way, but as an active 16 year old it's bothersome when I accidentally step in a puddle or if it's starting to get cold outside. Yes that does sound unsettling, but I would much prefer to have on a comfortable pair of shoes that actually look quite nice, rather than an uncomfortable pair just to look super nice. To some people it's about the look; for me it's the comfort that matters. So if you're like me, Converse are the shoes for you.
These were my first pair of converse and I choose a red, they seem true to size. Arrived quickly and got my normal shoe size 7. Every time I wear them out I get compliments on the great color!
I was discriminated against when attempting to purchase a converse product in Belgium just because I am from the United States. That is wrong no matter how you look at it. Are we one world or not?
6 months ago I bought 2pairs of chucks. 1 white (great) 1 black ( terrible) the soles are falling apart. I'm trying to glue them back together. Worst 65.00 I ever spent
The service I rec'd from this Co recently was nothing short of appalling. These idiots they have working at C/Service was awful. Email after email of purposely sarcastic responses to a PAYING CUSTOMER. Order from a separate outlet & not these turkeys.
Well converse just lost a customer from the base that they want customers from. We are in our mid 40's with one daughter I absolutely spoil. Income well into six figures and only spent $75 on a pair of shoes which to us is not that much. However we do expect SOME quality to come with the pair of shoes. The side of the shoe came unglued from the inner part in two places and on the top part of the shoe the material tore away from rubber in yet another area. They asked if I had a receipt? Really, that's just a scam. Even though it's only been 5 months since purchase, why would I keep a receipt? It's not like I'm buying a car. Seems to me as if it's a cheaply made product probably made in China, and sold at not a completely cheap shoe price, but $75. Middle of the road for cheaper shoes. Too bad the shoes were not better quality, my daughter would have had a closet full, now I refuse to buy something that will not even last 5 months. Be ashamed of your quality and maximizing your profits on a shoe that is only being sold based on its name.
Answer: They took my money more than a month ago, refused to refund, item is yet to be picked up. Not sure what to tell you fam
Answer: No, they're uncomfortable, get sockshh instead, they are truly now shows.
