My cable has been off in my bedroom for 3 weeks. They finally send a technician. Here's there for 2 minutes n says I need another wireless box. This is my 4th time picking one up. Crazy part is, I have to go to the xfinity store n get it myself. They don't give the technicians boxes anymore. WTF! I'm so tired of these people and there terrible customer service!
I bought an internet on Saturday and it was sad that I can take my equipment and connect in one(!) hour! Only on the third day one technician came and pulled the cable outside but did not put it inside the house. Four days passed and my home is still not connected! Some guy called me and wanted to set up an appointment on 5 January - do you want me to be without internet for almost one month!?! Basically, you violate your public offer, instead of 1 hour I wait for 4 days and do not have internet! No one sad and explained to me how much time I need to wait for the internet and how many technicians should come in order to have my home connected. Still, after 4 day I do not know when I get the internet.
Going on 2 months now since cancelation of service and no refund that I am due. Have contacted customer service 5 times and been lied to every time. Customer for over 10 years and they treat you like trash. I sincerely wonder how such a disrespectful company like this can stay in business. If possible, stay as far away from Comcast/Xfinity, spend your hard earned money with another company that earns your business.
As a student that does most of her work on her iPad, I can say that in the span of 2 hours of me studying, I had to restart the wifi router 5 times. It's so annoying to constantly have crappy internet. In my own household that is SUPPOSED to have wifi, i'm using data to access this safari page and write this bad review. If I could give them negative stars I would. -17/10 do not recommend if you would like to do work in peace.
Requested service for repair as this hasn't worked correctly in 2 years i sit now looking at tv screen that says no internet connection. So i wonder just what would a functional internet and cable cost since its 300.00 for service that doesnt work. By the way when i finally got someone on the phone they were adamant about NOT sending someone to fix it!. Its unfortunate they employ people like that to do customer relations.
This price gouging useless trash of a company will charge you arm and leg then chokehold your bandwidth and limit your internet until they ask you for more money. Worst part is, they are at least a step above the rest. As if that is some kind of excuse for their incompetence and willing disregard for the importance of Internet in the modern day. They gladly take your money then seem offended that you want something in return for it. Like providing Internet is this mystical magical thing they have no control over. It's insane what these companies are allowed to get away with. The people who run Comcast should be ashamed. You're gatekeeping an essential resource. There is something fundamentally wrong with you.
People on the phone VERY unqualified, simply don't know what they are doing,... including the most advanced team. To resole simple issue takes 5-6 calls and you ending up to gave technician comes to your house to fix it. Way bad service.
We got a new modem and all kinds of problems began, outages that lasted almost a week, with no phone and spotty internet, also have a business account. My biggest complaint is the sheer impossibility of reaching a live person and the complete lack of response to mounting frustration. For something this expensive, they could put a LOT more care into their automated system that loves to hang up on you, send you in circles and altogether turn you into a swearing adult meltdown.
Lots of outages that effect all of our services. They cut through a main sprinkler line which has caused high water bills, dead plants and costly sprinkler repair. I have called 7 times in two months without a return call. The manager that I finally spoke to was arrogant and could not give a darn if we kept their services or not.
Was told they were doing maintenance in my area and ran into a problem. Service has been out for 24 hours and they have you go to the internet to get updates. Well that would be great if that service was working. Call customer service and they tell you service will resume in 24 hours no worries. Well it has been 24 hours and still no service. When asked why did they perform maintenance during the week given the fact everyone student is doing online and some parents still working from home they were like your service will resume in 24 hours. Poor decisions making on their part given the state most families are in currently.
Comcast is terrible company. As many Americans now work from home due to the pandemic. Comcast has frequent outages & services interruptions mid day of a work week. With no explanation or regard. Hire your technicians to work earlier or on weekends. Not middle of a workday. To reach a representative is damn near impossible. Highest bills on inflation with lack luster service. On top of all that they monopolize the service area, where u can't another retailer. At&t had no service in my area. I hate comcast i'll just take another alternative please! Trash $#*! service!
I once used Comcast (before Verizon Fios became a competitor) and had the worse experience. They were basically a monopoly on cable service, making it unimportant to please customers. When Verizon Fios was made available, I quickly switched. Recently, I decided to check prices out and services, hoping that Comcast had changed its ways. They have not! The really did not care if I was using their service and only wanted me to switch to them online. No one should try to talk to them on the phone because you are not important enough for them to devote a few minutes of their time. Their stock went down today (July 28,2022) because they did not add any subscribers. Finally, the public has revolted and are not longer signing up for Comcast.
Comcast is garbage. They play the same thing the same movies over and over 4 months at a time. What is it with friends they play the everyday all day long on some channels, Tim channels play the same movie two three four times in a row everyone should cancel Comcast stop paying their bills till they can give us something worth watching not something we have to watch over and over again. The only reason I give it one star is because I have to it was up to me I'd give negative 5 stars
I would have given them no stars, but it wouldn't let me. These people just don't care. I have tried for 4 days to get a service person to come out to deal with issues I am having. Made a phone call and got an Indian lady with only fair English. She supposedly made me an appointment for Sunday, 8/2/2020. No one showed up. No one came on Monday so I went on-line to try to get an appointment. Was told a service rep would reply on Messenger within 30 minutes. It has now been 24 hours... nothing. I went out to the local office and the man out there was less than helpful, didn't care about my issues, and in a very sarcastic way said"have a nice day" as I left. I have too much time on my contract to just buy it out, but I will never do business with comcast again. They simply don't care. Don't waste your money with this company.
I have not had cable in awhile. Sad how bad Xfinity has gotten. Can't get any good channels without paying out the $#*!. Service goes in and out all the time. So sad and mad. I'll be turning off my service!
I wish I could give them less than one star. They deserve it. The worst customer service you could imagine. Their technical team has a standard answer, "I understand" but they don't. My service was in and out and sometime I reset as much as 20 times a day. It was exhausting. If you have a choice, don't use Xfinity. If you don't, good luck. You are likely to have spotty, unreliable service.
I got an unauthorized charge on my account because somebody obviously ordered a phone and phone service on my account. I could not even talk to anybody about it because they do not have a fraud department. Then I emailed them and asked them that I would like to have somebody calling me back, and they wanted to do a survey! When I told her that I'm very unhappy, and I just give them a one, the most, which is already pleasant to give them a one, The person on the phone told me to shut up! That is the customer service of Comcast! Stay away from it! Besides fall out and being over priced, there is never anybody to be reached!

I was with Comcast three different times over a period of eighteen years and each time was worse than the previous. There were multiple outages per month, their customer service is virtually non-existent, and their billing is a nightmare! If you call about billing; you will be connected overseas. If you can hear what they are saying, expect no help and be prepared for extreme arrogance. Customer service will tell you to go to the local store and yes you have to go to the store as they cannot take incoming phone calls! The clerks are friendly and seem to take care of the problem, but when the next bill comes out, nothing has changed. Three times is enough; I will never use them again!
My 81 year old mother got tangled up in Comcast bundle. A tree fell on the lines. The power company was there that day to look at it even though the power wasn't out. Comcast still hasn't come. I spliced in a temp fix just so she had service. Three days later still no call no service. How are they still doing business?
Comcast used to be known for their reliable and fast internet and cable. Now smaller start up companies are snaking their way in easily thanks to Comcast's service being incredibly unreliable. They will be losing more and more large accounts from communities as their contracts expire. Comcast's speeds are no longer competitive. There are many times a week that I think Dial-Up would be faster and more reliable. Its impossible to even stream tv at night now even with nothing else in the house taking from the bandwidths. Its pathetic.

Answer: No real success stories. Comcast kept me on the phone so many hours for issues which should've taken minutes each. Every call to customer service leaves you so aggravated, you cannot think straight for the remainder of the day or night.
